Claude Bosi at Bibendum
The a la carte menu features some of his signature classics and the chef’s Michelin-starred alma matter, with ingredients sourced predominantly from the British Isles and France. The striking upstairs dining room with its dramatic and iconic floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows has been redesigned to house a larger central open kitchen. The light and airy dining room will feature the original Conran chairs with a soft colour palate of muted blues.

Simply decorated dining space with very attentive and approachable staff means you can focus on all of the special details of this dining experience. The dishes and presentation are full of special surprises and excellent flavours. This restaurant has a lot more character than some of the other fine dining restaurants in the area.
Another excellent experience at Claude Bosi. A wonderful lunch.
From the start to the finish the experience at Calude Bosi at Bibendum was perfect. A truly excellent afternoon in the midst of the mad year of 2020 and it seems just in time before another lockdown.
Pricey but perfect - if you are lucky enought to be able to afford it treat yourself.
We are sure we will treat ourselves again, soon.
Faultless from start to end
From arrival to farewell the entire experience was faultless. Dishes were executed to as close to perfection as I have known. Special mention to the front of house team who were welcoming and friendly which in such an opulent fine dining setting isn’t always the way. The sommelier suggested some wines for us which were superb. This is a 6 star experience!!
As usual, the dishes were creative and flavoursome, the waiters/waitresses were attentive and helpful and the ambience warm and comfortable.
I would recommend Bibendum to everyone who wish to take their dining experience to new heights.
Eating in the restaurant at Claude Bosi at Bibendum is an experience you will remember for some time. Everything was exquisite.
Quite simply the perfect dining experience. The room, the service, food, wine, ambiance all excellent. Our lunch lasted over 3 hours and we enjoyed every minute. Special occasion? Look no further.
Modern cuisine but disappointing for the price and reputation.
Absolutely tremendous- highly recommended. Food was fabulous, we decided on the tasting menu and matching wines, every course was amazing.
That was without a doubt one of the best dinners I’ve ever had. Every mouthful was equally surprising and delicious.
Great overall experience excellent food and service - classic yet inventive
Amazing lunch with my partner, a special treat for us and out of lockdown this was the perfect place to celebrate, the food was outstanding as always, Claude`s food is creative and perfect in every sense, service was attentive, professional and just the right level contact. felt extremely safe with current conditions in place for restaurants and spacing was good.
Simple superb - love it
Great for a special occasion - He's such a great chef and great to see him in kitchen with his brigade . Recommend it strongly
Top table in London at the moment. Eye wateringly expensive but worth every penny. As COVID secure as it is possible to be.
It’s definitely a special occasion restaurant, with special price tag attached, and Claude Bosi makes it a night to remember. This is fine dining but with a fun twist. It feels like Heston Blumenthal and Claude have been chatting. A real olive tree brought to your table has some very delicious and surprising olives for you to try. The theatre continues with trollies bearing champagne, ice cream, cheeses and liqueurs arriving at your table throughout the meal. Service is genuinely warm and welcoming. The waiters have that sixth sense, that only the best ones have, of knowing what you want before you ask for it. Yes, it’s expensive, but with all the little complementary extras it’s very good value for money. If you’re celebrating then a meal at Bibendum will give you memories, as well as flavours, to savour.
Five stars are given out on open table like it is going out of fashion. This is a true 5 stars.
A two Michelin star restaurant that really should be a three now.
It was a birthday meal, me and my partner ands we went for the tasting menu (one vegetarian and one omnivore). We've eaten in various Michelin restaurants and this was truly worthy of its stars. Dishes that we had never seen or tasted before, not variations on a theme. Service was excellent (while being unobtrusive). I wont spoil the surprises if you choose a tasting menu by telling you what we had but I suspect that the menu will change with seasons and we'll certainly be going again
Really good fun with all the amuse-bouche and little extras. Delicious wine by the glass too. And friendly waiting staff. Love this place.
We went to celebrate our lockdown engagement and had the best time. Amazing food, brilliant experience and Claude came out at the end to meet everyone. One of the best meals I’ve had. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic service throughout and being in the ichlin Building only added to the grandeur, as far as 2* star restauraunts go i would put it at the higher end of the quailty.
Lived up to their two Michelin stars. The food and setting were sublime. The whole event was enhanced by the excellent service. Our highly knowledgable waiter struck the perfect balance of providing information about each dish without intruding on our experience in any way.
We had an amazing dinner at bibendum . Food was outstanding and service friendly and helpful.
Bibendum is an exceptional experience - never fails to please and surprise!
Super experience! Maybe need some thoughts about noise, but really really good!
This was one of the best michelin dinners me and my partner have had. The restaurant is lovely, the food was fantastic and the service was great. We met Claude briefly at the end as he said goodbye to everyone which was a nice touch! Recommend the wine pairing as the selections were fantastic. Will definitely return.
Very much enjoyed our evening here. Excellent food and pleasent service. Definitely recommend.
Amazing! Great experience!
Superb classic French cuisine. The chicken for two was glorious. Quite a challenge finishing by ten pm.....
Wonderful food, wine and exceptional service. A fantastic evening.
A very unique experience in an historical venue. Exceptional quality for entrees and main course.
This was my finest dining experience ever! Chef Claude and his exceptional team demonstrated how to take the great ingredients and superb wine and elevate them to a new dimension. The presentation, taste, service were extraordinary and sublime. My lunch will be unforgettable and a marker how my future fine dining experiences will be. I can only express my admiration and recommend this fine restaurant.
Amazing staff and delicious food.
A great dining experience; excellent service, lovely ambience, creative presentation, and extremely delicious food. Highly recommended.
Pure perfection. Credit to all those who put hours and hours to create this wonderful food and service. Mr. Bosi himself standing in the kitchen making sure everything met his standard. Can’t ask for a better experience.
We held our wedding reception here 25 years ago and celebrated our anniversary there on Friday. Still magical with a wonderful ambience.
Wonderful! Really interesting and well executed food.
We had the lunch menu which includes wine and water but not coffee/tea. The service was excellent, staff really friendly and the room in the Michelin building is beautiful.
Will definitely go back. Also Claude Bosi himself was in the kitchen and spoke to all the guests after service ended.
Excellent food. Huge trouble is taken to treat all to sensational extras. Highly recommend for a special evening
Wonderful experience
I don't usually leave reviews but this one I feel I have to, as it's surprisingly mixed.
I just can't believe I would have all below experience at the same time at a 2 star place.
- Didn't confirm dietary requirements - I don't eat strong cheese and got served amuse bouche with blue cheese. I didn't flag on the scene as this was only the beginning, I didn't want to ruin the whole dinning experience.
- One of the staff tried to take away my dish without asking first - I didn't finish eating it, was simply talking to my husband so put down the cutlery. The staff did apologies however it feels like we've been rushed.
- No petite four which was a surprise given the calibre of the restaurant.
- I chose the occasion to be Birthday (for my husband), literally nothing happened, not even a staff saying happy birthday. What's the point of asking me to choose the occasion when I made the booking?
- Food - all the seafood were really fresh and the way they were cooked was brilliant - tender, juicy and brought out the natural taste of the ingredients. However I wish there could be some holdback on the use of sauces, it covers the quality of the ingredients unfortunately. Though this probably is the chef's signature as it's the same back at the Hibiscus time.
- Desert - the chocolate souffle is a gem.
