Claim Jumper - Tucson
We made reservations and waited only about 15 minutes to be seated. My son ordered a new steak on the menu and it was absolutely delicious. We have had a tough time finding good places to eat in Tucson, but when we visit again we will be sure to come back here.
Great dinning experience for our celebration. Outstanding food, beverage and service. We will definitely be back!

Even though I reserved a table, we waited 23 minutes to be seated. I was told twice that they had to clean a table. The staff seemed to be confused as to what to do. It wasn't about social distancing because the area we were finally seated had only one table in use. Service was good, but extremely slow. The food, however was excellent.
Service was excellent! Disappointed they did not have a gluten free bun!

The service was slow and it was quite a bit more money compared to say Texas Roadhouse but the food was good the place was clean it took like 15 min after we were seated to get a waiter to even get the drinks then it took him another ten min to come back for the order and it was not busy at all
Love taking the family here. They're usually on point and probably one of the better places to eat in Tucson.
ordered the blacked chicken black bow tie tortellini. The chicken was scarce and when you did happened onto it, it was so super thin it was like lunch meat.
Manager was awesome. I made reservations for bday party and they set us at bar tables and bartender was too busy to do a good job. Couldn’t get drink refills and she wasn’t attentive. Food was not like it used to be. Blackened chicken was salty and not blackened, my husbands rib eye looked gray not medium rare, my son in laws pizza had no cheese and looked like from a box. 2 boys had burgers n were fine I guess. Won’t have to go there again. No wonder ours in Cali closed down... bummer
I've been coming to Claim Jumper since it first opened here in Tucson. My daughter was a hostess here back then and became a trainer that traveled around the country and prepared the staff at new openings. I'm sure she would be disappointed at how far this operation has declined in terms of attention to details. Claim Jumper has the reputation of being overpriced but they have always made up for this with excellent service and by leaving you with the impression that the high price was worth it with in terms of the overall experience. Unfortunately this is no longer the case.
We picked the wrong day for lunch. There was a large noisy group in the room -- I don't know how they could meet without more corona virus precautions. We had three servers at different times. Lunch took 1.5 hours in all. I received one serving of beverage in all that time. The food was good, but portions were huge, really too much for lunch. The restaurant computer was unable to access the Landry rewards system, so I had to prove we had a reward coming by using my phone (I had never logged into my account on my phone and had to guess the password).
Food was only lukewarm at best when it came to table. We weren’t upset, just not overly pleased with food. Service was a little off also, but given the circumstances of how restaurants have to temporarily operate, it was understandable. I had family come into town and since I have had very good previous experiences at this location, it was a no-brainer to have dinner here. The experience just wasn’t what I typically expect and left a lot to be desired.
We had a wonderful time at dinner. Our waitress was fantastic!!! They only have a limited menu at the time (i really wanted the 1/2 chicken, but they only had chicken breast, that is why i gave them a 4 in food, quality was great!). We had a wonderful time as a family. Remember to ask for salt as there is none at the table!

We enjoy going to Claim Jumper! The food is delicious and wait staff is very friendly. This restaurant is in the Landry's Select group so we can use our credits there or gain points toward our next reward. We have never had desert, but they look fabulous! I am thinking we should go just for desert sometime!
Loved the place.foodand service.the only thing was the reservation i made was nota good experience. The earliest you check in before the time requested is the probability your reservation time will be available. We had to wait 45 mins to get a table .
I had a date there and the staff was super respectful and sweet the entire time. The food was amazingly done as well I enjoyed the meal and my date also enjoyed what she had as well.
the chicken was overly roasted to the point of tasting like feathers. Not good. Service this year was really really slow. Seems like many cutbacks have been made to save money.

The restaurant was large and beautiful. Our server was great and the food was delicious. This was the best Claim Jumper I have been to hands down.

