Claim Jumper - Tualatin

Our server did a great job of fulfilling our requests. The food was delicious and we felt they did a good job of making us feel safe re: social distancing.
Service was excellent. Our food orders tasted great. Will come back again.
It was nice, we were nervous our first time out in a restaurant.
there was good social distancing and we had a quiet area and just to sit and chat the four different ladies.
Waiter was nice.
We had one question, how often to the staff change their gloves? We thought they should change it more often depending upon each project they’re working on. We were very happy, and he was very nice
Great food and great service! Glad they are reopened!
Server’s face mask barely covered his mouth. Half his mouth was exposed as well as his nose.
We’ll give Claim Jumper a break given they are trying to reopen during the time of Covid. But our dinner was a disappointment. While the staff was friendly the service was incredibly poor, no idea of what kind of beer they served and took 20 minutes to come back with a list. It took an hour to get our food which was not delicious. Just really not up to their reputation.
$13 for torched burger.
We were a party of six. Most of the meals turned out as expected. My son and I ordered the same filet mignon dinner, his was a fillet came out as expected mine was totally different and even the waitress noticed that it wasn’t the same. Upon the manager contacting our table he assured me that that was the same steak as ordered even after the waitress knew it was not he did not want to change anything.
Food was good, as expected. I don't come here for a 5 star meal, but still receive a wonderful, above-par dining experience nonetheless. We were seated right on time with our reservation & our server was nice, and very accommodating--(we had 2 three year olds with us.) All in all, no complaints.
Overall great
The man who checked us in at the front for our reservation was very short with us, and we both thought it was a bit rude. He had a different color shirt, so I think he was the manager? That made it seem more strange.
The food was great and our waiter Link was perfect. Thank you!
Went on Valentine’s Day. The man said they were behind reservations which was expected. They actually weren’t that behind and sat us pretty fast. Food was fast and good. You can tell they were ready for the night. The waitress was on point. No complaints with our food. Overall it was great for my first time ever trying Claim Jumper. I’ll be back, it was a lot of menu items that I want to try!
The food was good but was not hot, just slightly warm.
The food arrived quickly but one item right after the other. Was still eating salad when the onion ring starter arrived and was just barely finished with the salad and still enjoying the onion rings when the main course arrived.
No real time to enjoy the food.
Appeared staff trying to rush people out.
Claim Jumper Tualatin has really gone down hill. The Christmas Eve was disorganized and the only staff that was not rude was our waitress. We had reservations at 7:15 and still had to wait over an hour then they were out of menu items we ordered. The biggest let down was we chose this restaurant thinking my Landries rewards points that were about to expire on 25th I was thinking I could use towards my next reward and then told they don’t honor them anymore since this restaurant was considered not a Landries store anymore. That is not what my emails referencing. So I lost my reward points. Very disappointed in entire experience. Won’t go there again and will tell anyone we know not to bother either
We had an awful experience at Claim Jumper. We went there for our anniversary - made a reservation specifically stating that it was for our first anniversary - and requested to sit somewhere romantic, by a fire if possible. When we arrived, they sat us at a huge booth right in the middle of the restaurant. No cozy corner, or nook. Note that almost every table was open, because we were there at 4:30 pm. Our waitress was not friendly, forgot my beverage, and rushed us through our meal. Our food arrived luke warm and was a fairly small portion considering the price. Never once did our server mention our anniversary or ask if we were celebrating anything special. Also, no offer was made for a free, or even discounted dessert, considering the occasion. I know that at least the hostess saw that it was our first anniversary, because she specifically said, “Sorry, we don’t have a fireplace, but this is where it would be if we did.” Do the hosts not communicate special occasions with servers? I’ve worked at many restaurants, including Olive Garden, and that was always a priority. We were looking forward to a nice, romantic dinner for our first anniversary and were disappointed with every aspect of our experience at Claim Jumper. We will not be returning.
Good food good value.
Noise was acceptable until close to closing the house music was turned up - VERY ANNOYING.
This being my first visit I wasn't very impressed. Whether my poor choice in dishes or establishment, I didn't enjoy the (which I can only assume) store bought and freshly HEATED calamari or the dry, poorly plated sliders. I went in with the intent on ordering an entree but ended up sampling a few things which was no one's fault but my own but I still expected better quality. I may give this place one more try but I'm not in a hurry.
The food was lukewarm and not fresh. We were very disappointed.
Complained about the tri-tip steak being way too fatty and received a crash course on different steak cuts. Easily could have asked if I am familiar with tri-tip and would have said yes we grill this cut often in the summer.
They've trimmed the menu down quite a lot since our last visit, but there's still a lot of choice. The food we got was good - not outstanding . The only issue we had was with service, as our server would disappear for long periods. The place was dead when we visited, at 4pm on Black Friday (adjacent to Bridgeport shopping mall).
Too loud, servers were frazzled/ worn down as it was thanksgiving. With price as it was should have stayed home. We expected better. Ah well first and last time there. Will try almost anything once.
Food was good. Large portions but priced a little high. However, service was excellent! Our waitress was on top of things! Overall, it was a very nice experience.
