Claim Jumper - Henderson
Went for an earlier dinner on a Friday (6:30), not to busy - Open Table reservation was great. Great steak, friendly server
Thanksgiving evening. It was very busy Services was slow and haphazard given the prices
We chose Claim Jumper at Green Valley and 215 to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with friends this year. It was the perfect choice. From front door friendly and fast service to great food service inside, we may make it a future tradition when family is not in town...wait, even when family IS IN TOWN !
We went for Thanksgiving dinner. It was an excellent meal. We were seated promptly, there was plenty to eat, the service was good and the price was very fair. No complaints here!
It’s not the same. Food wasn’t good. Prices for a bowl of clam chowder was almost $9.00. They did light a candle on their butter cake for my birthday, which was nice and very good.
Only tried this place once prior and used takeout service, not impressed. Decided to take my wife for her bday dinner. Calamari app was tender and tasty, a bit small portion-wise for the price point. Our dinners, on the other hand, were well prepared accompanied by caesar salads and I had lg baked potato. My trip-tip was med rare as I asked for and very nice with au jus. Wife's pasta with parmesan-crusted shrimp was excellent. Advised on Open Table res that it was a special occasion, however, we opted for carrot cake to-go which wasn't a show stopper for sure. Jacqueline, our server, made us comfortable and was very accommodating. Casual atmosphere without crowds next to you. Lively bar scene and in our neighborhood so we'll take our daughter with us next time.
Food was amazing as usual. It’s the only place I can guarantee my children will eat without a putting up a fight!
We love Claim Jumper, but I am sure we will go anymore since it was sold and is no longer a "Landry's" property.
Party of 10 was served quickly and attentively throughout the meal. The lemon pepper zucchini and pork belly Brussels sprouts appetizers were fabulous and most of the food was terrific. The Salmon Oscar, though the salmon portion size was good and cooked perfectly, it only had 3 mushy pieces of crab, 3 asparagus spears, and an almost flavorless lemon butter, so was a little disappointing for the $31 price tag. The one and only other complaint was that the Dr. Pepper tasted like root beer.
Second time coming here, first time was great! This last time was terrible. For 2, the whole thing took 1 hour and 45 minutes. We waited forever for our food, and then my steak was overcooked, and waited forever for our server to check in with us. Then they got me a new steak, but by that time we were ready to leave. Took at least 30 minutes to get a to go box and our check. Not sure if we will be back.
Thank you Claim Jumpers for treating Veteran’s to a nice meal. Much appreciated!! Great food and outstanding service.
I had fish and chips... they were good. My wife had the pot pie which was enormous, but the chicken was way over cooked and quite dry.
The men’s bathroom was atrocious... all of the soap dispensers (except one) did not function or the top was physically broken off.... very sad and tired place!
Large surprise party brought a PA system. When man started talking about his surgery, we left. This was after I found parchment paper in my salad. It was a bad experience and my husband does not want to go there again.
What an excellent dining experience. Wonderful food, service, everything. Will definitely become one of our spots when in the Vegas area.
THis is a Family Restaurant. It is a little dark for my choice but the food is Hearty and plentiful. The Clam Chowder Soup and Chicken Pie are particularly good value. The Cheese Bread is Unique and tasty, they keep bringing it and unlike some Restaurants it is free.Service was friendly and attentive.
My daughters fries were cold when they brought out there meals. Everything took an extremely long time and the restaurant was dead. The onion rings on my burger were not cooked. The quality and taste of their platter for the appetizer was gross. The drink I order was straight liquor and tasted horrible. I had to send that back. It just wasn’t worth the $200 dollars I spent. Honestly, I’ll never go there again.
