Claim Jumper - Roseville
If you like Golden Corral, you will love Claim Jumper. The drinks and bar area were good. The restaurant was terrible.
The bench seats have unmovable tables. If you are a heavier person ask for a table.
We went there for the Veteran's Day offers. It has been a while since we have visited a Claim Jumper and I recall better food.
I had the meatloaf and it was just ok. My wife had the Tri-Tip and it was not as tender as we expected.
All in all it was an ok meal just not at the level we have had in the past
Very polite staff, good food, nicely set up. Sorry that they are no longer part of Landrys.
First, I want to say the food was really good! But overall, I was very disappointed in Open Table and Claim Jumper. I don’t live in the same state as my family anymore so I flew home to celebrate my dads 60th birthday. I made this reservation because I love using Open Table and he loves Claim Jumper. I specifically made notes on Open Table it was for a birthday. We get to the restaurant and nothing is mentioned, so while the hostess walks us back to our table I mention it’s my dads bday and if they do anything I would appreciate a dessert or something (because he’s gotten his favorite cake in the past, so I thought I would check with them). She said “i don’t know who your server is but just let them know at the table.” I said, “no no, this is a surprise can you please let them know?” And she agreed. However, the server came up the hostess stand while we were waiting to be sat and said “number 85 is clean if you want to seat it.” So the hostess saw the server and knew she was taking us to that table. At the end of the meal the server asked if we wanted dessert. I said well way to ruin the surprise but I told the hostess it was my dads birthday so she said she would get a birthday dessert and asked if we wanted singing and my dad did no signing. So she leaves and comes back 5 minutes later with our check. We figure she would bring the cake soon. Never brought it never even remembered the conversation and we just paid and I let the manager know this exact story. I’m not mad, but it’s the principle behind it. It’s not that hard and although they have other tables and things to do, this should not have been so easily dismissed. So something also needs to change with Open Tables notifications to the restaurants about special occasions. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again or to anyone else. It’s not that hard of a task.
Service was outstanding - they went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary requirements. Thank you!
Don't Change A Thing.!!!! And Make sure to get the calamari 🥰
Our waiter was Excellent - didn't rush us and let us take our time! Great service - great Food
Great food and great service for a birthday dinner with family!
We had a lovely waitress who gave excellent service. Forgot her name. Everything was great!
We arrived early they gave us the option to sit in the bar and get happy hour pricing or sit in the dining room for regular pricing. The food was prepared very well and there was a lot of it. They were very accommodating on substitutions and the waitress was always right there to make sure all was ok
The food is awesome! I would highly recommend the chicken and ribs yum..... I also tried my husbands steak and shrimp, which was just as great. I would with out a doubt recommend Claim Jumper to my friends, which I already have done. We also attend happy hour for those "special" occasions. The staff is wonderful, always catering to your needs. A fun family and/or friend place to relax and enjoy. The staff is very helpful, able to answer all our questions, make suggestions for dinner and overall take the burden for a great meal!
I had the Club sandwich... the toast was cold and hard... like it was not freshly prepared.
Don’t like when our salads and appetizers are served at the same time. We felt we were being rushed in and out.
We had a senior citizen with us as I out on reservation with a walker and they gave us a really close table. And our waitress was outstanding
It was very hot in the restaurant; uncomfortable. Tri-tip excellent! Great specialty drinks too. Rarely saw waiter- too busy and over-heated.
I barely moved into town and this place made my family and I feel at home. Such friendly welcoming people. The food was delicious. The server was nice and always attentive. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to eat with family.
However, I recommend that the restaurant use more control over their air quality and temperatures. It was a very warm day and the room was very hot. We had a choice to go to the bar area which had better temperature control, but we had our 6 year old grandchild with us, along with our 19 year old grandson who who was on his reserve weekend, and the bar was not appropriate.
Had reservation and told a hostess we were there and would wait in the bar. Our friends showed up and they were seated in the restaurant. Thirty minutes later we found out they were there. Terrible service. No communication between staff
After being seated the server immediately came over to get our orders. We didn’t even open the menus yet and told her to come back. 20 minutes later she came back to take our order. Really???
