Good wine, cocktail and non-alcoholic choices. Dozen oysters (east/west coast) were delicious. Clams/linguine and crab cakes were prepared perfectly. Dessert of olive cake and key lime pie were good finishers. Friendly and informative staff.

This is a very vibrant and happening place. Expect to wait for a table, even with a reservation, and to speak very loudly to be heard by your table mates. The food was good, but not super memorable. We heard great reviews about the burger. It was good, but almost slider-sized (small). The fish change frequently, so don’t rely on what you see on the on-line menu.

Clark's Oyster Bar is such a welcome addition to Menlo Park. We are so starved for good restaurants and Clark's hits all the right notes. The space is bright and spacious with some fun art and comfortable seating. Our server was attentive and informative. We enjoyed the Oysters Rockefeller, a wonderfully dressed green salad and the best Clam Fettuccini ever. Wonderful cocktail menu too!

Nice place for lunch. Free sourdough bread, crispy shoestring potatoes. The crudo was delicious. The crab Louie was refreshing, sweet crab meat, I wish it was bigger? The mussels didn’t taste that fresh sadly.

We liked the ambiance here. It's like an upscale 50s diner. The only disadvantage is all the hard surfaces, which echo the noise. I had the crab cake, which was good, but not as good as Maryland crab cakes. I'm spoiled! It came with a small salad on the plate and a small dollop of hollandaise sauce, which could have had more flavor. My husband had the lobster roll, which was good, but he didn't like the French fries, which were more like potato sticks that we used to get in a can. The complementary sourdough bread and butter was a nice addition to the meal. The prices here aren't cheap - $34 for a small crab cake, and $45 for the lobster roll, but I guess that's seafood costs nowadays.

Seated inside the food and service were very good but noise level prevented conversation and resulted in one incorrect order. We'll try eating outside next time, weather permitting.

We dined outside which was lovely. I did notice that the noise level inside was VERY loud…..
