Our service was great. Our server was working hard yet so pleasant. Many people stepped in to ask if we needed anything. We enjoyed our time sharing a meal there.
They were out of ribs, did not have any warm dessert options and the restaurant was very cold as if the heat was off.
Not many customers. Could have turned the heat higher. We wore out coats while we ate.
It was freezing in the restaurant. We had to keep our coats on.
New Year’s Eve had reservations but had to wait. Ordered the LTO turkey dinner and sent it back after it tasted like vinegar. The zucchini were soggy inside. Had to go to the bar myself for a drink refill because i waitress was nowhere to be found. Very disappointed. And to top it off the hostess is rude and very unpleasant
My husband and I went to dinner at Claim Jumpers on New Year’s Eve. Though we had reservations we ended up waiting almost 1/2 an hour past the time because the hostess was told not to seat anyone else. As we arrived 25 minutes early, and everyone else waiting was seated but us, it would have been professional, and courteous, to let us know that. However, when we finally did get seated we had a terrific server named Hector. He was very personable, gave wonderful suggestions when we asked and stayed on top of all of his tables even though he said he was new. You would not have known that based on his fluidity between tables and his ease of communicating with us. The food was delicious and served expediently. We ended the night with a wonderful caramel pecan dessert and grateful for our time at CJ!
out of most wings and some miedo drinks.
Tri tip prospect perfectly prepared, can't go wrong with the Lobster Mac and cheese
Everyone’s food except mine was good. I ordered a tri-tip dinner and it was horrible.
Prices have gone thru the roof. Staffing issues caused major delay in getting food. Some menu items were unavailable.... even one of the tequila drinks. Food was great but WAY overpriced. It is off the list of places to eat for special occasions.
Great service and food. We sat under the Antlers.
I have been going to this place for at least a decade. They use to have a larger menu and larger portions. They have condensed the menu and the portions are smaller. Some of my favorite items are no longer on the menu. They were out of cheese burgers at 7:00 on Sunday. I ordered the Tri Tip Dip and my son ordered the Meat loaf Sandwich. Both items were good. Service was good. The place isn't what it use to be but it was still good.
Pricy, undercooked food and poor service. Waiter/bartender/magician (disappearing act) was hard to find. Never offered desert. Beer was flat and tasteless (corona and miller lite) on tap. I couldn’t believe to price of steaks. Jeez! The menu was much smaller than in the past. Some of their better dishes are gone from the menu. No real reason to go back.
I hope Claim Jumper can resolve staffing and supply chain issues because we like this restaurant and made a special trip for lunch. Very surprised to learn they were completely out of alcohol and unable to make ANY of their specialty cocktails that we were looking forward to trying. Only basic drinks could be made.
Generally I like this restaurant, however last night was an exception. We were sat next to a large party, that was quite loud, and our waitress was so distracted by them that she literally forgot to bring out our food. By the time we got our food, my food was so cold that I just asked for a box to take it home, to heat it up there. She also forgot my husband’s drink from the bar - which apparently didn’t have all the right ingredients, so they never even made the drink. Our waitress never corrected any of the issues. At one point she said that it was unacceptable and would tell the manager but then still no resolutions. I also ordered the dessert (berry butter cake - which is the best!) but it was also cold. I also had to take that to go so I could heat it later. I just ate the ice cream. Our waitress apologized and said that she was sorry for the dessert, the shrimp, and the drinks, and “hopefully next time you come in, it’ll be better.” I’m not sure there will be a next time.
No wait for our table. Food was good. Type of cocktails and wine was limited. Service was great.
Hostess seated us against the windows in the bar where it was very cold. Our server asked if we’d like to move when he saw us putting our coats back on. Every server in the bar area commented on how cold it was by the windows so why didn’t the hostess know? Food was room temperature when served. Roasted Vegetables were cold and server replaced with a new one but it was basically carrots and onions with 5 pieces of zucchini. I had the grilled shrimp which was over cooked. I don’t think I’ll be back again for a while.