The food was okay, not as good as last time I was there. The server was really slow and constantly had to e told what to bring like extra tartar sauce, horseradish. We waited and waited for the bread they usually serve and never did get any, that is until the food came and then once again we asked for bread and finally received 2 loaves.
Went in for an early dinner. Our server Jamie was EXCELLENT!!!! We told her we were in no hurry so she made our dining experience...We had Black Tie Pasta which was delicious.

Meal was great. The service provided by our server Felix was outstanding.
Last 2 times had horrible service, this time we truly felt ignored. I asked for a straw for my water and server said of course I will be back. He came brought our alcoholic drinks and asked again for a straw said will be right back. Waited about 10 minutes when finally my husband asked another server for one he pulled it out right then and there. Never received our bread, when we got our appetizers another server brought to us also salads. Had to ask another server for refills on water didn’t want to wait another 15 for other drinks. After about 30 minutes our server comes and asked how the food was. At this point I’m upset because He never asked us if we needed anything. After we ate we had to wait about another 15 to 20 minutes for our server to come to our table. He asked how the food was and my husband told him we needed the check and boxes please. From there it took about another 10 minutes for him to bring that back. Restaurant was busy but not too busy for us to have to wait so long for simple items. In all our food was very good. I will not be returning since this is the second time in a row that this is happened last time we just had to wait a long time for food.
Food was excellent, but the service was terrible in the bar area. We told him at the beginning we wanted dessert and didn’t even get a chance to get it because we waited so long for him to even come back to our table.
We love claim jumpers and celebrate a lot of special occasions here. This last time we went unfortunately we were seated next to a huge work party that was very loud and our server had no time for our table. In our reservation I made a note of my mother in-laws birthday and even re mentioned it at check in. I was told they would bring a treat out for her and say happy birthday. This did not happen. She was not recognized at all. The food was good as always just didn’t get the service we paid for.
Terrible experience. Even WITH a reservation we still waited over an hour past our scheduled time to be seated. Was told it was based on our “check in” time, AND that there were walk ins who had waited longer that they needed to seat before us. Tells me Claim Jumper does not understand what a reservation is, and thus does not honor reservations. Once seated, service was quite slow (took another 45 min to get food on limited menu). The food was not great - dry, cold meat. Vegetables were not fresh, and the soup had been sitting long enough that it was cold and had a skin over the top.
If I could provide lower rankings, I would. I DO NOT recommended this Claim Jumper. Poorly managed, poor execution, made for a very unpleasant experience overall.
Seems like they overbooked for Thanksgiving day, and took in walk-ins making the wait to be seated even longer. We were seated 45 minutes after our reservation time! And with so many people waiting in lobby, we were surprised to see a lot of empty tables throughout the restaurant. And they stayed empty during our entire stay. Perhaps they were short staffed? Definitely poorly managed for such a busy day. Unfortunately, it was my first time there, and the experience has left a poor impression. Food was just OK - pie was awful.
OpenTable was allowed to overbook at Claim Jumper. Because of this we waited a whole hour after our reservation time. Should NOT have happened!!!! Lots of upset people!!!!
Reservation was for 3:15 an didn’t get seated till 5 pm, then another 20 minutes to get waited on. There were a lot of empty tables but not enough help to work them.
The food was hot on arrival and very tasty
We were there on a very busy Thanksgiving day. Despite that that wait staff did an incredible job both in handling the overflow crowd who were waiting and in providing service to those who were seated.
The food was great, but it was Thanksgiving and the staff was overwhelmed. Even with a reservation we waited 90 minutes.
Good food and service! One problem, too much delay for those with reservations. We checked in at 2pm with a 2:15pm reservations. Did not get seated until 3:05pm. Understand that Thanksgiving is busy, but if you're running 45 minutes to an hour behind with the reservations then you took way to many to start with. Suggest reducing that number of reservations you take or come up with another plan to keep closer to the appointed times.
They were way overbooked for Thanksgiving. Reservation was for 2pm. Got there five minutes early. Seated at 3pm which meant we were standing for over an hour waiting. Food was okay but not worth what they charged.
I will never go to Claim Jumper for Thanksgiving again.
