Claim Jumper - Henderson
We thoroughly enjoyed spending Thanksgiving Dinner with them. Food and drinks were more than delicious. Service was fast and very kind after what I am sure was a super busy day.
Dylan did an excellent job and made our Thanksgiving very very special. His customer service is amazing. The staff is very nice and helpful.
Thank you so much.
Was a great meal. Well cooked steak and the vegetables were delicious!
Really not happy you got rid of your extensive happy hour menu the reason I’ve been coming to claim jumpers was for that reason, so I won’t be back.
Great atmosphere, relaxing. Adhered to all covid protocols.
Ask for Jeanette she was awesome. The new lobster BLT was great as well.
Good food, great service ... best place to take friends .
Great spot for a wonderful meal - Loved our experience
Steak was medium to medium rare but nowhere close to rare as ordered. Asparagus was uncooked, not at all even blanched and could not cut it. Meat loaf and gravy had way too much worcestershire sauce. Having said that, first bad meal. Not what I had hoped for my birthday meal.
Decent food. Nothing too exciting. Menu is a lot smaller than it used to be. Slightly pricey for what it is but still nice to get out and eat.
Food & drink was good but not hot. Bar service just OK. Pricing good. Great menu!
Cassie, our waitress in the bar area was awesome
Our waiter was great and my husband really enjoyed his steak. He rated it up there with Morton’s Steakhouse!
Truly an unexpected delight and an overall, great find for relaxed, neighborhood dining. The atmosphere is really classy, the food quality and preparation shows they have a kitchen that knows what they are doing. Do yourself a favor and get their featured Chocolate cake that is like none other!
Felt very comfortable with the social distancing. Would definitely recommend this place food and service is a 10+
Our server, Dillon, always does a great job and makes sure we are well served and the food order is correct. Thank you, "Marshal" Dillon.
It’s a wonderful place, I loved the atmosphere, but I’m not impress with the changes. It’s created a shareable menu and it’s not enough.
I've heard a lot of positive things about Claim Jumper over the past few years and this was my first visit, to celebrate my daughter's birthday. For appetizers, we ordered the zucchini fries, potato skins, and artichoke dip. The appetizers were all good. For dinner, we ordered the lobster mac n cheese, Salmon Oscar, Champagne chicken and shrimp, and fried chicken dinners. The dinners were meh. There was a miscommunication about the salmon dinner so it did not come with the oscar topping, but that was quickly rectified by our server. The lobster in the mac n cheese tasted very fishy. Yes, I realize it's seafood, but this was fishier than normal for lobster. The champagne chicken and shrimp was pretty good, probably the best dinner on the table. The food was mediocre for the prices, but our server was patient, friendly, and helpful. At the end of the night, we ended up getting comped our appetizers because they felt they came out too slow, which I thought was completely unnecessary because the speed of everything, other than the margarita, seemed totally reasonable to me. I appreciated that they did that for us though. I'm not sure I'd go back to a Claim Jumper if there are other options around. It wasn't a bad experience; it just was not up to my expectations based on reputation. Maybe it was an off night, and COVID has royally effed up dining practices and experiences, so I won't NOT recommend it.
Upon seating, server spilled an entire glass of ice tea on my wife's clothes. While we understand it is an accident, NOT ONE manager came by to check on her even though she was cold because of the spillage. The server (Lindsay I think) did apologize but that was it. ZERO follow-up. Our new server was almost completely absent and again NO MANAGER stopped by. Food was good but this is horrible customer service experience and STILL PAID for the Ice Tea....SHAMEFUL!
BTW, I was there the week earlier for lunch and no issues hence why I came back so quickly.
Covid makes things a little weird with the social distancing and masks, but Claim Jumper does their best through it all. Service was good and the food was great. I had to wait quite a long while for a keg to be changed out for my beverage, but other than that everything was great. Food was timely and tasty.
