beef ribs were fantastic. very tasty bread. charcuterie tray was very good, but pricey for the quantity.

This is not the same restaurant. We dined here last July and had amazing dinner. The charcuterie boards were delicious and the menu unique. Based on that, we booked reservation to dine again while visiting from Nashville. We were disappointed. The menu is limited and NO charcuterie at all. Had we known that we would not have come. The food we had there was fine. I understand the area is still recovering from the floods last year and perhaps it is impressive even that they are able to remain open. However I think the owners and the chef should really think carefully as to how to make it more like it was. You need salads on the menu in summer. People love charcuterie. You can have 1 or 2 boards, you don’t need 7.

We were surprised by the tone of this review—especially since your last visit was over a year ago. Claywood has grown immensely since then and is now more successful and aligned with our mission than ever before. Our current menu reflects what our community has been asking for: seasonally driven dishes, Appalachian sourcing, and an elevated charcuterie program featuring in-house cured meats. We always recommend reviewing a restaurant’s current menu before visiting, particularly if you’re hoping for a specific dish or experience. While we value all feedback, we also stand proudly behind the evolution of Claywood. Our team has worked with intention and resilience to create a dining experience that is honest, inspired, and uniquely ours. We sustain more livelihoods now than we did last year.

Claywood is a hidden gem. The staff is welcoming. The ambience is inviting. The drinks are delicious and dinner was amazing. I’ve been to Claywood several times and we always have a wonderful experience. They were gracious enough to entertain nine of us and all of us had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this fabulous spot.

Everything we ordered was delicious. Great ambience. Very comfortable couches at table. There were so many options for us as vegetarians! We will be back.

Truly outstanding experience! Different than any other restaurant we have been to. The chef is phenomenal. We aren’t typically adventurous eaters but we took the opportunity to try some new things and everything was delicious! The service was also perfect. Highly recommend!

Our dining experience was wonderful. Friends were visiting us and we thought Claywood was the perfect spot. They said they want to go back on their next visit! We want to come back way before then!

We had never been to Claywood before and were recommended by some friends! It was so wonderful! We walked in and were so delighted to see this eclectic cozy environment. We sat at the bar as we always do things last minute. The bartenders were so kind and enjoyable to chat with. The specialty cocktails were delicious. And the food.......truly great; tasteful and flavorful! We were just so happy with the whole experience. Thank you for a great evening!!!
