The only thing I would improve would be the crab cakes. But I was born in MD.
Service was a bit slow. We love this restaurant, and think it’s one of Aspen’s gems.
We have dined at Clark’s several times for lunch and decided to give it a try for dinner. The food and ambiance was fantastic but our service was moderate - very different compared to the staff during the day. However, it’s still a great place to visit!
Great place to eat in Aspen. Good service, great food.
Comfortable, relaxed ambiance with delicious food and great service!
Meal was expensive due to two cocktails and a dozen oysters at $4.50 each. They didn’t need to charge $2.50
For a second serving of the bread which was delicious.
Clark's Oyster Bar is the perfect example of wanting MORE than 5 stars to review!!
This meal was one of the Top 5 that I have had worldwide. I enjoyed each bite that I took and the flavors exceeded our expectations.
Our server, Georgina, had the perfect amount of table reactions. I enjoy a "little" attention and she was perfect with this. I do not like servers coming to the table every 2 minutes.
The entire staff were perfect. Our water glasses never went empty. (I loved the glasses so much I was tempted to slip one in my pocket :-)
I witnessed the young lady setting the tables taking care, time and attention to detail. That really impressed me.
The key lime pie was outstanding and is a must. That is a high compliment especially since I am from South Florida and go to the Keys often.
There was NOTHING to complain about on this visit.
When you are in Aspen you must try this place out.
You and your tummy will not be disappointed.
Money well spent.
THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE STAFF, FOH and BOH, for an evening that we are still talking about.
BRAVO to the chef and pastry chef!!!
Such a fun energy! The food and service is spectacular. Can't wait to go back!
Lovely staff and really tasty, interesting, expensive seafood.
Service was fantastic.
Setting was very nice. Open kitchen which I always enjoy.
Food was average. Pricing was very high. Definitely was not wowed by the food for the cost.
The food was excellent, we enjoyed the entire meal. Best restaurant experience for us in a long time. Great cocktails too. We will absolutely recommend this restaurant to everyone we can. Keep up the good work. BTW, we’re in the restaurant business too, and this was top notch.
Clarks does not disappoint; well, part of the time. I ordered the Snapper, and it was good but it’s a shame that you needed a magnifying glass to spot it over the bed of greens (only a slight exaggeration). The price point is not reflective of the amount of food served. It isn’t; even if it is Aspen. Ugh. The crunchy potatoes with chimichurri, a must order. The drinks were great! A thank you and a shout-out to JON (bartender). On a scale from 1 to 10, it’s a solid 7, but at that price-point it should be at least a 9.
The best dinner I’ve had in a long time. So beautiful too.
Our wait person was outstanding and extremely accommodating!!
What a wonderful first (and certainly not last) experience at Clark’s. From beginning to end, it was a fantastic experience. The service and ambiance was excellent but what made our experience truly exceptional was the food. The oysters were presented perfectly and the trout and halibut were perfect. I loved the halibut with the salsa verde sauce and my date loved the trout with the red chimichurri sauce. The grits were creamy and delicious. We topped the evening with a very crisp key lime tart and coffee. We will abuse coming back. Thanks for a great experience.
The menu has very creative options and the food was delicious. Staff very friendly, service outstanding. Was so impressed looking for an second opportunity to go back on our week's vacation in Aspen.
Oysters were excellent. The Clams and mussels were superb. The crab cake was the best I’ve had since Etta’s in Seattle.
Not inexpensive but worth it. The place to go for seafood in Aspen.
Trout was amazing!
My favorite dish your Clark’s Chopino was lacking in fish contents. It was half the ingredients that is normally in it. Felt like a full rip off! I’ve been a generous and steady customer since you opened.
FYI Also window table #53? behind front hostess is dark and needs at least 2 candles!
Good atmosphere, great variety of quality seafood. Service friendly and professional. Decent wine list. Downgrade is for the totally ridiculous prices, admittedly consistent with Aspen overall. Definitely recommend the octopus appetizer!
As with it seems all restaurants these days, Clark’s Aspen is loud( inside).
We love Clark's and have been going there for years. The fish is outstanding.
Can’t say enough good things about Clark’s. Always fun and delicious.
All the Oysters were the very best...both the raw & baked...fresh & clean...the linguine with white clams sauce was spectacular!
This was a wonderful experience from the warm welcome at check in to fabulous service & food. It is pricey but we were celebrating a birthday.
As always Clark's is fabulous. Never disappoints.
I love the other times I have been to Clark’s, but this time it was lacking, to say the least. The music was so loud that I couldn’t hear my date in front of me. The food was ok, but I wasn't convinced by the price tag on my linguini, like for a $34 bowl of pasta I expect it to be fabulous, and it wasn't, and it needed salt and maybe less cream, more of a chardonnay - like sauce. Just disappointed this time.
Outside seating our favorite!
This place is awesome! From the ambiance to the food it is a great experience. Highly recommend the octopus it is a bit spicy but was delicious. Another highlight was the clams linguine. Overall it was a great experience.
Clark’s is always a must stop for us. They consistently have some of the best oysters we’ve ever had. The chioppino is stellar as is the burger and the pot de Creme for dessert. Highly recommend.
My favorite place in town!
One of our favorite restaurants in Aspen! We felt very comfortable and safe dining there during Covid. The food and service was excellent.
The food was fantastic! We had the steak tartare, crab cake and grilled octopus. The butterscotch pot de creme was incredible! Our server was lack luster, he disappeared for long periods of time and we had to ask for more water. He seemed to be less attentive than other servers. Would still go back though the food was worth it.
Excellent! Can’t wait to go back!
We’ve been coming to Clark’s for every date night. We branched out from our usual drinks and appetizers and actually got dinner. It was wonderful! The ambiance, service, and food are fantastic!
We had the most incredible experience. Our waitress was fabulous and so attentive. We just got married at the courthouse down the street, just the two of us and she kindly treated us to a glass of champagne to celebrate our marriage. The food was excellent, out of this world! I even bought a cute blue sweater. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all foodies!!!!
The food was not so great compare to the price. Not what expected.
Great food. Excellent Toddy. The crude plates are amazing. Their red snapper entree and ceviche is totally worth it.
