The wines on list they had 1
They were out of cauliflower. Ans filet mignon
It was a joke. Dont go. Waste if time
Great waiter, delicious !
Nice courteous staff and clean place ; enjoy well prepared meals
Randy was our server and she was awesome. Very attentive and brought our drinks and appetizers quickly. Our entrees left a lot to be desired. The steaks were paper thin this time and not flavorful like our last visit. Mac and cheese was warm at best and the loaded baked potato seemed like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Very sad considering we were celebrating a friends Birthday. Not what we expected for $200.
We enjoyed the meal so much the night before, we went back the following night. Good food and service.
Steaks were tender and cooked to perfection
Glad they have the larger menu back. Disappointed that they no longer offer the cheesy bread and that a dinner salad is now $4 extra and not even in the “side” selections. The pot pie used to come with a salad and now comes with a small fruit cup. A salad should be offered as a substitute.
We didn’t have to wait fir a table. Our waitress was friendly and good the food was delicious. The steak was tender and good. My daughter had the tri tip dip which was great. The chocolate cake was enormous and great. The whole experience was really nice
Our waiter took over 10 minutes to come to the table to get our drink order and he did not bring the correct drink for my husband. The food was awful, the macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes were very bland, the steak didn’t have any flavor. My daughter hated her chicken tenders and mashed potatoes, my husband order shrimp with French fries and a baked potato. On the baked potato he asked for only butter, but he received extra sour cream and chives. We paid $100 for a meal that barely anyone touched their food. Truly disappointing.
First of all service was amazing! We had the same server as we had last year when we came to the water park around the same time. He really is a gem. His tentativeness, knowledge and patience is remarkable even in the mist of training an associate.
However, the hostess seemed aloof- didn't read the open table notes, seemed annoyed when asking her to check us in on open table, waited a while to be acknowledged& seated. We also thought it odd to be seated back to back in one section considering we are still under CDC advisement to social distance.
Other than that hiccup, service, food, timing, ambience, pricing- was on par.
We'll be back. Same time next year🙂
Dinner was great, service was fantastic. We will go again soon.
This was the first time eating out again..the service was excellent..the food good..but the best was seeing Toni there again…
Everything was great. Only waited a few minutes to be seated. Service was outstanding & food was delicious.
We ordered and waited for way too long, so long that our food was cold, my wife's steak looked like someone stepped on it. We sent it back, they did it right. We asked for 2 desserts on the house, they said ok. We had too ask tho! Won't be going back that's for sure.
I treated a friend for her birthday. All went absolutely well, waitress exceptional, food was tremendous. One thing...a group of young men watching the game was distracting with the yelling etc. We could not longer hear the conversation at our table. If the TV can be in one area instead of spread out through the restaurant, it would be great.
Good place to eat. You don’t have to wait too long
We went with friends and it had a great experience. Not to noisy but great environment
The server was really nice! Service was SUPER SLOW!!
Took over 45 minutes to get our appetizer
The hostess at the front didn't even see our reservation. She said oh I don't see it here. The waiter was good and fast but did not offer us more drinks or anything else. We were celebrating a birthday. We felt rushed to leave by our waiter. However the food and drinks tasted good. A bit pricey for what you order but they have good tasting food and drinks.
The food is always very good at Claim Jumper. We had a wonderful server also. She was very attentive and friendly. We had a coupon for a piece of Mother Lode cake and we were amazed at how big it was and how good. Very nice dining experience.
I fear that Claim Jumper might be going out of business. On a Thursday night there weren't many people there for dinner.
Everything was good except:
1. They're so expensive! Our bill for 3 people was $166 plus tip.
2. The staff didn't seem to know what a Rob Roy (cocktail) was.
3. They didn't have the specific type of vermouth that a Rob Roy is made with.
4. The waiter wasn't very good at getting back to us in a timely manner, and the food took a long time to arrive too.
Otherwise it was a good dining experience.
The service wasn't great this time and it looked like a toddler had been at our table before because the floor was a mess. Waited 10 min after we were seated then went to find a server, they did apologize when they came to the table. Waited a couple times after that as well. The food was delicious!
Service is slow so we left.........................
Service was lacking, food was ok. Different ambience since last here more than a year ago
Food wasn’t as good as when you first opened years ago! The service was good! We’d only come back for your AMAZING DESERTS tho! Sorry to be so blunt 😢 Maybe it was cause of the pandemic?
Nice distancing and clean tables and menus. Brussels sprouts appetizer could have been cooked longer/crispier. Waitress and waiter very accommodating and friendly.
Our server was great. We’d definitely come back and have him serve us again
The macaroni and cheese was terrible did not even have the taste of cheese. They use some type of white sauce that had no taste of what a macaroni and cheese is. And a couple of the people working there didn’t seem to be very concerned
Food was great, the place was great for family dinners and get togethers however the prices are a bit steep for any Tuesday gatherings if you want to do steak/seafood for example. We had a reservation and was seated pretty quickly and our server was great! Overall thumbs up!
Waitress was very helpful and polite. Customer service was great!
First thing, the food is greasy. Second after the server came back twice saying the clam chowder is still cooking and the third time he said they ran out of clam chowder. The server doesn’t come often to check if we are okay with our food.
The food was HORRIBLE and the service was really BAD.
The server forgot about our food and when it was served it was cold and he didn’t care when we informed him. The unfortunate thing was that he was the manager. We will NEVER EVER go back to Claim Jumper.
Our waiter was great but maybe they were short staffed because a lot was missed. We originally called and asked to book a reservation and were told no reservations were available. When we looked online reservations were available thru open table. We booked for 7:30 and got there around 530/6.... we were told that they would Mark us there as early and text if anything opened up. A family friend showed up with her party with the same amount of people 30 minutes after us and were booked at 730.... fortunately my sister went to ask how much long we would have to wait around 745 and immediately they sat us in a table that had been open the entire time we were waiting with the same amount of guests around us as had been there for our entire wait.... we marked that we were there for a birthday however as well pieces of our order, nothing was acknowledged. We tipped well because the waiter did as much as he could but I won’t be going back.
Steak is salty. Salad, sides, and dessert is good!
Big portions. Great service. Beautiful atmosphere. I’d recommend a family outing here.
Expecting more portion for the $ and more flavor I order steak and doesn't impress me and I change my side for a salad and charge me 3.99 more I finish paid almost $100.00 for 2 persons for fastfood because that's the way I feel super disappoint I never go back no quality food rate 0% never never go back
Grilled salmon, which was very salty, and premium side of Asparagus was very stringy, as the ends were not properly cut. Fish Tacos, had very little fish on tortilla. Fish & Chips batter was overcooked.
Could see flies in the outdoor dining space, which did not recommend outdoor dining area.
Food was nothing special, and service was so so so slow. Took over 20 minutes to give me my water refill
Server was wonderful, getting food was very slow, whoever helped us with a table needs to be fired!
As they readjust and reopen after COVID - some of the wait staff is very inexperienced. The food was excellent - the service was terrible.