Food - I had fried chicken and spent the next morning in the bathroom. My husband had clam chowder with no clams. Think we’ll write this restaurant off. Too bad, it used to be a great place to eat
While waiting for my car to be serviced we came for lunch. The ancho Bloody Mary my mom had was tasty. She prefers the combo, but was never asked out she wanted her meat so it came out well done. Which she hated. But she didn’t complain to the waitress. Also her broccoli was cold. She did asked for additional butter but because it was cold the butter never melted into the broccoli. I had ordered the widow maker burger with extra red onions. The burger came to me with extra onion rings on it. But the quickly fixed it. Very yummy My daughter had the Cali tri tip sandwich and she absolutely loved it.
Nice and cozy atmosphere... love the wood burning.
The website really needs updating as the brunch is no longer available. We heard a couple tables ask about it and one table of 6 left due to brunch not being available.
On my last visit I tried the Salmon Oscar. I was served salmon with a rather watery sauce with a few pices of what I think was inexpensive canned crab met. Not impressed. My wife thinks the world of their steaks and my dogs loved the fat and gristle that's left over. My daughter's roasted chicken, she said, was good, Boston Market is better.
My over all experience was underwhelming and of questionable value.
The waiter was too busy waiting on too many tables. My ribeye in the past has been excellent it was very mediocre. We waited quite a while for the dinner to be served and the follow up was very minimal. The noise level was too high. Are used to feel that everything was excellent at your restaurant and I no longer feel that that is true. I paid a lot of money for a large Bone in ribeye and it was mediocre.
Great service and great food! Got in before our reservation time!
Matthew was our server and he was fast, very informative and courteous! My wife and I had a great dinner and the chef knows a perfect medium rare!
Our dinner was wonderful ..we go there everytime were in town
Food was just okay to not good at all. Mashed potatoes had huge chunks of uncooked potato in it - replaced with a baked potato that was cold. Tri tip listed as "served medium" was completely grey and dry. Macaroni drizzled with cheese and was cold. Cheese pizza looked like they tossed a couple of shreds on it. Hamburger was good, per my 11 yo. Chicken strips were.... chicken strips. Finally got refills on our drinks after we got our check. Beautiful restaurant - definitely not worth the money.
The pork belly Brussels sprouts were AMAZING!
Food was fresh and the service was excellent!
Great stop. Our waitress was delightful as was the food!
I was severed raw meet after my order was well done. I had to ask for for discount once given the bill. Feel discount should of been done in first place as it was noted when order was taken well done meat. Kitchen messed up while everyone else was eating I had to wait anther 15 min for my food. Don't feel that right. Then I have to ask do the discount instead of them just giving it off the top for the mistake.
We had a wonderful dinner at Claimjumper in Roseville. Top Sirloin was cooked perfectly for me and was juicy and tender even though I requested medium well. My husband had the Atlantic Salmon and he thought it was very good also. The side dishes were great. We were too full to get dessert! Our server was attentive, ambiance was very nice.
No I will never go to this location again food was very bad and did not enjoy my food
My burger was RAW and still cold. Sent it back would not eat it and after seeing that no I did not want anything else. Did not eat. All our food was cold as in the cheese in the bake potatoes had already firmed back up. Steaks were cold. Our food after being cooked just sat there getting cold before it finally made it to our table. After we had our salads different servers came 3 more times trying to give us a salad. Never saw our server to get refills on our drinks. Worst meal. Will not go back.
Really nice Father’s Day brunch. Unfortunately, there was a classic car show nextdoor, so most of the restaurant parking was taken. We got there at noon, and the buffet was already cleaned out of some things. They weren’t quick to replenish the food unfortunately, but what we got was good.
Father's Day buffet breakfast brunch was a great value and very good food... appreciated the quality quantity and service will be going again for our next special occasions for brunch...it was very fulfilling and delicious
Brunch buffet food was cold and had been sitting around. Nothing was fresh. Waffles were soggy, French toast was burnt, etc.
Sat us in the bar, noisy, not a sports fan. Told us they would reseat us when a table was available, that never happened. Food was alright , presentation uninspired, should have stayed home and made a baloney sandwich, hate baloney.
My steak was mediocre. I ordered the porterhouse steak. It was thin and tough. The other order was the chicken fried chicken. The portion was large but ended up being almost half just breading. The rest of the meal was about as expected. The potatoes were good. Service was good. It was a bit noisy and hard to hear each other.
