The food is excellent though you are paying for that excellence. Our server was seemingly inexperienced and at times seemed flustered. He had trouble communicating and understanding our questions. He did not seem experienced in serving for a higher end restaurant environment. I would have expected him to be calmer and more aware of his surroundings. We will go back but hopefully not get him again. The artichoke and shrimp toast were exceptional, as was the linguine with various seafood and the rare tuna. The 'famous' Clark's fries are tasty, but hard to eat gracefully. Cocktails were delicious and there is a good wine selection as well.

A new restaurant in Menlo Park focused on seafood and well worth visiting. The noise level is high but the food experience is higher.

Good wine, cocktail and non-alcoholic choices. Dozen oysters (east/west coast) were delicious. Clams/linguine and crab cakes were prepared perfectly. Dessert of olive cake and key lime pie were good finishers. Friendly and informative staff.

This is a very vibrant and happening place. Expect to wait for a table, even with a reservation, and to speak very loudly to be heard by your table mates. The food was good, but not super memorable. We heard great reviews about the burger. It was good, but almost slider-sized (small). The fish change frequently, so don’t rely on what you see on the on-line menu.

Clark's Oyster Bar is such a welcome addition to Menlo Park. We are so starved for good restaurants and Clark's hits all the right notes. The space is bright and spacious with some fun art and comfortable seating. Our server was attentive and informative. We enjoyed the Oysters Rockefeller, a wonderfully dressed green salad and the best Clam Fettuccini ever. Wonderful cocktail menu too!

Nice place for lunch. Free sourdough bread, crispy shoestring potatoes. The crudo was delicious. The crab Louie was refreshing, sweet crab meat, I wish it was bigger? The mussels didn’t taste that fresh sadly.
