Claim Jumper - Clackamas
Cody was our server. He was so good. Only 4 days on the job and he was a complete pro. I will request him to be our server next time I dine at your extremely clean and well social distanced establishment! Thanks!
Service was excellent from the moment you walked in. Our server Cody went above and beyond to make it the best possible in this COVID world.
One of my favorite restaurants. Glad to see it open with indoor dining. seemed a bit eerie with so many empty tables however they are doing a good job with social distancing. The food was still excellent as was the service.
We enjoyed our dinner. The TriTip was cooked to perfection and the side dishes tasted great.
Seated right away thanks to reserving a table. Server was nice but not attentive. I know covid restrictions are making things difficult. But you could offer condiments. My husband drink was refilled. Mine never was. I ordered the country fried steak which was so over fried that parts you couldn't eat without breaking a tooth. Bread seems to be a thing of the past. Maybe because of covid but they could cut in the kitchen and give individuals. The topper our server ran our cc for $8 more than our bill. Took 20 minutes to track her down to get it fixed. No more than a inscencere apology.
Maybe result from the population requirement because of the COVID, it seemed like staff wanted us to eat faster.
Food was amazing and good customer service. The restaurant was very clean. Will be there again
Good food and great service! Reservation process was smooth and the necessary covid-19 accommodations were present without ruining the dine-in experience.
we were seated promptly , our server was great, ambiance was comfortable, but can’t say the food was exciting, and finding hair in food happens but it grossed me out
Food was good. Service was fast
Food is way overpriced for the quality and the amount of time you have to wait to get anything is ridiculous. We had to wait over 30 for food to come out, 10-15 min wait for a drink, and another 20 or so minutes to get boxes and a check. No they were not super busy. This was about 5:00 on a Monday. Way overrated.
Informed the cashier that I had an open table reservation , and he did not enter it on his system. I also informed the female cashier that I had an open table reservation for 11 and apparently she hit the cancel button vs the confirm button. I called claim jumper and spoke to Michelle the manager and she informed me I needed to contact customer service at open table to correct the incompetence of the servers. Thanks open table for correcting the error.
Waitress screwed up order more than once
We noticed our server never stopped! He was a busy, busy man who was courteous and friendly, never missed a beat with our order, and had a smile on his face the whole time. The food was amazing; I had the ribeye and my date had the coconut shrimp. Both were excellent, and we could not finish the extra order of fries they brought us. Our drinks were also quite delicious. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Overpriced for the quality ... except for the desert case.
There were 7 of us. I originally reserved lunch for 6 but an extra person came. Because of I-5 freeway accident I was about 2 hours late but was immediately seated and served with our group. Service was pretty good. Others had to ask for more ice tea because server didn't come around. Otherwise he did a good job and we all had a good time. Food was good.
it was loud, but i think that's typical. would be great to have the menu on line updated. we arrived with our menu ideas in mind and then were told that the online version is completely outdated :( kind of a bummer, but overall the staff was friendly, and helpful. Very good food! (i had the stuffed potato - this is one of my favorites!)
Both dinners came out cold, had to send back to kitchen, maybe because it was Valentines Day. Had reservations, but 30 mins. later had our table. Server was very good, but not happy with the food.
We had great service! The table next to us was never waited on and they finally got up and left, when we got our appetizer and they were seated right after we sat down. We ordered the large calamari and got a 1/2 plate, another table ordered the same thing and their plate was full, not sure what happened there, portion control? While we left with a doggie box I felt for the price the portions were small; better off going to Saylors. I don't think it's going on my favorites list.
Service was good and what little food they served us was good. We were both shocked at the amount of food that was on the plates. Maybe their happy hour is a better deal than dinner is. Hard to believe it would be though.
We got there, seated within a minute of waiting. Bread came out fast and the food Was fantastic. I’m very big on drink refills and I only got one. Which is better than I can say about some places.
Expansive menu and the portions are huge. All 4 of us had very good food
It was sooo nice to walk in and be seated almost immediately. They gave us an option of two different tables to choose from. We decided to snuggle in a booth. The food and drinks was excellent and the desert was insanely good! I highly recommend the chocolate cake and the brownie!
Our experience was awesome , mainly due to our server “ Santina “. She interacted with our grandkids and even treated them to a dessert. We will be back and ask for her station from now on !
We dined with 2 young children. The food was brought out quickly - and the server was very attentive.
Food game out in a timely manner with so many people..thanks
Waitress was not very attentive. Handed alcoholic beverages to children to pass down the table instead of coming to the other side.
Ended up having to take my steak home and cook it because they did not understand the concept of medium. The first steak was WELL done and the 2nd was medium rare at best. Ended up giving up since it was a school night and the kids needed to go home. My son had the pasta and it was not good. The tortellini was not cooked neither were the bow ties. Too much sauce and not enough protein.
We were there early (before 5PM) so it was pretty quiet. It does get noisier when more people are there.
Good Food and plenty of options we had vegan and fried food and the desserts are fabulous and our Server was very attentive wish we had a location in Eugene
the whole party felt it was poor food quality for the cost of each meal.
My boyfriends birthday
Service was fine, food was fine after sending one entree back due to being incorrectly made. I would not return to this location due to the condition of the women’s restroom. It was dirty, there was a gross brown splatter all over the wall in the stall. All the soap dispensers were broken and it just felt dirty in there.
Kiki was a great server and the food was delicious thank you!
Great Salmon and the carrot cake is to die for! Matt was a very attentive server. Great evening.
Claim Jumper a favorite of ours. Ed always has filet mignon. I tried something iij ngbdifferent, tri- tip. Got it rare. Got a couple sauces from the kitchen. Mac and cheese okay but not enought saucey cheese. Garden salad like everybody else's. Ed liked his baked potato with everything.
Excellent wait person.
We are not sure what is going on with Claim Jumper. We used to love this place but they have been going through some changes. Starting with some "issues" in their system to not allow them to add points to their loyalty cards. Then the bread they eventually brought out was totally different and not in a good way.
I ordered the country fried steak and it was terrible. Two thin pieces overcooked in the worst way. And the mashed potatoes felt like they had been formed well earlier and sitting under a geat lamp. Not sure we will ever go back.
Ordered the rib -eye and the chef couldn’t get the medium well correct. Sent it back 3 times. Should have ordered the burger like everyone else in my group. Very disappointing.
Our waiter seemed to have too many tables so, we waited for a but in between service, the tri tip looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a bit, my veggies I had as a side were cold. Everyone else at our table appeared to have a good time, thats all that really matters.
It was good for a holiday evening. They ran about a half hour late on the reservations. One meal was completely forgotten. The food was all good. But, the one forgotten meal did not arrive until the rest of us were done eating. And he was given a pot pie to take home for the inconvenience. In all of our opinions what should have happened instead is, the manager should have came, apologized and comped his meal. But, we never heard a thing from the manager! Anyway things like that, while not really acceptable, can be expected on a busy holiday night. It was Christmas eve.
