Waiter was a joke, abandoned us half way through our meal. A second server came to us and said she would be our server. I took us forever to get our check. We asked for horseradish and ketchup twice because they didn't deliver it to us the first time. Our plates we never picked up after we finished our meals for like 35 minutes. It was close to closing and one waiter or busboy decided to pull his shirt out un-un-tucked and walked around the restaurant cleaning as if the place was empty. Terrible everything. We use to go there when it was good and now the restaurant seems like it's dying. We ate there 3 weeks ago and it was bad and went back thinking it was a fluke but unfortunately it wasn't. We won't be going back sadly.

The food is always good at Claim Jumper, however the lunch menu doesn't show much. I've noticed during the years, the food items have decreased. Example would be the beef ribs. Use to get a whole rack. Now only 1 rib. I will continue to go, because the food is good.

This is not the awesome Claim Jumper that I remember from years ago which explains the nearly deserted restaurant on a Holiday weekend. Food for our table of 4 were served at different times. They ran out of their signature 6 layer cake causing a big delay for dessert. When it was served it was clearly frozen, stone cold. Portion sizes much smaller. Very disappointed.

It was Valentine's day but I had made a reservation for 8:45pm via open table as I was flying in from out of town. We arrived at around 8:35 but did not get seated until about 9:15pm. Not sure if they were full why Open Table or Claim Jumper would not allow reservation as other restaurants in the system do.

I made reservations so I didn’t have to wait that long, when I got there we waited about 30 to get seated. The reservation where not being counted. There was really no point of making reservations if they whete the going to follow.

Had a reservation, upon arrival was told of happy hour all night if you sit in the bar area. So we sat there and were handed the dinner menu and a second menu. We ordered from the second menu only since it was happy hour. Stools and chairs are too low the height of the tables so we felt like kids trying to sit at the table. Table was sticky. Took the waitress 19 minutes to place my drink order. Food was delicious and came fast. Bill came and we didn’t have the happy hour pricing. We inquired and the Waitress said oh sorry I didn’t give you that menu...we were upset to learn there was a third menu. Manager got involved but just said sorry and no accommodation was made. We weren’t offered dessert.

Great ambience, rustic mountain lodge atmosphere. Took my Dad for Valentine’s Day lunch. He’s been missing his house in the mountains of Vermont. We really liked it and the food was very good. We will be going back soon.

Great selections on the menu, satisfying portion size, and flavorful. They did not seem to have enough servers working for a Sunday noontime, with alot of people coming in. Although our waitress was pleasant, she was rushing to accommodate all the tables. It took a bit longer than expected to get a cup of coffee and our meals. Also, there didn’t seem to be enough bussers, and all the empty plates piled up and were still sitting on the table when we left.

It was 3 of us who decided to order salads, appetizers and watch the Super Bowl game. Best idea ever! We had a blast! Good service and great food and the happy hour prices couldn’t be beat anywhere. Large portions and prepared with love. Great way to watch the game and end the weekend.

Went in nobody was there waiting told the host we had reservations and I told her the name. She advised it would be a minute. During that time a bunch of people came in after we checked in. The host seated every group that came in after us. I approached a young man because my husband was getting frustrated from walking into an empty waiting area, to be seated after everyone came in 20 minutes later. He said my name wasn’t written down so I asked him to pull up online reservations I made through open table and he looked at me all shocked. Honestly reserving through here did nothing because the young lady never checked in our reservation by hand writing it down, which also makes no sense. Won’t ever reserve for here again. Using this is supposed to make things more convenient yet it did just the opposite.

Service was excellent a nice surprise on New Year's Eve. Food was great, didn't take long to get. The best part was the dessert, even though they were out of ice cream for several of the choices, the carrot cake was the best my wife and I have had.
Great experience, our second time there it will become a regular dining choice

I made a reservation on line and notified the desk when I arrived a few minutes early. My reservation was acknowledged but I was not called until I asked again and waited for a while after the designated time. when we were seated it was in the bar area which started ok but soon non restaurant people came and started pushing tables together and moving chairs to make places for larger parties to eat. This resulted in a crowded and somewhat noisy setting and was not what I expected. Our server was good but overworked.

I understand that it was Christmas Eve, and staff wanted to go home, but we had a 5:45 reservation and didn’t get seated until 6, even though half of the tables were empty. My order was wrong, so they took it back and brought back another wrong order. Plus, the baby back ribs were tough and undercooked. I’ve had plenty of good meals there, so I’m chalking this one up to bad timing

Convenient location and plenty of parking. Portions are very generous - really probably sharable. Desserts are great too although they do not have any gluten-free desserts. This location is in a busy shopping center so we appreciate that they take reservations. Its a chain so you know what you are going to get, the food is decent and service is good. Convenient place to meet my family.

I stood at least 10 minutes before anyone came to ask me what I needed...a table.

One server in a large section so it took 15-20 minutes for our order to be taken. When I got my meal...chicken tenders and a cup of soup...I recieved a half a cup (that was all that was left and the cook took his break before making more) and half the order of chicken tenders...same excuse as the soup. I will say...there was a LOAD of fries....way too many!!! I finally got more tenders...and more fries...

This was at 12:30 on a Thursday...no excuse.

The service took forever to get our food. They had no bread so we got bread with our main course. I ordered the chicken pot pie and the crust was completely raw. My wife’s chicken stuffed potato was completely dry. My dads rib-eye was very dry. The carrot cake was dry. But the mother-load chocolate cake was really good. The atmosphere was and ambience was cozy.

Claim Jumper's model has changed a lot. Portions are no longer huge and are now over priced?
It was 6:30 PM and they were out of bread. Our order was not taken until 30 min after seating (due to a shift change apparently). Calamari appetizer came well after our entree dinners were served.
Overall it was a poor dining experience and I will not be coming back.

We went for the Thanksgiving dinner special. It was crowded when we got there but we had reservations and as soon as we got to the front of the check in line we were immediately taken to a table in the bar - a bonus as we could also watch the football game. Service was friendly and prompt but not hurried. We both had the turkey special. Servings were perfect size and the food was good. We have done this in the past and the only difference this year was the increased price from previous years. If we are in town next year, we will certainly consider Claim Jumper again.

Worst experience at Claim Jumper. Service was incredibly slow(saturday night and it felt like one server was working), my wife’s drink had no alcohol in it and they had to make a new one. I ordered the “blackened steak” with mash potatoes and it had zero blackened seasoning. The potatoes also had zero flavoring. Overall very disappointing. i would have went my food back, but the service took so long we couldn’t wait another 45 minutes because we had a movie to catch.

I don’t plan on going back.
