Fantastic experience at Claudette! Food was wonderful, wait staff was extremely attentive. Went to celebrate a birthday and enjoyed every item ordered! Our table got the falafel, beet salad, cauliflower, and the cheese and salmon skewers. Everything was very good and dessert was amazing.
Delicious prix fixe lunch menu, nice cocktails and wines by the glass. Amazing desserts. Simply perfect food prepared in the French way. Lovely bright and airy ambience. My friend and I had a lovely time catching up over a wonderful meal!
Restaurant has great vibe and ambience is great The staff are all very attentive and nice .The menu is amazing and everything we ordered was flavorful and tasty and the vegetarian choices were very authentic can’t wait to go back
Great food; terrific service
Special place in a special location
Always such a pleasure - the staff is wonderful, the menu is short but interesting and everything is a hit. The atmosphere is cozy but comfortable! I've only been for brunch which is my favorite time to go to Claudette.
My brunch at Claudette was perfection, except for my finding my favorite dessert was no longer available. I frequented Claudette specifically for the Ile Flottante. This dessert made Claudette special for me. I hope they put it back on the menu.
Good food, very good / attentive pleasant service. Everything tastes fresh.
Fantastic dining experience.
Charming, delicious food, attentive service. Can’t wait to go back
This is simply a lovely, lovely restaurant with extraordinarily tasty, innovative, and satisfying food. I try to go several times a year. The servers are fun, discrete, and informative. The decor is elegant and rustic. And the FOOD! Truly a treat.
A pleasant atmosphere, good service, and good food!
I have a weekend brunch at Claudette every couple of months, often with my young adult kids - and the food is consistently great. I think the French toast is the best in the city and the egg dishes are also terrific. It can get a bit noisy on the weekends but the service is fine and you can sit outside in good weather. Definitely recommended.
Lovely brunch. Great ambiance. French toast was average, martini pricey for small amount. Mushroom omelette was excellent as was the Bloody Marie and the flavor/strength of the coffee.
amazing food amazing vibe.....feels like another country!
Interesting, different and subtle use of North African spices in southern French food, reasonable wine list, very generous serves (we over ordered) and friendly staff.
We brought an energetic 4-year-old, 30 minutes early and they couldn’t have been kinder or more attentive. On top of that the food was delicious.
Loved the ambience. Warm and comfortable. Service and food were excellent!
Was really looking forward to dinner at Claudette after the reviews and seeing pictures. Left scratching my head. $110 for two drinks and three orders of skewers? Service was great, I’ll give them that but I certainly will not be coming back her and won’t be recommending.
Deafeningly noisy. Too crowded. Martinis tiny. Sad because food was wonderful.
This is a great spot for friends or a date night. French fare with a Moroccan twist; very flavorful. Excellent service. My friend and I arrived at 9:30p after having taken a yoga class nearby. We ordered several appetizers and a glass of wine each. At that hour, that was filling enough. I would like to return with my husband and try out the tagines. I definitely want to keep this restaurant in the rotation. Très bien.
Food very good but more moroccan than french. Limited menu but everything well executed. Whole fish was done better than any fish specialist or greek restaurant in town ( except for Le Bernardin )
Excellent! As always!
Came here on a Tuesday night, fairly busy for the start of the week and food came out okay. Ordered the salmon and It was a bit cold. Was celebrating my birthday but just felt like a regular dinner so I guess if you want to go to a place where they make you feel special on your day, this place isn’t It.
Loved the vibe with the Moraccan influence. Menu was varied with MANY fabulous choices; brunch scrambled eggs/salmon is highly recommended as well as the french toast. served perfectly in a very cozy environment.
Eclectic drink menu...friendly and informative staff. Will def return!
The place is very cute, food was good, prices are ok for NY but service was really bad. We had a reservation for 1:30 pm and we were seated until 2:20 because they did not have any tables available. We were told to wait at the bar in the mean time but the bar was full and they wouldn’t serve us any food there, not even small appetizers, just drinks so we had to stand there waiting for almost an hour. We were celebrating a bridal shower so by the time we got a table we were already starving and in a bad mood which made our experience bad. Too bad because the food is very good, Specially the truffle hummus and the eggs Benedict
Great restaurant, very cute French ambiance. Delicious food. Tables slightly small along the walls, and bench seats along wall were a bit higher than the chairs across table, would’ve been nice if they were the same level seats.
Great brunch, service impeccable. Lovely, relaxed ambiance!
This is a gem in the west village. Went for brunch and loved every minute of it. The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. The ambience was lovely. Will definitely be going back.
The service was great, the food delicious, excellent table and atmosphere. This will always be a must visit when my husband and I are in New York.
I think they should have lower music level. The restaurant is in my neighborhood and is wonderful but can get too loud.
My new downtown fave.
Noisy after 730, but worth it.
Excellent food and service...and for me, location.
I love Claudette. It is a lovely spot that feels sophisticated and comfortable at the same time. The food is excellent and the menu different than much of what one sees around town. One of my go-to places for sure!
Food was good. Not outstanding. Wine was good. Service was prompt. Price was very reasonable for NYC and lower 5th Avenue. Good value.
Gorgeous place. As a designer I didn’t know where to look. Food was so unusual! Would go back for dinner as this wasn’t their dinner menu.
From beginning to end we were blown away. The front of the house greeted us as if we’ve been long lost friends. Our coats were taken immediately and we were walked to the bar to have a cocktail while our table was being prepared. Our server and manager walked us thru the menu and highlighted the “not to be missed” dishes. This place has the best burrata outside of Europe. The staff is a notch above the rest. They work together to create an outstanding experience for the guests. We felt full, quenched (with great wines of course) and like we can’t wait to come back. This place has it right. They definitely get it!
I love the vibe at Claudette and the food is always delicious, but I only gave four stars because although my beet salad was divine, they did not peel the roasted beets, which I found odd. Our waiter was lovely, but also a bit spacey: I canceled my tea order, but then was brought tea anyway, except it wasn't Moroccan mint, but some kind of ginger chamomile tea. He forgot my friend's coffee refill and then never brought her leftovers. Not the end of the world, and he was likely just having a bad day.
Took a very good friend to enjoy this place for the 1st time and she loved it! Specially our waiter, HE is friendly and very knowledgeable! He deserves a 10 over 5!!!
