Claim Jumper - Tukwila
My wife and I have been to Clam Jumpers prior to this time, the reason we came back. The service was week and food was poor at best. I ordered prime rib, medium rare, and it was like eating rubber bands. The calamari was over-breaded and over cooked. My wife ordered coconut shrimp that was ok, but she’s has had better.
This was meant to be a 19th wedding anniversary dinner. I regret to say, I’m extremely disappointed considering I paid $120 (plus tip) for fast food quality.
First time doing the brunch. The waiter was not very attentive to us. The lady doing the carve station was not very friendly. She seem to not like to make omelets and carve meat. The line was long for meat not an omelet and she made us wait til she was done with that and had to get utensils. Somewhere she lost the spatula.
Great service and food, the restaurant itself was not busy at all but the staff were very pleasant and attentive. I had a Customer dinner and they were very impressed and loved it.
Our experience at Claim Jumper is very good. The food is always good.
Some maintenance is very much needed in the restroom.
Sink fixtures and just the over all appearance around all the fixtures is nasty.
Great place. Fun atmosphere.
Claim Jumper used to be one of my favorite restaurants but service has gone down and food isn’t as tasty, or over the top like a few years ago.
This place used to be pretty good. Menu was fairly comprehensive and food always was good in past.
This time, service was okay. Food was poor quality. I had to pick out about a cup of brown (like dark brown, not even slightly okay) lettuce pieces from my salad. Salad was also described to have “grilled chicken”- instead there was cold lunch meat thrown on. The brunch food my daughter got looked like she got it from OCB- very poor quality, not tasty. Luckily the bar had bacon, so she ate that but $12 was a lot for some bacon. Fried mozzarella sticks was about the only good thing we had ordered- but how could you mess that up???
Overall, this place which used to be reliable for good food, good value and lots of choices really fell flat.
The food was terrible. 17 dollars for a burger. Dry. Overcooked. Left under lights too long. Cold meat. Hard mashed potatoes. Veggies steamed into mush.
The server was great but the food wad over priced and not fit to eat.
Was nice meal and good food
We came for dinner to celebrate our grandsons' birthday. We'd not been to this location before, but expected to find similar experience to the Alderwood location which we love. CJ has always had a reputation for large portions so when our dinners arrived to the table everyone was confused. Including the gentleman who delivered them. He didn't know the rib eye steaks, because, well, they didn't look like rib eyes. The filet was the smallest I'd ever seen. The kids pizzas were served in very hot pans. I asked the waitress for 2 dinner plates so we could transfer the pizzas to keep from burning the children. She brought me 2 salad plates which were smaller than the pizzas. When she brought the dessert cake we ordered for my grandson with the requested candles, they were not lit. It took another 15 minutes to get her to come back with a lighter. We felt like we were an annoyance to her. There are many restaurants in the Southcenter area. You must do better if you want to compete.
Food tasted good, but was a bit cold. The customer service left a lot to be desired. There was barely anyone else seated, yet we didn't really see our waitress much.
Made reservation - Still ended up waiting to be seated. Reservations were for 6 we were seated at 630. No point in making the reservation. We were a party of five seated at a booth for two. Space was extremely limited. We had my 4 year old and my 1 year old. We were seated by couples who complained the entire time to us about my children laughing and their noise level. All the food came at once. Salad bread appetizers and food. Again, the table was so small my husband and I had to take turns taking bites of our food as there was no space for us to move our arms to cut our food then place it in our mouths. The service and food here used to be great! Now I would describe it as .. eating at Red Robin or Applebee’s. We went to celebrate my husbands birthday. I let the staff know so we could sing happy birthday. At the end of our meal we got the check and didn’t see the wait staff again. So we left. We won’t be back and won’t recommend to friends and family. Next time we will head over to the cheese cake factory.
Not a large selection to choose from. Food was served from steam trays that were too full and spattered water when the lids were lifted. Serving utensils were left out on little plates.
I ordered the filet it was very tough, the service was rare and harsh.
Had made a reservation for 2. Arrived..., they put us at a table for 6-8 which made it hard to communicate without yelling. Besides being stuck between large groups of crying babies and adults competing to talk and laugh the loudest, it was definitely poor judgement to put a couple there.. had to move.. we got our soup and salad and about 1 minute later then our main dish showed up, no dressing for the salad, my empty salad plate stayed in Front me the whole meal... not once was my water refreshed... then I had to clean off my own table onto an empty tray that was left 2 feet from our table.... wow! Will not be back...
Had to send overcooked steak back and there was no problems to do so.
Food was good, but service was bad...not sure what was going on.
