Our experiences, and there are many at Clam Diggers have been fantastic. From sitting on the large deck overlooking the river to sitting inside each time has been lovely. The food is consistently fantastic! And the staff is very polite and accommodating, always!

We will continue to travel from Charlottetown to experience these experiences, summer or winter.

Overall i and my friends enjoyed dining in this restaurant. I have been there many times.
I guess that it was a bad day due to lack of staffing.
The owner seemed to have 3 duties. That of busser , waitresses and cook.
The only other waitresses, our waitresses, complained about having to sanitize the tables rather than give us the best of service that I am used to at this establishment.
The food was presented beautifully however speaking for myself my plate, the fish and my potatoes were cold. The fish tho was tender, moist, and cooked perfectly. It was breaded well and fried very lightly. Not tough frying like at other restaurants.
I will be going back but the next time I will send my plate back if it and the food is cold.

We were very pleased with our meal at Clamdiggers. The food was extraordinary and the price was very reasonable considering the quality of the food. We will definitely be back!

I had a fabulous birthday dinner at Clamdiggers. The service was excellent, I enjoyed my curry mussel chowder and my dining companion enjoyed her seafood chowder. We split the fried seafood platter which was just the right amount. The only minor complaint is that the home made tartar sauce settles in it's little container and you don't figure that out until you hit the bottom and find all the flavor and pickles, etc. lol Up until that point I thought they just didn't make very good tartar sauce. So lesson learned... stir your tartar sauce lol. Would definitely come back again.

Wonderful atmosphere for spending time with friends. Great service!! Delicious food! Perfectly cooked salmon highly recommended. Their bread pudding was the best ever!!

I had the special - Thanksgiving turkey dinner. Appetizer- squash soup was excellant. Dinner - very good. Would have preferred home made cranberry sauce and more fresh cooked vegetables. Dessert - pumpkin cheesecake was very good. Would have preferred the traditional pumpkin pie. Overall it was very good.

Loved the chowder made with mussels and curry. My husband enjoyed the other other one without the curry. Our entrées were tasty. The service was the usual happy combination of PEI friendliness and attentiveness. Everyone socially distanced and so the restaurant was not crowded. It was our first restaurant meal since the lockdown and it was a great restaurant to choose for this treat. I highly recommend!

We ate here twice for dinner. Food was great. Seafood was fresh. Service was excellent. Food came out fast, fresh and hot. Would recommend this place if looking for some fresh seafood.

Service was extremely slow for a Wednesday evening. It was evident there was a staff shortage as our waitress was serving three tables of six individuals each who had arrived very close together. We had reservations and assume the other two tables did as well because they were together seated at two tables because of the number of them. Our waitress was excellent! She smiled and maintained her professionalism throughout the evening. My steak was overcooked and she immediately took corrective action and adjusted the bill. All other meals were excellent. We consider the staff shortage and overcooked steak an anomaly and would definitely return.

Great local establishment with some great seafood selections! Covid rules being followed - food was delicous. Restaurant was chosen because it’s gluten FREE! Yippee!!

Clamdiggers is without a doubt the best seafood restaurant on PEI. Our server Jen was excellent! The food is always consistent and the seafood fresh and cooked perfectly!

Quiet place to eat and enjoy the beautiful scenery plus chat among yourselves.
The service was excellent, our waitress was friendly, polite and very professional.
The food was so fresh and well prepared it must have been caught the same day.
The portion size was just right for me and the others in our party.
Highly recommend this restaurant especially for seafood but everything there is tasty....

Restaurant was nice . Food was satisfactory. Steak sandwich was very dry and no flavour . Seafood chowder was delicious.

Our server was efficient and charming BUT we were very surprised that non of the servers were wearing masks...and we were seated inside.

Our experience was great. Service was very efficient and very friendly. Lots of choices in the menu and our choices were delicious. View out over the water was beautiful. I would definitely recommend it and would definitely go back.

Excellent local food in a beautiful setting! We ate at Clam Diggers twice during our week-long stay in PEI and enjoyed the fresh local seafood and the excellent service. Highly recommended!

Great local dining spot

Good food, good service, and atmosphere. A little pricey for a large family.

Varied menu w pastas and usual grilled options, but we most often go for the deep fried clams, scallops and haddock a couple times each summer. Fresh fish, with a very light breaded coating, and cooked well Every time. Served with excellent PEI fries and a nice crunchy coleslaw on the side. It can be busy if you go at 6:30-7pm so expect the servers to be stretched a bit but they hustle about and get you what you need in reasonable timeframes even during the peak. Gorgeous view of Cardigan Wharf and marina from a few tables.

The food and ambiance were super.

The attention of the servers was great but we were very disappointed they were not wearing masks. Any restaurant we had been in previous to this one had been wearing masks. They should be required to do so.

This is one of our favourite places to eat on PEI. After being outed up with COVID-19 it was great to get out in the real world again. Food was great and continues to be best seafood on the Island. Always fresh, well prepared and served with a smile!

We were here 2 nights in a row-1st night everything exceptional! Service 2nd night very slow!

On a hot, sunny summers day there are few dining spots equal to the deck overlooking the Cardigan River. The menu was varied and everything that our group had was excellent.
