About Clark's Oyster Bar
Clark's features classic American seafood with an emphasis on freshness, local products, simple preparation, attention to detail, and clean presentation.
Classic coastal cooking from the Texas Gulf to the Northeastern Seaboard will influence Clark's menu. A large portion of the concept is devoted to the Oyster, Cold Bar, Seafood, & Caviar. We procure the freshest oysters from small harvesters around North America and serve cold seafood platters featuring super fresh daily specials.

Clark's Oyster Bar Ratings and Reviews
We were happy to get a table outside by requesting it just before our reservation at 11:00am on Saturday. We wish we could make a request for outside when the reservations are made. The server was delightful -- efficient and attentive with a good sense of humor. The food was delicious as always.
Clark's never disappoints. The setting, service, drinks, and food are always very well done and, while one is sure to drop some coin while there, it is always money well spent. My only reservation about this past visit was the size, and to some extent flavor, of the cocktail onion in my Gibson........a bit overwhelming on both fronts. I appreciate the in-house effort, but unlike their maraschinos, which ratchet up the concept, the onion, for me, went in the other direction.
This restaurant group does a great job at all of their restaurants. I particularly like Jeffery's as well. Much different experience than the many goofy, trendy, art food restaurants that come and go in Austin. Their service is pretty darn good as well which is rarity in Austin. At many Austin Restaurants you can drop $250 on dinner and you have a wait staff that was probably working at the mall earlier in the day.
This is one of those places where I am excited all day about the prospect of having the Clark's menu in my hands. So many delicious seafood options and their burgers are also very good. I also love the L.Roederer rose brut - yum - long may it stay. The oyster list is interesting and seems very fresh to me. I adore their lobster roll and enjoy the unusual angel-hair -
cut fries - I'm certain I look like I'm stuffing bales of straw into my mouth - not very glamorous but very delish. This menu is full of delicious treats and there seems to be no shortage of staff moving swiftly in and out of doors.
The food was excellent. I had the crispy snapper and my daughter had the scallops along with a dozen oysters, the corn and kale. Everything was well prepared and delicious. Our waiter was very helpful in helping us choose the wine and oysters. A truly superior restaurant
Went to Clarke's for just oysters since we had eaten ahead of time. Have a great selection from various parts of N. America. We got a dozen to share. All were excellent. Bread service was also nice with very nice butter. Only negative was cost of oysters. Over $3 each a bit high especially when a table orders a dozen or more.
