Claim Jumper - Fremont
Mother's Day Menus & Specials
Celebrate with an amazing Mother's Day brunch at Claim Jumper!<br>
Even with reservations we waited due to lack of wait staff. The hostess was rude and not paying attention to the issue at hand. Food did not come close to expectations. We will not return
Have a great meal. We ate in the bar area because Curtis, who was bartending was a lot of fun and a great server. The cocktails were yummy and so was the food
Ate here for breakfast several times and has been delicious every time
I really hate to be the person sending things back considering myself is in the service industry but this place was something else.
My two drinks my partner and I ordered had no liquor we sent it back and they apologized brought us back completely different drinks we drank them cause whatever ..... then our food came and it was cold and I mean like really freaking cold. I sent mine back because I was just over it. Payed for the burger my partner had and our two drinks. How long do you think our experience was ?? An hour and a half. Because not only were our orders messed up but we didn’t get checked on for 40 minutes.
So disappointed, do yourself a favor and make sure that you make reservations to eat elsewhere.
No service, took 2 hours to get food after we ordered. Train new employees.
This is a big restaurant with table service. There were other people in the restaurant properly socially distanced. Again a very spacious restaurant with good sized tables and relatively quiet for good conversation. The menu is extensive. We were seated with no wait. For lunch, we had the Asian Grilled Chicken Salad and a combo including tri tip, prawns and ribs with some sides. To drink, we had lemonade and a Coke, which were bottomless. Everything was fresh and prepared well. The bill without tip was around $61 including a 3% surcharge. This restaurant is in Pacific Commons bordering Auto Mall Parkway. Plenty of free parking around the restaurant. The waitress was attentive and accommodating.
Slow service, did not get all items, no refills on drinks or offer additional glasses of wine.
Nice big place to celebrate birthdays, etc. Good service and really good food.
Food was okay. Defiantly not worth the price we paid. There was a long wait, almost 30 mins longer than we were told. Reservations not available. Covid didn’t help.
Terrible customer service. Wait staff not attentive at all. Will not be back
Had a great time it felt good to be back inside
Pleasant lunch today. Food was good. My wife particularly enjoyed her wedge salad. Service was friendly and attentive.
- I called to make a reservation (for the same night) and the employee who answered the phone said they were fully booked, when I tried making a reservation on OpenTable, I was able to get a reservation for the time we wanted, so I am not too sure why he told us they were fully booked.
- Though the wait staff was very friendly, they were not very attentive. We ordered drinks and 2 appetizers. Our first appetizer came out quickly and the zucchini was still hard - it could have been cooked more. Our drinks came out about 20 mins after we ordered them and after our second appetizer came out.
- We ordered our dinner at 7:30 and our food did not come to our table until 8:15 and that was after asking if our food was coming.
- Manager on duty was kind and apologized and gave us a free dessert which was yummy.
- The food was just okay, not worth driving to Fremont (from San Jose) for at all. The only thing we enjoyed was the wedge salad and the cheesy garlic toast. The dessert was good, too. I would have preferred to eat at Denny's.
- COVID safety measures were followed and felt clean and safe.
Too cold inside the restaurant. Probably needed some heat
This restaurant is not ready to open. Our bus boy threw a fit because we moved to a sunny table as it was windy and freezing. He had to move a chair to the table we moved from and didn’t come back to clean our table for a bit. Waiters were doing their best but understaffed. The traditional claim jumper bread was awful and nothing like the original recipe. Hope they get it together because I love cj. We will go to market broiler next time for a much better value and experience. No heaters in the front patio. Even my husband was freezing. Not how you want to spend $100.00 on lunch.
Lovely place with welcoming staff and a cozy, family oriented atmosphere. We ordered a few appetizers cauliflower & calamari came out to be great. Big portions and great service.
Was cold outside food arrived cold as well..............................................................
I will never eat at a chain jumper again 3 out of four of our meals were cooked incorrectly. Also food in hair
The food was good and our service was great, I know this is a crazy time but there could’ve at least been heaters outside. I fine with outdoor dining but it was way too cold. We barely were able to finish our food.
Very cold outside. Bundle up. Food and service we great.
They only have outdoor seating and not a single heater anywhere to be seen❗️
Food was good atmosphere was pleasant
Very enjoyable evening!
Exquisite Thanksgiving dinner with excellent service. Highly recommended.
Outdoor dining set up was good, but on a windy day hard to avoid the chill. No heaters. Food was pretty good, but the Salmon Oscar has a ridiculously small amount of crab (about a tablespoon). Service not great, wrong food delivered twice. Somewhat inattentive. Disappointing for a holiday meal.
Not very good food for the price. More like Sizzler quality.
It was an excellent meal with excellent customer service!
The server was nice but very busy. They had working with tables at opposite ends of the restaurant. It took a very long time to have him greet us. Normally we wouldn’t mind but having two kids makes the extra wait difficult. We had finished plates pile up and sat for awhile. The manager passed by our table several times and not once smiled or greeted us or offered to take dishes away. Being a rewards member, I had some credit for my birthday which is why we dined there. The manager had to take care of it, and when she returned my members card she still wasn’t pleasant, didn’t wish me a happy birthday (which I’m definitely not crying over, but I’m saying this more so because that’s what has been done in the past). We wanted to get dessert but because of how long everything took, we opted not to. The food was okay, it’s been better in the past. I know COVID has changed a lot of things but I’ve been out to other restaurants and have had much better service and a much better experience than this one.
A little disappointed that the Sheriff Bone-In Ribeye wasn't available and that our anniversary wasn't recognized, as I put that information into the reservation, but it was a delightful dinner.
Food was terrible. Orders were not done right
Had a very pleasant lunch. Food was good and service was excellent.
Thank you for joining us indoors! We appreciate your feedback and look forward to having you join us again soon!
Service was awful and the food was cold. We were on the patio and it was chilly, but the soup should still have been hot.
Charged my cc with someone else’s meal and manager could not give me any paperwork showing charges had been reversed.
Exposed Electrical chords on the floor were a tripping hazard. They should use rugs to help.
Our server was great. He provided a good recommendation for my meal. His timing was perfect for circling back with us during our meal. We enjoy dining here.
In this era of COVID, I would have assumed that the service would have been better as there were not many people at the restaurant. 1.5 hours to get entrees is too long. Ordered garlic bread, asked 3 different times, and it finally came after we finished eating dinner. Food was good and it was a nice night to sit outside.
Not a fair analysis as we went the day of the "mass shutdown" of the restaurant industry for the pandemic.
Definitely not a special occasion spot
My husbands and my dinner came with a salad, but we didn’t get them. When we asked about them, the waitress kind of giggled and was shocked we didn’ Get them. They did arrive after our main course. A little too late.
We had a great time with friends! Claim Jumper is a wonderful place for large groups to get together!
We walked right in and was seated. Took a while to get our drinks.
