My wife and I both had the 'Surf and Turf' and I have to say it was a square meal. The general rule for restaurants is to have a small menu that you do well - and here is a good example of that principal. The Surf was a small portion of well presented and nicely sauced Prawn and Lobster meat, the Turf was a nicley presented double cheese burger, complete with salad, tomato and a nice 'Burger Sauce' in a nice bun. The burgers were neither too thick nor too big and very juicy and not at all greasy. Chips were pre salted, served in a small metal bucket - hot and tasty. Add to that a nice cold beer and a side of coleslaw and finish off with 'Apple Cake' which was hot and tasty and served with nice quality Vanilla Ice Cream and I went away very happy.... Not cheap - but dinner for two in London never is and well worth it. We had a nice female attendant - with a touch of 'L' plates I suspect but she did a sterling job and I have no complaints at all. FYI Breakfast was also a good call, similar quality and tasty too....

I rarely find the time to put reviews together, but just had to for this restaurant. Our son has severe eggs and nut allergies and we often find it a difficult experience eating out. Claw made it one of the easiest we have had. The staff were attentive as soon as they were aware we had allergies. The allergy menu was easy to understand and best of all he had lots of choice including a delicious Apple cake dessert. Aside for the allergies the food was delicious, we will definitely be returning!

Their website does not reflect their restaurant at all in terms of food or ambience. The main restaurant looks like a narrow room with no atmosphere in terms of lighting or music. The staff were attentive, almost too attentive and it felt like they were clearing our plates every few minutes wanting us to leave. The linguine was so soggy and tasteless and didn’t look like the pictures on the website. The burger and chips were ok. Overall a disappointing experience and I won’t be going back.

The place was amazing. My wife and I were there with our 3 month old baby ans we really had a good time. Very friendly and polite staff. The food was also great. Fills you up pretty quickly. Will definitely go back and would highly recommend the place

Arrived early evening our choice so the only people in restaurant, young guy took us to table where we ordered a bottle of wine and our food, wine arrived didn't ask if we would like to try it ,just ,plonked it on the table unopened,fortunately it was a screw top, for us to help ourselves. First course arrived in minutes, quite pleasant tuna tartare slightly overbearing taste of onion and tabsco but ok . The guy cleared the tabled then in less than 5 mins our main course arrived, my husband had lobster linguini and l had half a grilled lobster both pleasant but very bland , mine came with a unrecognisable sauce but the chips were good. Didn't fancy a pud so ordered coffee drank it quickly as cold. Got the bill and left .we were there 45 mins and spent over £100 ,won't be returning, if you charge big prices you need to run like a proper restaurant, it's a pub just serve pub food and your restaurant might have people there

The food and service was amazing 10/10. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the lobster Thermidor was to die for. Not one complaint from a table of 10. We will definitely be dinning here again.