Had a delicious salad while lunching yesterday. Service was great
The service was on point and the food delicious. I love going to this restaurant.
Love this place
Our favorite restaurant. Love the ambiance here, Service is great, food is excellent.
Main problem was that Claim Jumper did not have our reservation even tho I had a confirmation from Open Table. They were able to seat us anyway but it was frustrating. They said this has happened before.
The food and service were fantastic. We really liked the entree selection for Thanksgiving dinner. It was so nice to have the 3 courses without having to have turkey or ham. We were seated in the bar area and our only complaint was that it was drafty and we were cold. I may have been comfortable if I kept my coat on but it's not the way I prefer to eat.
First of all our reservation was for 2:30 PM on Thanksgiving day and when we got there, they were out of half of the drinks that were supposed to be special drinks for the day! My son ordered the salmon and it was luke warm and dry… my husband and I and our other son ordered the ham and it was just OK. I expected it to be off the bone and it was not. It was a huge disappointment and most definitely not worth the expense. I will not book here again.
Great food, great prices, great service!
Supply Chain issues affecting Claim Jumper quite extensively.
How? All wines (yes all) were out of stock, limited beer selections.
Three food items out of stock. Food when served was slightly warm.
I've had better service here, tonight was not one of them. Will try again.
Understand Claim Jumpers was recently acquired by Kelly Group. KG Group
really needs to step-up here.
Lemon pepper zucchini app was delicious as was salmon oscar
This was perfect! It was quiet at this time so my grandfather and I were able to talk and he could hear us. The food as always was delicious and well priced. I always this place is underrated and a secret 🤫 great place for food!
Went with husband and parents for mom's birthday celebration. I got the chicken pot pie and it was excellent. I hadn't been to Claim Jumper in years. The crust and chicken were warm and fresh, the gravy very tasty. Husband got the turkey dinner which he enjoyed, very plentiful. Dad got shrimp pasta which had a bunch of shrimp and pasta looked very yummy. Mom got the scallops with bacon - she enjoyed them, although it was only 3 which seemed a little low on the scallops. The service was good, and the ambience was very nice. The prices were reasonable, we spent a bit over $100 with tip for 4 people to dine so not bad at all. Would recommend. We all. had a good time!
The food was awful. We use to come here before the pandemic and the food was great. We were excited to come back. Unfortunately were very disappointed. The onion strings took a bit to come out but that wasn’t a big deal but I picked some up with a fork to eat it and after I bit through it I realized in the mix I grabbed, the batter was not cooked in the middle. I quickly spit it into a napkin. The garlic bread appetizer was just two pieces of bread cut in half, buttered, grilled on the top half and the bottom was not touched. Served with cold marinara. My food was the grilled cheese but it was burnt and hard to bite through, we paid for bacon and tomatoes on it and the bacon was barely cooked and there was 1 slice of tomato in it. My daughters Caesar salad tasted like mayo with lemon squeezed on it. On the bright side it wasn’t busy so we felt comfortable eating in here. Now we know why they weren’t busy.
Haven't been here for quite awhile. Great service. Food was really good. There were 10 of us for a family birthday so quite a group but our server was right on top of things. Definitely will return soon.
Great food! Server was very friendly. Definitely recommend a reservation as others were told very long wait times without a reservation.
It was great Taylor our server was great
Bread was not served
Hostess said due to covid ?
Food not exceptional but many choices
the service and the food was great I will continue to eat there
My husband had pick two, chicken and Tri tips, not much of quality. Cold slaw, was dry. My Pot Pie was great. The prices were to high for the quality!
First time ever we dined at Claim Jumper - the food was a good value for the $ and delicious. Our server was pleasant and the overall service was great. My ONLY negative was it’s rather bright in there. Dimming the lights a tad would make the atmosphere a bit cozier. :)
Very disappointed from the last time we went The portions were half the size and the price was $18 for the pot pie which you would be better off going to Sam's club and picking one up and it tastes better how do you change a signature dish into this little bowl very disappointed
