Claim Jumper - Tukwila
It took a while for someone to come to the front desk to greet and seat us even though we had reservations.
Otherwise, the service and food was top-notch.
IT WAS VERY GOOD ALL THE WAY AROUND. OUR WAITRESS WAS ON TOP OF ALL OUR NEEDS. HAD THE NEW BACON,LOBSTER BLT. AWSOME......
The staff was fried ice and helpful. The food was tasty hot delicious and the presentation was everything
Thanks for caring
Had reservations set for Mother's Day Brunch at 11:15am since we had a party of 6. First time eating out as a family with 4 children in the past 18 months. Was seated promptly by staff which was great but then waited for 15-20 before being contacted by the server. Wasn't welcoming at all and but took our order at that time. Another 15-20 minutes later we started seeing our beverages for the 5 of us arrive. While waiting on the remaining drink for my daughter the sever didn't stop by at all. Took a total of 45 mins from time of ordering our food to getting it to our table, and still no sign of our original server and having to request the missing drink. Food quality was disappointing as well this morning, nothing like our experiences we had in the past at this location. Items like butter and syrup for the pancakes were not brought out when the food arrived, offering toast but no jam/jellies, and not asking if we needed anything else like ketchup. For my wife a mother of 4 was not the way she was wanting to start her day.
Food was great and server was as well!
Will go there again
We went for a nice Mother’s Day brunch and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent and portions were large. Made us remember how much we liked Claim Jumper and we will definitely be back for dinner very soon.
Mother's Day brunch was horrible. It was like the were not prepared at all. It took 45 minutes from when we ordered to get our food. Servers disappeared.
Food was inedible. The eggs were horribly overcooked. They barely put any hollandaise sauce on my husband's eggs Benedict and the fruit side was 95pct melon.
Despite making a 6:30pm reservation, we weren’t seated until 20 minutes later. The food was just ok. I remember better specials on the menu from years ago.
The food was ok. Main course was good but the dessert was stale and service was horrible. We won't be going back.
The food was amazing. Stuffed potatoes were the best I've ever had. The only issues we had were,
Parking is difficult. The table we were at there so no light so we couldn't even see the menu to read it. I had to break out my phones flashlight. We were sat next to a large family gathering with a bunch of kids. We were on a date night so it would be nice to sit couples away from famlies. We done out with hiss I know it's hard that's why mine were at home. The server was busy with the large table so the runners were the ones to serve us and check on us even if they didn't follow through with our needs like a drink refill. We had a reservation and booked a week ahead to insure a table. I like that reservations are an option but feel I would have gotten a better table if id walked in on the spot.
Love Claim Jumper but this time the food was just OK. Temperature was cool to luke warm. I got my favorite the tri
tip prospector and the chicken was not what it’s supposed to be.... I just got a plain chicken breast. Really disappointed because the only reason I order the tri tip prospector is for the chicken it’s supposed to come with. 4 of us ordered drinks and they were all very bland. Don’t know why this time was so different with the food and drinks. Hoping they were just having an off night.
Made a reservation, but when we got there, they said it was going to be about 20 minutes wait for a table... What's the point of making a reservation???
We ended up sitting in the bar area with 1 waiter who had the whole bar... and was quite slow. Also was not very good at keeping track of who sat down first, taking orders from 2 different tables that came in AFTER we did before taking our order.
Doubt I need to go back... ever.
after a year of not going out we decided to take our son and his family to dinner. We picked the Claim Jumper because it would have something for everyone. Not only was the food just ok ,it was delivered wrong and the waitress was rude the whole time. Not just once but several times. will not be going back.
We are always amazed at how GOOD the food is at Claim Jumper - their shtick was always the massive portions, but damn they know how to cook a steak!
Have never had a bad steak at the Claim Jumper - they have the Choice Menu and the Prime Menu - the steaks off the Prime Menu are phenomenal but even off the Choice Menu they are better than what you would get from places like Outback steak house or Dead Lobster - at comparable prices
Good service, great food. Good portions. Felt safe with spaced seating.
Service and food amazing as always. Thank you
The appetizer zucchini strips were very good, but a little pricey. My husband had the tri tip which he enjoyed. I had the farm house burger which was only ok. I asked for Swiss cheese and told they didn’t have it. The bun did not hold up and became flat and soggy.
Food was terrible and service!
Went for lunch. Food was good, service was friendly and prompt. Sides are generous portions.
I had a reservation and my table wasn’t ready and the hostess wanted us to sit our selves in the lounge where there was no tables available and when I went back she made me wait 4 more minutes to go clean and find a table when I should of had a table ready for our 2 person reservation. Then she came back and put us at at a table that she removed the non-available sticker off of and sat us there next to a 8-10 top of people who were just showing up to their party and talking loudly and right next to us I could hear everything they were saying and alimony touch their table. My child was so uncomfortable that I had I go talk to the manager who was super quick and helpful and moved us right away but it was embarrassing having to move in the first place on Easter when u just want to eat a nice dinner with your child. Then we ordered and the pot pie is terrible and not what it used to be at all and very disappointed with quality of food. The service was ok and the manager was great but won’t be choosing this as a place to go anymore , sorry ...
