Claim Jumper - Tukwila
We were celebrating my daughter's birthday, the service and food were excellent!! Thank you!!
The food was not phenominal for the price and service constantly forgot or messed up the orders.
Great Thanksgiving dinner! Despite the crowds, the servers were attentive and friendly. The food was great.
We had to wait 20 minutes for a reservation made for 3:30pm. My husband's 7 and 7 drink was one of the best he's had including the twist of lemon! Food was excellent with great selections and also with quick service. Waiter was also excellent even though extremely busy. The pumpkin and apple pie were just ok. Next time order pie from Sheris. Valet parking would be nice especially for over 60 and a sign showing where to check in if you have reservations because I was standing in a line that I wasn't even sure it was for until I talked to the attending person who showed me where I should have gone.
My food was cross contaminated with shell fish. They refused to admit that it had been. So I would not recommend if anyone has allergies. Other than having allergic reaction it was fine.
Great service and good selection for Thanksgiving! Glad I didn't have to cook and we got some left overs too
We had a great meal. Thanks to all who gave up their holiday.
Not cheap, but the food is great, and the portions are large. We always like coming here, but this is our first time for Thanksgiving. It was nice and easy!
I've been going to Claim Jumper for years, including for Thanksgiving dinner. I was somewhat disappointed this year. Portion sizes were noticeably smaller, and service was marginal at best. Both were a departure from my past experiences at Claim Jumper.
Overall solid experience taking my elderly mother for Thanksgiving brunch. The tables were all in use to accommodate very large parties so we were stuck with a booth, my mother is barely 5’ tall and hunched over from Parkinson’s so this was frustrating since the table and bench are both fixed in place but our waiter found a chair within moments which was great.
He really made the experience way better than it could have been, accommodating every request, including finding a rocks glass for her ice water so that the straw was in a usable position and she didn’t have to maneuver a big water glass.
The food was the usual fast casual, tasty and prepared as requested (my steak really was as close to still alive as possible, and the tri-tip was good quality). The menu was pretty limited, though I would have preferred one or two less entrees for some real appetizer/shareable side dish options, and I don’t understand why they didn’t just list the vegetarian option instead of having an entry that said to ask your waiter.
Overall I am appreciative for the great service and solid food, nice to be able to count on a classic chain to deliver a very nice family meal on a holiday.
We had our Queen's Luncheon at Claim Jumper and the service was excellent and timely. They made sure we stayed hydrated with our water and liquor and the food was delicious! I will always recommend Claim Jumper!
Still had to wait 30 min for a table.
Food took forever and over cooked
Couldn’t get refills of water or sodas/beer.
Seemed understaffed. Not a good evening out.
Some of the worst service I’ve had. Meal was slow, wrong and cold. I ordered a filet that was cold, potato, cold. Manager came by but never apologized. Server was slow. Will not go here again.
We drove over an hour to celebrate a milestone birthday at Claim Jumper Restaurant. The food was good and we might return if we're in the area again. Overall, the only
outstanding part of our experience was the service we received from the Claim Jumper staff.
We had a going away for our co-worker and it was perfect. We loved where we were seated as we could converse, be a little loud ourselves, and not bother other guests. The service was excellent and so were the appetizers we ordered. Thank you so much.
generally good, but service slow to take our orders
My wife and I have been to Clam Jumpers prior to this time, the reason we came back. The service was week and food was poor at best. I ordered prime rib, medium rare, and it was like eating rubber bands. The calamari was over-breaded and over cooked. My wife ordered coconut shrimp that was ok, but she’s has had better.
This was meant to be a 19th wedding anniversary dinner. I regret to say, I’m extremely disappointed considering I paid $120 (plus tip) for fast food quality.
First time doing the brunch. The waiter was not very attentive to us. The lady doing the carve station was not very friendly. She seem to not like to make omelets and carve meat. The line was long for meat not an omelet and she made us wait til she was done with that and had to get utensils. Somewhere she lost the spatula.
Great service and food, the restaurant itself was not busy at all but the staff were very pleasant and attentive. I had a Customer dinner and they were very impressed and loved it.
Our experience at Claim Jumper is very good. The food is always good.
Some maintenance is very much needed in the restroom.
Sink fixtures and just the over all appearance around all the fixtures is nasty.
Great place. Fun atmosphere.
Claim Jumper used to be one of my favorite restaurants but service has gone down and food isn’t as tasty, or over the top like a few years ago.
This place used to be pretty good. Menu was fairly comprehensive and food always was good in past.
