Claudette Ratings and Reviews
I met an out of town friend for brunch. Menu was varied, and they accommodated changes to the menu options (Eggs benedict with salmon). Food was delicious. The side cauliflower was outrageously delicious - spicy (ras al hanout, maybe?) and my friend loved the shakshuka. It's warm, cozy, and welcoming, even on a freezing day. A great place in the village in a location that has seen so many restaurant incarnations.
We almost cancelled our dinner reservation after reading reviews about it being a brunch place, but it was an incredible dinner and worth a trip any night. Beautiful space, incredible service and even better food. The shitake mushrooms, burrata, sea bass, and tangine were all exceptional. Thank you for a memorable evening! Don’t think this is brunch - it is world class food. Def pricey when drinking!!
This was our 1st visit to Claudette & our 1st impression was quite good. We liked the ambiance of the restaurant a lot. The service was quite good- there was not much of a wait to give a drink order & the waitress was attentive, but not overbearing. We placed our food order & were a bit shocked @ how quickly the food was brought to the table. We couldn’t understand how the meals were prepared so fast ( let me mention that we were there for brunch, so it might be a bit quicker than dinner). At 1st bite for all of us we all commented that the food was cold. If it hadn’t come out of the kitchen so quickly, we would have thought it was sitting for a while before being served to us. The only other thing we could come up w/ was that it was perhaps pre-made, & just plated when the order was placed. The taste of the food was quite good, but would have been so much better if it was at least warm.
The staff is great, with speedy and attentive service. The food was absolutely amazing. I don’t usually order chicken out, but their Sasso Chicken was the most flavorful, crispy, and tender I’ve ever had! The atmosphere was friendly, jolly, cozy, and feels like dining in a French countryside homestead.
I whole-heartedly recommend Claudette.
The food was great! I had a very attentive waiter I forgot his name but he was a slim short man with an accent and had some pretty rad tattoos. Shoutout to him and the awesome food!!! And my wonderful hot date of course! 😍
We had such a lovely evening here. Everything came together. First, the service, the waiter was totally professional. He recommended wonderful wines and telepathically knew when we needed him. Second, the food, which is Moroccan/middle eastern was light and delicious. Third, the ambience, the decor is charming and relaxed, plus, it is not noisy, which I love.
Very impressed with Claudette. The food was very interesting, packed with flavor. Get options for small plates and large entrees too. Service was incredible. All the staff was incredibly attentive. Our waiter took extra time to answer our questions. I made a reservation for our anniversary. The hostess gave us a little cozy corner and they gave us complementary Madelines at the end for the occasion.
