Food was excellent, waitstaff was very kind and accommodating to make our anniversary dinner enjoyable and special. There were some gaps between service that made our time there a bit longer than was necessary., but overall a very pleasant experience.

We were celebrating our anniversary. Our server, Michael, and other staff members were very attentive and helpful but were not intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will be returning.

We used to dine at Edison’s frequently before the Inn was closed for renovations. The food was always expertly prepared and served hot. The current menu is quite limited, and was disappointing. We appreciate that the Inn has not been open long. On Saturday, our dinners tasted very good, however, our food was not served hot. Appetizer plates and silverware were removed prior to dinner, but we had to ask for more silverware when our dinners were served. We thought the menu was very overpriced for the size of the entrees. Also, the dessert was mediocre and definitely overpriced. We also missed the very experienced staff who were at Edison’s prior to the renovations. We will return sometime and hopefully Clara’s Table will reflect Dearborn Inn’s high standards.

We had met friends here hoping for a stellar meal. They were “out of” one of the entrees ordered at 6pm. We settled on the pot pie which we wanted from the appetizer as we are small eaters. However, they made it into a dinner portion instead and charged accordingly. It was just passable is all I can say as not even very hot! Service was ok but took a very long time to get our food. Very expensive dinner for very mediocre food.

Was excited to see the newly renovated Dearborn Inn. Some of it very nice. Some of it, like the overhead lighting in the lobby, garish. Menu at Clara’s was limited and wordy. Food was just ok, chocolate cake excellent. Service was mediocre; server forgot a soft drink, even though we asked, twice, only partial table of waters refilled. Interesting choice of maybe/dusty rose at Clara’s. Other decor just beautiful

Very good food, but menu was pretentious and very overpriced. Only a few couples in restaurant on a Friday night. Limited options. Chef and management might want to reconsider menu. As it is, decent food but horrible value. Also $18 wine and $10 draft? I've owned multiple restaurants, and if I ever saw a need for retooling, this is it. Great facility but abjectly mediocre.

We had great food and friendly service for our second visit back since the re-opening of the historic Dearborn Inn. Glad that this landmark facility in Dearborn is back in service !