This time, service was okay. Food was poor quality. I had to pick out about a cup of brown (like dark brown, not even slightly okay) lettuce pieces from my salad. Salad was also described to have “grilled chicken”- instead there was cold lunch meat thrown on. The brunch food my daughter got looked like she got it from OCB- very poor quality, not tasty. Luckily the bar had bacon, so she ate that but $12 was a lot for some bacon. Fried mozzarella sticks was about the only good thing we had ordered- but how could you mess that up???
Overall, this place which used to be reliable for good food, good value and lots of choices really fell flat.
The food was terrible. 17 dollars for a burger. Dry. Overcooked. Left under lights too long. Cold meat. Hard mashed potatoes. Veggies steamed into mush.
The server was great but the food wad over priced and not fit to eat.
Was nice meal and good food
We came for dinner to celebrate our grandsons' birthday. We'd not been to this location before, but expected to find similar experience to the Alderwood location which we love. CJ has always had a reputation for large portions so when our dinners arrived to the table everyone was confused. Including the gentleman who delivered them. He didn't know the rib eye steaks, because, well, they didn't look like rib eyes. The filet was the smallest I'd ever seen. The kids pizzas were served in very hot pans. I asked the waitress for 2 dinner plates so we could transfer the pizzas to keep from burning the children. She brought me 2 salad plates which were smaller than the pizzas. When she brought the dessert cake we ordered for my grandson with the requested candles, they were not lit. It took another 15 minutes to get her to come back with a lighter. We felt like we were an annoyance to her. There are many restaurants in the Southcenter area. You must do better if you want to compete.
Food tasted good, but was a bit cold. The customer service left a lot to be desired. There was barely anyone else seated, yet we didn't really see our waitress much.
Made reservation - Still ended up waiting to be seated. Reservations were for 6 we were seated at 630. No point in making the reservation. We were a party of five seated at a booth for two. Space was extremely limited. We had my 4 year old and my 1 year old. We were seated by couples who complained the entire time to us about my children laughing and their noise level. All the food came at once. Salad bread appetizers and food. Again, the table was so small my husband and I had to take turns taking bites of our food as there was no space for us to move our arms to cut our food then place it in our mouths. The service and food here used to be great! Now I would describe it as .. eating at Red Robin or Applebee’s. We went to celebrate my husbands birthday. I let the staff know so we could sing happy birthday. At the end of our meal we got the check and didn’t see the wait staff again. So we left. We won’t be back and won’t recommend to friends and family. Next time we will head over to the cheese cake factory.
Not a large selection to choose from. Food was served from steam trays that were too full and spattered water when the lids were lifted. Serving utensils were left out on little plates.
I ordered the filet it was very tough, the service was rare and harsh.
Had made a reservation for 2. Arrived..., they put us at a table for 6-8 which made it hard to communicate without yelling. Besides being stuck between large groups of crying babies and adults competing to talk and laugh the loudest, it was definitely poor judgement to put a couple there.. had to move.. we got our soup and salad and about 1 minute later then our main dish showed up, no dressing for the salad, my empty salad plate stayed in Front me the whole meal... not once was my water refreshed... then I had to clean off my own table onto an empty tray that was left 2 feet from our table.... wow! Will not be back...
Had to send overcooked steak back and there was no problems to do so.
Food was good, but service was bad...not sure what was going on.
Dont know what happen to your food used to have variety now you all have red Robin will not go back will go to red Robin instead
Not friendly people, parking is to dark my car got broken in, glass was smashed
We ordered drinks. Then we ordered appetizers, salads and dinner. The salads came out. Then the appetizers and right away dinner. No drinks served yet. Would have liked to eat appetizers with drinks and then have salads and after they’ve gone, entrees. Salads were good. We didn’t care for the chicken fried steak. Breading easily came off and potatoes weren’t good. Server was pleasant. Olivia. Won’t be back. Plenty of good restaurants around
It was a early Saturday dinner, only a few other diners. The waitress, Amy was friendly but I felt uncomfortable after she asked for our drink order and none of us ordered drinks from the bar. It was my wife's birthday and she got the free cake with 4 extra forks. (there were 6 of us). When we requested separate plates, she indicated that she would bring them. After a long absence, she came back with out checks. The order for additional plates was renewed and once again she indicated that she would be bringing them. There appeared to be a buffet not far from our table so one of our party went to see if there were small plates. Finding none, she returned and another member of the party went in search of a server. That person, who was not our server, promptly came with cake plates. Amy returned for our checks and commented "oh, I see you got the plates". I know this is not the kind of review you will publish, but it is necessary to tell our story. I would recommend Claim Jumper to friends because the food is excellent and prices are competitive. I was just surprised by the level of service given that the servers did not appear to be very busy.
Even though we saw 2 large parties being served, or food was quick and delicious. Our server, Colby, was helpful and eager to make our experience good.
The food was good with many choices. The service was good. The bread was good.