Food quality was not what it’s been before and our waiter was almost nonexistent
From the moment we stepped in the restaurant, it was a disaster.
The waitress at the front churching us in did not seem to find our reservation we made for Easter brunch months in advance and didn’t seem to care. She just shrugged and showed my large group to a small cramped table. Asked her for a high chair for my baby and something a little bigger to accommodate us and she mumbled and grumbled about the high chair being in her way and said the baby would have to sit down in a booth. The waitress reluctantly showed us to a larger table and we had to sit the baby down at the table. Five minutes later she brings out a high chair which I was confused because she previously said we couldn’t have a high chair.
I realized later until we sat down and finally looked at the menu that the waitress brought us the wrong menu. It was supposed to be for Easter Brunch. Finally flagged the waitress down and asked for the EatStreet Brunch menu. She then said they don’t do Easter brunch anymore and haven’t for quite a while. I said that was odd because it said so in their website and I made the reservation specifically for the Easter Brunch online with Open Table with a note specifying that it was for Easter Brunch. The waitress left to go grab us drip coffee which was cold and stale. She brought back cream for the coffee and placed it in front of my baby who promptly grabbed it and spilled the creamer all over her brand new Easter Dress, freshly ironed and cleaned.
The waitress came back and said that they had Easter Bruch that day from 8am to 11am. I said then why did your website and online reservation system say the Easter Brunch was from 10am to 1pm and it only let me book it at that time because the restaurant and isn’t even open at 8am.. Also, five minutes previous she just said they didn’t have Easter Brunch anymore but then came back saying they did and it was over already. She brought the menu over and said they would still make it for us. We decided to leave bl
Server was assigned too many tables to provide adequate service. Food is poor quality.
Maybe it's due to pandemic cutbacks, but this aging location has trash blowing around outside and neglected landscaping. Hostess was nice and food was good. Waitress was not very professional, and not listening or paying attention to details. So a mixed experience, with good food.
The customer service was stellar
We ordered the prime porterhouse and strip. They were cooked perfectly. We just don't like steaks served on cat iron plates, as the steaks continue to cook and you have to worry about being yourself.
Went in for dinner before dropping our friend off at the airport. Drinks were great, my burger was excellent and the doneness was a perfect medium. Our friend got the lobster mac, good mac and cheese only complaint with that is there was barely any lobster in it. It was a 15/85 ratio of lobster to mac and cheese.
What really threw the dinner off was my wife's Nashville chicken sandwich. She has a raw egg allergy, so aioli cannot be on her food. We requested this with the waitress, but when the food arrived the sandwich had the aioli on it. We pointed this out, the food was sent back. When it came out again it was just a fried chicken breast on a bun, no pickles, no hot sauce. We suspect someone put the re-fire in with a "plain" modifier for the kitchen. Also not what my wife ordered. At this point my wife is hungry so she ate the sandwich, but we pointed out the issue with the waitress. The manager came to our table, promptly apologized, and comped the sandwich, our appetizer, and offered a free dessert.
Service wise for everything we are happy. Mistakes get made but they were more than willing to fix the issue in a polite way. If we go back though it will be for drinks, dessert, appetizers, and burgers. If you get anything other than these though I feel you are overpaying for your food.
We may be back , but it's not a place we will go out of our way for.
Date with my wife and daughter
The hostess was rude, waitstaff uninterested in providing even basic level service, and needed to be reminded multiple times for any request. Food came out cold, out of order, and quality was poor for the price.
The food was very greasy. Seemed to mostly breading in the chicken strips. Fries came out cold, but the server did bring us something fresh. Restaurant was very busy and there were long waits between service. For a chain restaurant... you're better off going somewhere else and it will probably be cheaper.
We waited about 10 minutes past our reservation, which was fine.
They seemed very disorganized.
We ordered cocktails and food.
Food came before salads. Had to remind them we had ordered salads.
We had to ask for flatware and napkins.
Drinks came after food.
I gave 3 stars for service but our server was excellent.
I’ll go back just because the food is very good.
Waitress was brusque, impatient, and into mind-reading which didn’t work too well. I tipped accordingly.
Service was adequate and they allowed us to stay and visit longer than we should have.
Ordered the New York Strip medium rare. It showed up un-trimmed and very fatty, fairly tough. It was below choice grade. The steak was not cooked properly either. Now I will say that the service was outstanding and instead of giving me replacement steak they gave me an entire new meal. They were quick to try and make things right. That impressed me. The steak, however, even the replacement steak was sub par for the price.
Waitstaff was attentive but not obtrusive. It was a good experience!
The waitress we had was great. The food was delicious! Loved the zucchini and cauliflower. Sauce a bit too hot for me, but had it on the side anyway; really good with Ranch.
Food was great however the service was just okay we ordered drinks and appetizers as well as dinner our appetizers and dinner all came out at the same time and our dinner was missing sides we had to ask for. I mean it was a pretty busy night but just wish service was better food was fantastic!
Outstanding service. And...the birthday cake...yum!
The appetizers were outstanding, we had the Zucchini and calamari. My steak was lacking in seasoning but over all good, the ribs excellent. The lobster BLT was just ok, nothing special and the same for the chicken salad. Drinks were very good.
Amazing. Our go to every time we are on the dark side