Dont know what happen to your food used to have variety now you all have red Robin will not go back will go to red Robin instead
Not friendly people, parking is to dark my car got broken in, glass was smashed
We ordered drinks. Then we ordered appetizers, salads and dinner. The salads came out. Then the appetizers and right away dinner. No drinks served yet. Would have liked to eat appetizers with drinks and then have salads and after they’ve gone, entrees. Salads were good. We didn’t care for the chicken fried steak. Breading easily came off and potatoes weren’t good. Server was pleasant. Olivia. Won’t be back. Plenty of good restaurants around
It was a early Saturday dinner, only a few other diners. The waitress, Amy was friendly but I felt uncomfortable after she asked for our drink order and none of us ordered drinks from the bar. It was my wife's birthday and she got the free cake with 4 extra forks. (there were 6 of us). When we requested separate plates, she indicated that she would bring them. After a long absence, she came back with out checks. The order for additional plates was renewed and once again she indicated that she would be bringing them. There appeared to be a buffet not far from our table so one of our party went to see if there were small plates. Finding none, she returned and another member of the party went in search of a server. That person, who was not our server, promptly came with cake plates. Amy returned for our checks and commented "oh, I see you got the plates". I know this is not the kind of review you will publish, but it is necessary to tell our story. I would recommend Claim Jumper to friends because the food is excellent and prices are competitive. I was just surprised by the level of service given that the servers did not appear to be very busy.
Even though we saw 2 large parties being served, or food was quick and delicious. Our server, Colby, was helpful and eager to make our experience good.
The food was good with many choices. The service was good. The bread was good.
Food prep left lots to be desired. Rib-eye was tough, french fries wilted, ice cream had ice flecks throughout.
Decided to take our out of town family to dinner. Our food wad quick and delicious. Our server Greg and Jamie were kind and helpful.
The food, service, and atmostphere are always good
You stuck his way in the back. Then you forgot us. I told you it was a birthday party for my 16 year old granddaughter. When herb birthday dessert came it was melted. And only one server came up to us to sing Happy Birthday. It took forever to even place an order. She kept forgetting things and having to come back to the table over and over because she forget things because she probably was too busy somewhere else because we were stuck way in the back.. although the server was quite funny and pleasant the whole experience was a sad ordeal. And you're too expensive for such crappy service spent over $100.
We brought Grandpa in for dinner while he was visiting from out of town. He loves meat and potatoes. Claim Jumper didn’t disappoint.
Not the same as the last time we were there.
The food was bad. Servings alot smaller then they used to be.
I had the macaroni and cheese as one of my sides and it tasted like Kraft deluxe. The sauce was runny and didn't taste like cheese. The asparagus was burnt and tasted like wood. The steak was a very cheap one. My steaks here at home are 100 times better then what they served.
Will never go back....
Worst service ever - took 35 minutes and three requests for water, waiter brought me wrong cocktail, took over 20 minutes to get correct drink, then charged me for both; neglected to place order for the soup or salad we ordered, suddenly our entrees appeared without soup or salad coming out; requested butter three times, never got it; waiter was polite but on his third day needed a whole lot more training
Booked our reservation for 8 for a 6:30pm dinner... check in was smooth and was about a 10 minute wait until our host got us too our table. Not bad. Majority of the issues were with the waitress, whether it be forgetting part of our meal and delivering it mid way through our dinner (Mac & cheese and sour cream) too bringing us our beers that where bottled and us having to take out a bottle opener from our key chains too open our own beer. Forgetting one of the beers until we were almost done... Then the kicker was when the waitress asked if we were all on one check in which we weren’t it was 3 separate checks..... she asked us if we could circle what we ordered so she could separate it.... what kind of service is that????? Nice establishment but waitress was scattered brained all over....
the service was very GOOD!!! I would join for a another Beautiful evening of again THANK-YOU.
The food was great, but our server was not so great
We had children with us making loud noises and you could tell she didn't like it
Food was amazing, service was great. i would recommend this place to anyone
I was to say the least, disappointed based on visits several years ago. We were greeted with "sit wherever you like" it was apparent that the waiter was not interested in servicing our party, to find out it was close to the end of his shift. He finally took our orders, never put the complete order in, never returned with the drinks. We now know why, looked out the window and he was entering his car to leave. Bad experience overall. When we left we overheard the same sentiments about the service or lack thereof. Last visit to this location for me or anyone that I know.
We made reservations and our table was ready about 10 minutes after the scheduled time (which was fine.) The restaurant was clean and open. Our server either needed assistance or training, as he was not timely, attentive or able to correctly get meals and drinks to us. We waited much longer than expected for drinks, refills, him to check back after the runners brought our food to see about mistakes or additional items needed, and our checks. The entire experience took about 35-40 minutes longer than it should have due to delays in waiting on the server. The food was good. Much too large of portions, but apparently that is their schtick. I don't know if we will go back, but it was a fine enough meal.
It was a long wait for drinks and again for food. The runner who brought out our entrees admitted, “I don’t know what this is” to one of the plates. Must be new?
The food was very tasty and there were a lot of options. The alcoholic drink prices could be a dollar or two cheaper but they were good. Save room for dessert!
Your desserts are spectacular. The salads were also excellent.
Overall it was a good dining experience. Food wasn’t bad and service was also on the better side.
