   We were excited to dine again at The Dearborn Inn after the lengthy remodel. The Early American Room/Clara's Table has been updated, soft colors exuding warmth and calmness. We were at the 11am Mother's Day Brunch and met with a busy crowd, but not overwhelmingly busy. We were seated, and water was brought out for us (table of 4). I thought that the water was infused with fruit as it was pink, however. after setting the water glasses down the hostess stated that she would take them back *because the water did not look right as it was pink.* We are grateful that she took those water glasses and returned with different glasses/water. Our waitress attended to the table to take our order. The price point was $90 per person. Yes, that is the Dearborn Inn, yes it was for Mother's Day, however, for $90 there was not much included. There were a few table scattered around the room with; tea sandwiches, fruit kabobs, tiny yogurt parfaits, desert table with petits fours, and crossiants, There was an omelette station with salmon available, however, this was not utilized as you also needed to order an entree from the *Chef's Menu.* Yes, it does seem as though there are many items available, but for the price point it seems a bit steep (even for the Dearborn Inn). Anything extra was a'la carte as well (even a Mother's Day Mimosa-which was just orange juice and champagne(there was no fruit, no carafe to refill the mimosa, etc...). Again, we love The Dearborn Inn, and we are pleased that it has reopened, however, Mother's Day Brunch was quite disappointing.

   We took our moms to Mother's Day Brunch at Clara's Table and it was absolutely wonderful. They were both so delighted and it was beautiful. We loved the little stations and enjoyed the salmon, multiple omelettes (huge hit), little chicken salad sandwiches, crostini with tapanede or roast beef, lemon bars, raspberry and turtle tarts, chocolate cake, mini parfaits. For main brunch entrees, we had shortribs with hashbrowns and french toast. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding.

   We enjoyed the ambience and the restaurant looked lovely. The menu just wasn’t what we expected. We like a fancy dinner, but it was almost too fancy with limited options. There wasn’t even a chicken at for a main course. I had the snapper and it was great, but it just seemed like we were very limited. Thank you.

   We had the best server in the world 🌎 🙌 The red snapper, short rib and lamb bolognese were delicious. The non alcoholic cocktail 🍸 was delicious and refreshing. We'll be back!

   Four of us had a wonderful birthday dinner in the beautifully renovated Clara’s Table. It was very quiet for a Friday night, but we assume the word is not yet out on the Dearborn Inn’s recent reopening. Though not inexpensive, the restaurant is certainly worth a visit. The room is elegant, and we enjoyed a wonderful meal—oysters; outstanding grilled Caesar salads, each big enough for two; and delicious red snapper, lamb bolognese pasta, and short rib entrees. Our server Mimi provided friendly, well-informed, and careful service. We all remarked on the great evening. The nearby Four Vagabonds bar looks cozy and romantic, with an intriguing small plates menu we look forward to trying next time.

    What a joke Clara’s Table is ! A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT, when we pulled up in the parking lot the lot was basically empty , first “ Red Flag “ ! This was an “ Easter Brunch “ for $90 a head ! First off the waitress ( the restaurant had maybe 8 full tables ) , took her sweet time getting to the table . You have to pay extra for , bacon , sausage etc.. I ordered Eggs Benedict and it was lukewarm , I sent it back and it was also lukewarm , topped with liquid cheese ! The other person I was with ordered a Cesar’s Salad and it was Red leaf lettuce with , just big pieces of lettuce thrown on a plate with some dressing drizzled over it , that was not even Cesar’s dressing ! The Prime Rib was fat and tough ! This was billed as a Buffet and they had three small tables , the omelet table with the prime rib next to it ! A small fruit table and a desert table with stale croissant’s and less then average pastries ! Plus the coffee was lukewarm poured from thermal carafes . I was going to get a Mimosa but it was $30 ! The Dearborn Inn used to have good food and service ! This is part of the Marriott’s Autograph Collection , what a joke ! A pile of lettuce and egg’s Benedict with , liquid cheese on top of it , is not worth $90 a head ! This Restaurant is no Farm to table , as it bills itself !