Three of us ate here for Thanksgiving. The service was prompt for how busy it was. We each had a different entree and it was all delicious. The only complaint is it was so cold even with our coats on we were uncomfortable. As we gazed around more people were dining in their winter jackets then not.
Claim Jumper has been one of my go to places in the past. Orange County, Los Angeles; Clackamus, Oregon and now Tualatin, Oregon. I made reservations for four on Open Table.
The host at the counter was not very friendly. No greeting. My daughter who wasn't next to me noticed and said, "he did not look friendly at all." I said .... I don't know why? We waited for about five minutes to be seated. Our waiter, April was very nice and she made our dinner experience better.
The starter dish and dinner meal was kind of slow. We had the "Bonanza" which included mozzarella fried cheese sticks, loaded potatoes skins, and fried zucchini. We all had Caesar salads. Shrimp Fresca and Country Fried Steaks were our dinner choices. The portions were good.
My two star rating were the first impressions by the host, slow delivery of the meal service and the lack of cleaning materials in the men's restroom. The sweet baked potatoes and the mud pie are no longer offered.
Excellent food. We were a party of six on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was full at 6:30. A bit of a noise issue, hard to hear our conversation. But it was worth it. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Server was good, but overly worked. Forgot one of the drinks, which didn’t arrive until almost finished eating. Overall we were quite happy.
Family reunion
Unfortunately we had the sloooooooowest service, and even though we had reservations it took forever to get a table. The food wasn’t great, and even though it wasn’t very busy, no one had time to check on us. We won’t be back.
It was for my wife’s Birthday and the staff treated us very well! Was a great experience all around!
Amazing service. Thank you!
Visited Claim Jumpers on Veteran’s day, busy day for the staff, they handled it all w/ great professionalism. My wife and I thank you all for your support for the veterans of the armed services.
We reserved a table and it was waiting for us when we arrived, on veterans day, had a very good menu for the veterans, would recommend it to any one. will be going back soon!
Exquisite food & excellent service ! Easily accommodated extra guests & special requests. We'll be back !
Veterans day meal!
When: Sunday Nov 3rd; Party of 4 Adults
Service: This was our first time dining at this Claim Jumper location. We were really impressed with the overall service from the host, server, runner and on-duty manager. All were professional, courteous and upbeat in doing their responsibilities. We did not incur any issues during this visit, but know if one did persist, it would have been resolved immediately.
Food: To begin, we started with the shareable Bonanza Platter, which consisted of samples of various Appetizer dishes, such as the Spinach Artichoke Dip, Loaded Potato Skins, Lemon Pepper Zucchini and Mozzarella Sticks. For our entrees, the women in our party ordered the California Citrus Salad each while the men ordered the Fish & Chips and Rib Eye Steak. All items passed the initial eye test for presentation and tasted very well...There were no complaints from any one, we all had our fill and had no room for dessert.
General: This Claim Jumper location is rather large and on this Sunday afternoon, the dining area was only about 1/4 filled. Being located next to a Medical Center and across the Bridgeport Village Shopping complex, I would assume this place gets busy during the work week and the evenings. In my opinion, parking lot is rather small, unless there were more stalls in back fronting the I-5. Being from the Salem area, we may not make special trip to dine here, but if we are in the area to meet up with family, we would definitely meet up here again.
Sadly, they have changed the menu. Portions are smaller and the plates are large, so it looks like they can't do portion control right. I ordered a rib eye medium rare, and it came well done. The roasted vegetables were overcooked and the portion was smaller than 3 oz and the cream corn was watery. My husband's tri tip was small and they presented it sliced by did not fill the plate. The dessert was good. Their ladies washroom was out of paper products, so I told the hostess, she balked at it and the other host, told her to go refill, and she became rude. Honestly, this was during the dinner service and there was a lot of families celebrating birthdays. Luckily the health department did not inspect because no toilet paper was available, and patrons were used up all the toilet seat covers and hand towels. yuck!
Slow service. Food was semi warm. Drinks were good.
Service was very slow. My food was cold, noise level was high. I’ve eaten here several times and today was disappointing. Maybe they were short of staff.
We took my sister and brother-in-law to Claim Jumper to celebrate their 18 anniversary. We arrived during happy hour and we were asked if we would like to sit in the lounge. They assured me we would still get credit for our visit if we sat in the lounge instead of the dining room. Imagine my surprise when I got a text from Open Table, while we were eating dinner, asking why we didn’t honor our reservation. I immediately went to the front desk and showed them the text. Later when we paid our bill we were notified that they were no longer associated with Landers Select Club. On top of all this the meal was mediocre at best. We ordered the spinach dip and it appeared that they used a tee spoon of dip in a large piece of bread and a lot of chips. The salmon was overdone, and the creamed corn was soupy, not creamy. Unfortunately, this will be our last visit.
The restaurant seemed understaffed and overbooked. My reservation was for 7pm. I showed up at 6:55 and was told they were running a little behind. When I asked if there was an estimate for how long it might take the response I received was “well, your reservation isn’t until 7” from a snarky hostess. We ended up being seated around 7:20. It took about 45 minutes from when we ordered our food until we received it. This would likely have not been a problem except that we could see our food sitting under the warmers for quite some time. By the time it arrived to us much of it was warm, at best.
