    In my view this restaurant is expensive. High points were the Pimms and the Desserts which were both excellent; however I found that their Beefburger was disappointing for the price. Kimmeridge is quite a special place and this is the only restaurant, so it is best viewed as part of the expense of going there.

    This is our 2nd visit as a family group. The food is fantastically fresh and tasty and cooked with care and attention. Drinks are bought out quite quickly. Drinks are standard pub drinks but at slightly inflated prices. Food is fantastic and portions are large. It is not cheap but the quality and quantity of food is very good and the location of the pub is very beautiful and relaxed. The restaurant also has food stall at the beach serving lovely food and is priced the same so I would opt for fantastic location of the restaurant over beach side which can be windy. Well done to the lovely friendly and helpful staff at Clavells.

    Beautiful restaurant next to The Etches Collection. Fabulous food at good prices. Great ambiance and service. This was our second visit and we will definitely return 🥂

    Food was mediocre and extremely overpriced. My chicken salad was a chopped up breaded chicken fillet with grated cheese and a couple of bits of avocado fir £23. Extortionate . A nothing special beefburger £20. Over £120 for 3 of us. Won't return.

    The menu is extensive and the food very nicely presented and excellent. It's a quiet country restaurant, making the most of the abundant Dorset produce and doing it really well too. Plenty of parking, great friendly staff and a lovely place to have a meal at. Well worth going to and definitely off the mass tourism routes not far to the east.

    Had a delicious lunch - crab salad - not cheap but good portions and delicious, freshly prepared and very tasty.. Very attentive & friendly staff Restaurant located in beautiful village Definitely will return!