Service was slow. We were there 5 minutes before anyone even came over. First rule of being a waiter (I was one for years.) Always, always make contact w the customer within the 1st minute, even if it is to say, I’ll be back in a minute. And management, you were standing there, seemingly oblivious. Also not good. Come over and get the drink order. A fellow came over finally and made eye and vocal contact with the only man in the group. Ignored all of the women, as if they did not exist. In this day and time, are you for real? Women pick up the check, too, you know. So don’t act like it’s 1955 and ignore half the human race. Next, some servers were literally running.... while others stood around. So someone was obviously in the weeds and others just kinda hangin out. Odd and disorganized, and certainly showed a lack of team work. And maybe a little dangerous to have someone flyin around with hot food. The food came as ordered and was decent. The restaurant was very dark, making it difficult to read the menu, but so many restaurants do that these days, so no heavy razzin on that point.
Love this place and intend to go back with family and friends next weekend.
Best place we’ve had for a family get together. Glad we went.
Great food and good quality. Best place to take guests.
Their menu changed, and are not associated with landrys anymore, food took long to come out.
Great variety and service - going back to try the awesome looking bar for a cocktail and appetizer!
Answered the site about what was the occasion, answered "Anniversary". Wasn't mentioned by the Hostess and the food server. What's the point of the questionnaire?
We enjoyed our visit to Claim Jumper. The server was great, knowledgeable, & professional. The food was cooked the way requested & tasted great. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant.
They were short staffed, but the restaurant was empty. Service was terrible.
Food is amazing
Service was exceptional
My only problem was with reception. We had reserved a table at 6pm. We got there at 545 and the restaurant was empty. The receptionist told us to have a seat and she'll be with us. Two other couples came in after us and she seated them immediately. When we asked her about them, she said they also had 6pm reservations and she would get to us. She then waited another 5 minutes and finally seated us. We were not rude or nasty. If we go again and this girl is there, we will simply leave. The manager stood there and allowed this to happen.
The food and our server were wonderful.
Our whole family love Claim Jumper!! Whether it’s a family dinner or celebration, the food and service are wonderful. We especially love Happy Hour in the bar during hockey season 😉 Go Knights Go!!
We’ve been a few times before and I was very happy to see they made updates to the menu (Impossible burger...YUM!) and portion sizes were smaller which I think is wonderful. I wish service was a little better the waiter asked if we wanted dessert I said “I’ll take a look” and after like 5 minutes he just brought the check to the table. Oh well, not something that would stop me from coming in but def a misstep.
Too noisey...sounded like a quiet romantic place for a date nigght, but Kitchen noise, Hollering orders, etc. Onion rings were so greasy I couldn't eat them. Waitress was ok..
Terrible service - our waiter was clearly oversold. Apathetic management who didn’t seem to care beyond removing one entree which came out cold from our bill. Overall experience was awful. We used to go all the time - we won’t be back to this location.
As usual, clam chowder was excellent. Service was average (no refill on water, for example). Reservation noted TWO Birthdays on that date - not passed on to server. Big poster at entrance noted free slice of speciality chocolate cake for those with summer birthdays - yet for our 6:00p.m. dinner they had "run out" so a single substitute cupcake was presented for the birthdays. Meat quality was excellent but preparation average at best. Baked potato (with "the works") was almost inedible.
Had a wonderful experience! The waiter was excellent and fast. The clam chowder soup is always a favorite with us as well as the chocolate cake!!
Great food, service, and environment. Looking forward to our next visit.
Everything was great
Our server was excellent and the food was amazing. We will be definitely going there again!!
Excellent server and service! Would highly recommend! Love Claim Jumper
We had a reservation at 7 and we were told the table was not ready and that we would have to wait. At 7:25 we asked again and we were told ( I have a Lotta reservations come at the same time and it’s not my fault it’s the apps fault). The hostess was so rude. When we were seated the manager came over to us and apologized. Our waiter was awesome and the food was great.
We made a reservation so we were seated right away. Our waiter was great. He greeted us right away and took our drink order. Our order was taken in a timely manor and our food game out rather quickly. There was eight in our party. We all had something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. Would definitely go again.
Great Service by our Waitress and Receptionist. Food was served to our liking and to our specific needs due to restricted diet. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere conducive to good conversation with friends. Most quality restaurants are so noisy you can not have a conversation. Its lively but not noisy. We will be back soon !
