Claim Jumper - Clackamas
Great food, attentive staff
A little pricey, but worth the money
Burger was cold. Sandwich was soggy and steak was cooked to well when asked for medium.
The buffet options were a little limited in offering. Ordering off of the menu was better.
wait was slow.
not a lot of people there for a saturday night.
we go every year for a birthday, will continue.
Food was good but the service was not. Restaurant was pretty slow and we were set off to the side by the bar. I felt like we were in no mans land. We weren’t a priority and felt like an after thought. The bartenders were actually our servers and they were rushed and took forever to take our orders, get food, was rare to see them. Very disappointing as we were celebrating my sons 20th birthday and I really wished the experience was better.
Sloooooooow service thought waiter had forgot we were there several times
Food was mediocre at best tasted like been sitting under heat lamp too long
Then to top it off as we go to pay find out our membership card which we purchased is now worthless as the restaurant chain has been sold
Won’t be going there again !
Family dinner for 12. Lemon zucchini delicious. Quite a variety of items ordered as 4 were teens.
First time for grandparents. Each dish had excellent presentation and fixed as ordered. Perfect menu for group with all ages. All decided that we will be back - as a group and individually. Great time
and great service. Thanks Claim Jumper!
Food and service was good but noise level was out of control. Screaming kids, adults talking very loudly over them. It echoed in there.
We made a reservation for 5 people. We arrived 25 minutes early and told her we would wait outside. Lots of people went by us to go inside. 25 minutes later more of our party arrived and we went inside to check. No one was waiting and she said she called us several times. I said we told her we were waiting outside. No apology and we were taken to our table. Waited 1 1/2 hour for food that was barely warm. Our server was very friendly. A manager came around and got us a free dessert. I can only assume it was because the food took so long, he never said! I have eaten here before, it has really gone downhill.
Our waitress was very attentive, and friendly.
The food was outstanding.
Our reservation situation was messed up. We were there on time, but we’re later emailed to tell us we hadn’t shown up. Quite disconcerting!
That left a bad taste in our mouths (excuse the pun).
Ribs and chicken were awesome
Ambience was great service was good my biggest complaint is my steak was undercooked when they brought it to me the steak was swimming in blood on the plate ( medium rare ) medium is hot pink center I try not to send things back to kitchen rest of the meal was great
First of all I don't have any complaints, We asked to be set in a quiet area which they did, however, soon after they set other people around us who were loud talkers and placed a family of five across the aisle from us who let their young daughter run up and down the walkway which was annoying. I did check other seating areas before I left and wrote down their table numbers so when I come back I'll better know the layout.
My wedding day
The food took a very long time to come and it was not hot so I am not sure why we waited so long, It was not busy either. Our server took a long time to come to our table to take orders, and to check in with you after we ordered about the wait time, then when we got our food no check in about if we need anything else, while eating I did not get water refilled.
Very poor service and the food was not that good for the price and service.
No would not recommend anyone to come.
Food and drinks were amazing! I loved their Bloody Mary drink with the bacon... it was the best!
I like Claim Jumper, but their Sunday Brunch is mediocre at best. Hostess was nowhere around when we arrived. Took several minutes until she showed up. Once seated, it took 5 to 10 minutes for the server to show up. Ordered drinks and they were very slow to be delivered. Probably 10 minutes. Brunch selection was uninspired. Probably won't be back for Brunch. Would be willing to give dinner another try.
Food was really good. A few bad things our server said she would bring bread and never did. gave us our check and instead of cashing us out took the table next to us order.
Twelve of us arrived and needed to leave in one hour. The staff made it happen while being cordual and very professional. Food was hot and we were all pleased.
It was just an om experience. I asked the front of house to ask the server surprise my son with a specific birthday dessert and the server came by and said "so we have dessert coming right?" Which really annoyed me because I wanted it to be a surprise. Other than that everything was ok, not bad but not amazing.
All of my clients enjoyed themselves and the staff was very friendly! Definitely plan to do this at claim jumper again!
