Claim Jumper - Rancho Cucamonga
Decent service, great menu, and nice atmosphere. Service was a bit slow and I wouldn't order a cocktail as they took a fair amount of time making simple drinks.
Food was cold, server was HORRIBLE. Didn’t even make eye contact once while taking orders. Seemed like he hated his job. Overall not a great experience.
I never received my 100 points for dinner I had there.
Server was great. Not busy. Took 50 min from order time to get food for 2 people. Jambalaya was good, the other pasta was bland, artichoke dip had no flavor.
Poor service overall. Took too long to be welcomed by the server and then forgot about us at times throughout out dining experience. This has happened before with this location but thought we’d give it another shot. Still disappointed.
Attended the breakfast buffet an it was the best.
Took long to get our food, the runner dropped the marinara sauce on our table. Food was good. Our waiter was ok. Took long to get drink refills.
Our service was the worst! Will never go back again!
We got seated 15 min before reservation and the food was amazing!
Food came out late and cold. But waiter was really nice.
We arrived early, got drinks in the bar, wait wasn't bad. But service sucked once we were seated. Waiter was dry, our main course came out before the appetizer and our salads. There was no apology, no questioning, no offer if we still even wanted the appetizer etc. Just seemed terrible for a valentines day dinner.
Very busy Valentines Day dinner night. We had reservations that helped us not to have to wait. Claim Jumper menu has changed a little over the last few years but still a steak center restaurant. Food portions are generous and cocktails well made. I skipped the steak this time and went with a meatloaf sandwich with BBQ on toasted bread and my wife went with sliced Tri-Tip and vegatables. Both were delicious. Skipped their wonderful desserts as we were stuffed.
All in all CJ is still a good "go to" restaurant with a wide variety of choices and huge desserts.
Service was excellent. Servers were very attentive and accommodating.
Our dining experience was great and our server was also wonderful!
The location is great and the restaurant is clean.
My review is for the Sunday brunch buffet. There is a pretty good selection of breakfast and lunch items. It’s great that you have the salad bar too. The dessert selection was only about 3 items. The taste was just right for bunch.
Using open table was great , I originally walked in to the restaurant I was given a 45 min wait . While I sat there I decided to use the app and I was able to get a reservation within 15 min . Loved it !! Service was good food was great as well .
Met friends there, food was very good. So we’re the drinks. If your a Veteran, be sure to ask for a Veterans discount! Thank you Claim Jumper!!!
I go to this location often. This time it took 15 minutes to get lettuce in the salad bar. They also ran out of egg in salad bar. Said it would be a wait for eggs because they did not have any prepared. It was New Years Eve and not very busy to have no one maintain the salad bar. I am usually very happy but this time was not a great visit .
Under staff and no longer part of Landry. The wait was extremely long for walk in, so the hosts was trying to encourage everyone to sit in the bar area. I waited so long that I decided to use open table to get seated quicker. However, there was still a wait of about 15 minutes after my book time. Once we were called to be the seated the dining area was quite empty with only one wait staff. The manager seated, took our order , served and waited on us doing our whole dining experience. Who knew a simple change of not being a part of the Landry team could impact business. The lobby was crowded with folks who didn’t want to dine in the bar waiting to be seated.
Music was way too loud to have any conversation, had to ask for bowls twice before I went to the hostess asking a 3rd time.
Dishes remained on the table until we put them on the table next to us.
It was Christmas eve but it was not super busy. We asked for extra napkins never got them. My son asked for a plain baked potato and it came loaded the waiter did not deliver our food and it took him so long to come back that my son just ate the potatoe. We asked for straws three times before we got them and had to ask for refills on our drinks. For the prices they charge they nee ro check on you..this may be why so many are closing. We have lots of choices now in the IE and I won't be back. I chose to spend my money where I am appreciated. I work very hard for my money and apparently this restuarant doesn't care.
come here for pre-Christmas brunch and a birthday or 2 every year. Been coming to these restaurants for about 35 years. Wish you'd keep the chili
Mediocre service from management after entrees came out cold TWICE. Server was great considering she had to keep apologizing for things beyond her control. Waste of time and money. Will never return. This was a second visit after another recent bad experience. Needless to say they did not make up for it but only proved this restaurant is a mess. Witnessed other patrons not receiving food and orders that did come out went to wrong tables. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Silverware was dirty. Service was slow. Food was decent, but disappointing for cost. Have had much better experience in the past, but for second trip in a row Claim Jumper has disappointed.
We had a party of 10 for a birthday party. The service was amazing. The food was even more amazing. I really appreciate everything that was done for us. We will definitely be back!
the ambiance was good but my food was mediocre. I did not enjoy my plate I ordered. I did get the salad bar and that was very clean. As a matter a fact the only problem was the flavor of the food it was ok.
The brunch is mediocre and does not include champagne. It's a very small buffet. Pancakes were not hot and they should have had whipped butter instead the cold pre-wrapped square pats. I was in line at omelette station and watched the cook at the make one runny omelet after the next, so decided to skip that. I like CJ for the most part but wouldn't do their brunch again. That's not their lane.
3 out of 4 entrees came out cool. One was for a toddler so sent back 2. Baked potato was supposed to have butter, sour cream and cheese. It came out still hard with only sour cream. Asked for butter and cheese and that never came. Steak was smaller than the palm of my hand and entree was missing items that we had to ask for. Manager came and asked if we wanted dishes remade yet again but we declined due to being there for the time we were and it being closing time. Manager deducted zero from bill. Over $100 wasted. Will never come back.
Another Thanksgiving luncheon. The only complaint is that the finished dishes were not cleaned from the table or on a timely manner.
Everything was great except we had a reservation at the end of the night. They ran out of food and it was not hot. We sent it back and it was much better. The service was great.
For it being thanksgiving, we thought the food was delicious and the server was polite and attentive
The thanksgiving Food was not worth the price. Not alot of options. The service was slow. The food took 45 mins to come out and was cold. Really wanted the regular menu to be available, didn't know was only a thanksgiving menu this day.
There is no doubt the best place for Thanksgiving dinner if you are not in the mood to cook.
This was the worst food and service I’ve ever had. Food was cold, got salads after our meal. Had to flag down other servers for refills
Went on Thanksgiving. I was expecting it to be crowded. It was busy but they did a good job getting us seated and service was reasonable.
Arrived at 1:15 for brunch. Most of the dishes were almost gone and lukewarm at best. Probably not bad if you arrive earlier, when the food is fresh.
We have been coming to Claim Jumpers for 20 plus years. The customer service they have now is a great disappointment from years past. The hostess looked like she just rolled out of bed. Our waitress was super nice.
Terrible service, food had been sitting under the lamps for some time as all our food had a film on top. Salads never came out and we had to ask 3 different servers for ranch (which we asked for when we ordered our food) before getting some. Probably will not return.
They need to take care of salad bar better, I paid $13 and half the stuff was empty and other stuff was old.
Was there for Veterans Day celebration food was delicious service was great.
