It was my 57th birthday! Didn’t feel celebrated at all.
Server started off great then between the cold vegetables, missing chives for the potato and the wrong information from Hostess to Server we just weren’t that thrilled. My drink seemed to a few extra minutes to arrive which if I know it was going to take that long I wouldn’t have ordered it. The server was busy at the end with a very large party next to us so we were going to pay at the hostess desk and the sever chases us down, runs our card and then sits there as we sign and fill out the gratuity. Just bizarre behavior. I don’t know if she even finished getting the order from the large party as she hunted us down.
We had a small family get-together for 6. The service was very good, the food, not that great. I have been going to Claim Jumpers for many years. It is not very consistent. Sometimes my meals are wonderful and sometimes not very good. This happened to be a not very good meal. I got the tri-tip dinner. The tri-tip wasn't flavorful at all. I asked for horseradish to help the flavor and the other 2 people who ordered tri-tip asked for some also. The worse part of the meal was the mac and cheese side dish, it had to be a box brand, and it was terrible. The vegetables were good. My friend had fish and chips. It had more batter than fish and was greasy.
Was very warm and uncomfortable in the restaurant, should have left. It was 100+ degrees outside so you should at least attempt to make some efforts to make it comfortable in the restaurant. Food was fine and waitress was friendly, but overall it was pretty miserable experience just because it was so hot inside and we couldn’t wait to leave.
Quality of food has really gone downhill in last ten years.
Wonderful as always
Was easy to get reservation and modify. Short wait for table and service was okay.
Pleasant, comfortable seating with a spacious feel. A big menu, well prepared food, friendly service. Good for couples, families, and groups.
One of the burgers ordered was wrong 😑 order came with things requested to leave off the burger and items that were supposed to be on it was missing from the burger , also ordered grilled chicken salad and the chicken was not grilled pieces of chicken instead it was sliced cold lunch meat and the lettuce was wilted and an old texture not crisp or crunchy fresh salad greens, it was Father’s Day so should have been better
Father’s Day. We had a great experience. Wasn’t busy, quiet part of the restaurant. Servers were very nice and attentive. Food was great!
Food was ok, I've had better food there before covid
Waffles were unexciting with minimal syrup and no whipped cream, resulting in a very dry meal when paired with the fried thinned chicken breast meat.
The meal could have easily been taken to a higher level with just a little bit of effort.
Seating to food time at restaurant opening was 35 minutes.
I took my Fiancé and our kids for a dinner celebrating her new job and we enjoyed it very much. The food was great, good drinks and the desert was excellent. We will definitely dine here again very soon.
Always a great experience
Food was so overpriced for the quality. I paid $5 extra for grilled chicken on my salad and it was literally lunch meat. Cold chunks of lunch meat set on top of the already very under impressive salad. The worst restaurant salad I can remember having. I’ve been to other claim jumpers and even the desserts were less good, ie chocolate cake was barely frosted/served straight from the fridge cold therefor dry. Server wasn’t bad just not very friendly. There were kids literally climbing over the tops of booths and just roaming around the restaurant which didn’t bother me as I was there with only my two kids but overall the food, service, and ambiance was definitely not worth the $100 dinner. I wouldn’t go back which was disappointing I had a great experience at the Las Vegas claim jumper so my expectations were that at least the food would be the same.
Good food and service, but being handicapped and having to walk to the very back of the restaurant to get to a table was very inconsiderate.
The food was delicious, prepared as requested, and service was excellent!
We tried a few new sandwich offerings on the menu and they were good. Service was just OK, a little slow, didn't check on us very often to see if we needed any drink refills. Large menu selection, but a little pricey. Good casual dining restaurant.
Took a while to get seated due to shift change. Once I ordered the food came really really fast and my chicken pot pie was delicious (oh, that crust).
I food was excellent, the server was outstanding ,gave her a good tip and her rating should be one of the best we have ever had there
Poor. Food was mediocre, server was very inattentive, restaurant was noisy. Food was over priced. I would definitely not recommend this place; keep on driving.
The manager was very appreciative of our visit and made sure we were taken care of.
Excellent customer service and food. Look forward to our next visit.
Our server, Marissa, was spectacular. With a large party to take care of, she still tended to my wife and I, refilling our drinks and checking back. Very super personality, and a superb multi-tasker also. A rare combination, I know, I've been a restaurant manager for 42 years before retiring last Dec.
The primary spice for everything was peppercorn, lots and lots of peppercorn. The menu did not mention this. My wife does not like much pepper and spent the meal wiping the pepper off everything.
food was very good, the service was great. Sara went out of her way to make our visit great.
I haven't been here in almost 15 years. But the food was still as amazing as I remembered it being. Really good/big menu. Reasonably priced with a great staff. And you have to try the chocolate cake. I don't even really like cake. But would go back just for that
We had a good old retired persons lunch with 7 attending. They took good care of us and the food was pretty fine.
Steaks were okay . My husband I tried a few new things which we didn’t like but no fault of the restaurant. The food was good but just not what we expected. GM came to our table personally and told us he had removed it from the bill. The waiter and GM were friendly, accommodating and attentive. We’ll give it another try.
Excellent food and outstanding service.
Best steak ever! Unfortunately, one steak came to table but had to wait 20 minutes for the other one to show up.
Margaritas were horrible - no flavor and little tequila.
Love the atmosphere but the music was way too loud - don't like to have to shout to the other person. Would like it to be more inviting for a nice quiet conversation -loud music makes it impossible.
Wait staff were excellent.
It took a while for someone to come to the front desk to greet and seat us even though we had reservations.
Otherwise, the service and food was top-notch.
Mothers day it was a zoo in there with a 2 hour wait. Reservations were made and I waited 5 minutes and were seated. Staff were friendly and waitress was amazing.
IT WAS VERY GOOD ALL THE WAY AROUND. OUR WAITRESS WAS ON TOP OF ALL OUR NEEDS. HAD THE NEW BACON,LOBSTER BLT. AWSOME......
The staff was fried ice and helpful. The food was tasty hot delicious and the presentation was everything
Thanks for caring
Had reservations set for Mother's Day Brunch at 11:15am since we had a party of 6. First time eating out as a family with 4 children in the past 18 months. Was seated promptly by staff which was great but then waited for 15-20 before being contacted by the server. Wasn't welcoming at all and but took our order at that time. Another 15-20 minutes later we started seeing our beverages for the 5 of us arrive. While waiting on the remaining drink for my daughter the sever didn't stop by at all. Took a total of 45 mins from time of ordering our food to getting it to our table, and still no sign of our original server and having to request the missing drink. Food quality was disappointing as well this morning, nothing like our experiences we had in the past at this location. Items like butter and syrup for the pancakes were not brought out when the food arrived, offering toast but no jam/jellies, and not asking if we needed anything else like ketchup. For my wife a mother of 4 was not the way she was wanting to start her day.
Food was great and server was as well!
Will go there again
We went for a nice Mother’s Day brunch and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent and portions were large. Made us remember how much we liked Claim Jumper and we will definitely be back for dinner very soon.
Mother's Day brunch was horrible. It was like the were not prepared at all. It took 45 minutes from when we ordered to get our food. Servers disappeared.
Food was inedible. The eggs were horribly overcooked. They barely put any hollandaise sauce on my husband's eggs Benedict and the fruit side was 95pct melon.
