Claim Jumper - Nashville
We went out as a girls night and had dinner here. I ordered the salmon and asparagus with a side salad and I asked for no cheese , and he said that they didn't come with it. When it came to the table it had cheese on it. My friends both ordered steaks and loaded baked potato , one of them was supposed to come out with no sour cream and instead it came loaded. The food that was correct was good, the service was good and the manager on duty even stopped by the table which was nice.
We actually attended the restaurant twice that day. Lunch was our initial visit and the food was really good. The service however was only satisfactory. The server was really not engaging at all. Our second visit was a reservation for dinner. The hostess could not find our reservation. Our sever was very pleasant however when she returned to ask if we wanted a further beverage she forgot to bring them. The meal was I would say OK. The roast beef dip au juice was extremely salty. I would honestly say the meal was not up to par.
Busy Saturday night before the Opry. Glad we had reservations. Food was unremarkable but the selection was decent.
Our server was fantastic!!!!!!!!!! We had a few problems with our food from the kitchen but she had it corrected real soon and expressed her apologies. Nice place and very convenient if you're going to the Grand Ole Opry for a show.
We reserved a private room for a baby shower. Space and food was okay.
We had to send a drink back because it was clear. They were out of 3 different sides at 615 PM on a Tuesday. My shrimp was dry. They were out of pineapple. The manager did come to check on us to confirm our food was "at least edible". We were hosting coworkers from out of town and looking for more than "at least edible". It was edible but I would recommend their goal be more than edible.
Great restaurant! Nice ambiance, great drinks and delicious food. Varied menu selection, so everyone in our group found something they liked!
Came in for happy hour, and the food and drink options were really good. I will come back again soon!
We went to claim jumpers in the Opry mill mall prior to a concert at the grand ole opry. The meal and service were very good and the location was excellent! We were steps away from the Opry I would recommend it as an
Option for anyone seeing a concert.
Horribly slow service. Food was very bland, semi warm. Not great in anyway.
Had to send steaks back. Ordered medium rare bot came well done & dry. New steaks brought out but took a while.
Not what I expected.
Food was good. Service sucked. The waitress was slow and messed up orders a few times. They also sat us at this table that felt like we were in a hallway. It was a party of 8, but the restaurant is large. I'm sure they had a larger booth or table in a better spot.
It was the best restaurant, please bring one to Buffalo, NY. Thank you.
Claim Jumper is a great restaurant with lots of options on their menu. It is in the Opra Mills Mall. The manager Steve there is awesome and will make sure your dining experience is perfect. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
We had a group of 14 and we were pretty crowded around our tables. If we could have been in the separate room it would have been much better.
Greeter did not greet, not friendly at all. Also they need to do a better job at training the staff and giving them more knowledge on their product.
haven't been to claim jumper since we moved from California, was surprised to find one in Tennessee, good food good service
Food was a little pricey for what you get and our waiter seemed like she didnt want to be there
Traveled form PA , DE, NJ, and GA for a sisters weekend. Had great experience in the past and anticipated the same. This was one of the most disappointing experiences ever. The food was poor quality and not cooked to order, I never ate dinner. The service was poor the young man tried but was overwhelmed and the restaurant was empty. The manager was apathetic to the complaint offered, although one meal was removed. We 5 sisters set out for a lovely afternoon early dinner before show. Will never come back and will encourage all family and friends to avoid this restaurant. WHAT HAPPENED?
Quick stop before a night at the Grand Olw Opry - in the mall - closest spot for a good simple meal ore show
The service was good, everyone was very nice., the place was very clean. I enjoyed my experience, but I thought it was very pricey for the taste of food. Asparagus was decli
Very poor service, rude wait staff and hostess staff. Food fairly good. We have been to Claim Jumper in several other cities and always have a great experience with much better food and service.
We had dinner before going to an evening at the Grand Ole Opry, and it was excellent.
The Claim Jumper has excellent food. It is always a treat to get to eat there. Would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for unique food options in the Nashville area. Since it is located in Opry Mills Mall you can see a movie or shop after you eat. :)
My server was training someone and not very attentive. Our wait times were extremely long. Our drinks weren’t right and instead of the manager making it right, he came over and gave a lecture about drink mixing. This was my second visit I will not return and I’ll be sure to tell my friends and family about my horrible experience.
Our waiter was awesome! He gave great drink suggestions, very attentive our needs, and was very personable! We ate here after a long day of learning at an educator conference and we hungry! The food was good! We ate every bite!
Very good service, and great food!
The Clam Chowder was exceptional. Highly recommend as an upgraded side or in addition to your entree.
It's just a chain restaurant in the Opry Mills mall. People kept walking by the window we were seated next to. It was very distracting and not a relaxing meal.
Great variety of flavorful food. The “Motherlode” was excellent. Portions are large so keep that in mind when ordering.
I was disappointed with my experience at Claum Jumper. My ribeye steak (my favorite kind of steak) was just okay, my baked potato was dry and I didn’t care for the dressing on the Caesar salad. The service was fair. Disappointing dining experience.
Got a table right away. It appeared to be not very busy since only a quarter of the tables were open. Server came right away to get drink orders. Server was even timely getting food order then the experience unraveled. It took 45 minutes to get our food. We had to ask the bar tender to refill our drinks because our server was not around to do it. We watched other families get up and leave because the server failed to get their order. The food was ok, but service took too long and did not fulfill our needs.
Our server Dennis. was also the bartender. Awesome server with very tasty drinks
The restaurant was out of everything that we tried to order.... They close at 9:30 but the entries were out at 7:30!!! Our dinner consisted of wings and soup!!!
The food was ok, it was the service that evening. We had been there before and had a great server and good food, this time, it was definitely a not going back. There was no Opry land events going on so maybe not as busy, not as good. Our server said hello and then left to go smoke, she honestly smelled like pot when she finally returned 20 minutes later, why did I stay? well I was dining w/my 9 yr old on vacation and her heart was set on eating there again. Our server was very out of it and there was only one other server in our bar area, it was not busy & she was high or extremely out of it and if the manager didn't notice, I would be shocked! What makes a good server? If you have a hard time deciding this could be the place for you. The service was so bad that it makes everything else a bad experience!
Claim Jumper is an overpriced chain with mediocre food. They used to be great.
We told the man who brought our dinner to the table that one of the steaks was cooked to the wrong temp. He said he would come back and get it and never returned. Someone in our party traded with that person. We asked for steak sauce 3 times and it finally arrived after the steaks were 2/3 eaten.
Doors opened 15 minutes late. Restaurant was filthy food on floor. Mass confusion at the hostess table. Men’s room filthy the smell was horrendous. Food was mixed out of the party, burger and fries were cold I mean not Luke warm effing cold! Fish Luke wam fries COLD!