The Claim Jumper has kept their long time favorites on the menu during the pandemic and that is a good thing. Many restaurants have reduced menus. If you are a fan of the pot pies then you're in luck
It was really great to see the socially distanced parties throughout the Reataurant. Hopeful that business was “good” though still limited to half capacity. Never felt that Claim Jumper had crowded seating chart so with the removal of tables and closure of booths in the ample space, one of the best dine-in venues since COVID-19 safety measures. Service is always excellent, sanitary measures are practiced like new beverage served instead of refilled, and they have a sanitizer station available by the door.
Messed up a chicken sandwich twice. first they gave a grilled cheese no chicken. Then ask for grilled chicken sandwich plain and it came loaded with bad sauce on it. They did take it off the bill. Steak was an 7 out of 10.
Very disappointed! We were put in a section that was away from sight which was fine bc we requested a booth. We were forgotten. The food took a long time. When it arrived it was cold. All three of us had cold food. One meal got the wrong side. Not a big deal but the fries were cold. My daughter did try the impossible burger and it could have been a hit if it was not cold.
Our Server Jacqueline was fantastic! Be sure to ask to be seated in her section.
Delicious food and great family friendly atmosphere!
No bread? Come on!!!
I will NEVER eat at claim jumper again.
The lobster mac cheese had dried old rubbery lobster. I want my money back!
The menu sucked, I dont eat meat and thats why I went there, for the loaded baked potato. Couldnt get it
This is NOT the claim jumper of before. Even the portions were tiny!
Great! Food, service and ambiance
Went for my birthday with family. Raymond was our server. He was attentive to our needs. He brought us refills to our drinks, without being asked. He brought us our appetizers, then salad, then main course spaced out great. I didn't feel like I was being rushes to the next course. We were able to really enjoy our meal. We have decided that we will be back in October for my husband's birthday.
The ribs were very moist and tender. A definite rival to Lucille!
We came here not really knowing what expect due to the current situation today. But the service was awesome and the food was wonderful!
The waitress was absolutely the nicest and most accommodating and so was the manager. Great experience! Thank you.
Sadly after 43 years it looks like the end is near, The Claim Jumper has always been a great place for large quantities of outstanding food at a fair price. We had reservations, and we were seated quickly, our drinks were on the table within a couple of minutes, then things changed. We were handed two menus that were printed of of the cheapest printer ever, you couldn't read them. We asked our server (he did a great job) for a menu we could read. He brought us a good one clear menu, we asked him why they would hand out such a faded looking menu, and he said having them printed was too expensive. My wife and I both ordered iced tea, a dinner salad, and grilled chicken and it came with potatoes and vegetables. The iced was cloudy, it used to be crystal clear and fresh. The Salad was small and cool (at best) their salad used to be huge and ice cold. The dinner portion size and quality was something you would expect in Denny's, not Claim Jumper's. The Chicken tasted very good, the potatoes were warm, not hot, and the vegetables were over cooked. I will try them one more time, only because I have had so many great meals at Claim Jumper's in the past, I have been loving their food since 1977, I hope they make it, but I think Covid 19, and poor management means the end is near.
We were disappointed that we could not all 7 sit together at one table
The server was attentive and friendly. The food was mediocre; vegetables were not thoroughly cooked, mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box, chicken had a weird chemical-Smokey taste. For the prices, did not get a lot of bang for my buck.
The food here was amazing! Great service. Lobster Mac and cheese and so good. We wished we had asked for our steaks rare, they were cooked perfectly medium rare I just am finally realizing I like my steak more on the true rare side. The wedge salad, loaded mash, and filet were delicious, highly recommend adding the grilled shrimp. Will definitely be back. Don’t skip out on desert either. Their caramel pecan cake was awesome.
Very nice for this terrible time! Booths are large and well-separated, feels safe.
Food was excellent, service was great. We had a nice time, and the prices are fairly reasonable.
Always a great value, but the twin lobster tails was incredible. Great food and great service.