This restaurant has been a long time go to for me. I have always had great food and service. I went to the Father's Day buffet and was totally disappointed. The scrambled eggs were hard. The yokes in the eggs benedict were hard. The variety of food available was much less than previous buffets I have had here. Food trays were empty for extended time. The price had increased while quantity and quality both decreased. Service was so so at best. I am hoping this visit was a fluke and its long standing reputation will remain intact.
Food for Father’s Day was average at best, nothing special, try tip was covered in pepper and no other flavor. Most of the hot items were very low or were empty for long periods of time. For the money it was not worth it. Could have gone to Denny’s and had the same thing for half the cost. No value for the quality and the price.
Tortilla soup was awful. Salad was good. Just spent 200 at Jake's crawfish and no points to redeem? Disappointed.
We went to Claim Jumper because we hadn't been in awhile. Everything was as good as prior visits. We started with our drinks and sat for some conversation. Then, for dinner, my wife ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs and I ordered the fish tacos. Very tasty! We had the butter cake for dessert, also good.
Appetizers came out with the meal and were therefore wasted. Would not have ordered them if I knew they were coming out with the meal. Money wasted!
Consistent quality, great menu!
Our waitress was overwhelmed and we waited forever for each aspect of the meal. The tables around us had more people than we did and their waiters were there three times as much as ours was. Very disappointing.
The hot food was luke warm to cold, even tho' it was in sterno trays. The food was mediocre. Some sterno tray lids were hard to open and once open they would not close without assistance. Pancakes and waffles do not do well in sterno trays. They were gummy and tough do to the steam in the trays. The waiter had to be flagged down every time. He made very few stops at the table. I was ready to go to the cashier and pay for the brunch when he finally showed up with the bill.
The hostess was awesome the waitress was awesome.
The other 3 people in our party seemed to enjoy their food but my fiancé did not get the vegetables for her meal and I could not eat the shrimp pasta dish. The shrimp were over cooked and hard like they were microwaved to long and the pasta was dry. Maybe it sat under hot lights for too long. Other than that we really like your restaurant.
Such a great menu with something for everyone. All the food was excellent for the 4 of us.
i used to love claim jumper but my last visit wasn't so pleasant. our waiter brian seemed like he hated his job and didn't want to be there. they've changed their stuff up. the steak quality seems to be lowered. they used to cook steaks perfectly every time and that's not the case anymore. i asked for medium well which still has some pink, and it came out waaaay overdone. normally even if you overcook a ribeye, it's still tender, but this was so overcooked i couldn't even chew it. it took about 10 minutes to track brian down, and then he seemed mad about me saying something about it and gave me an attitude about it. when it came out it was medium rare. i didn't want to complain again so i just ate it. the sides aren't as good anymore and they charge you for "upgraded sides". since when was asparagus an upgraded side? overall my meal was not good, and i got sick that night and the next morning. so sad because i've been coming here since they opened.
It was a family get together. Place was loud so server had a hard time hearing our orders. At times it was hard to hear our conversation at the table
Brunch buffet was better than expected. All the food was delicious and not your typical cheap buffet food, and the price sets you back the cost of a normal dinner there, so it was definitely worth it. Just make sure you have name time set aside for a nap afterward.
Jacob was great server!
I would definitely not suggest their brunch. Way over priced for the food quality. The carving and omelette stations were so backed up, I didn’t get either because the line was a 100 miles long. It took forever to get our drinks, and then again to get our bill. D-
Waitress was amazing! Unable to keep up with drink orders at the bar
The service was great. I love the atmosphere there, too. However, neither my husband nor I found our entrees exceptional. I did not even finish mine.
I ordered fish and chips and they were very meh! Not a lot of flavor and the fries were overcooked, just not that good. We had the discussion that Burgerville is better.
The steaks I saw from a distance looked tasty and my salad was good.
The server was good too. So an overall 3 out of 5 mostly goes to the server and ambiance.
