   I have been looking for a fried oyster that is similar to oysters I had many years ago. I explained this to my server and she said, "I'm sure our chef can do that". I ordered this for an appetizer and they were so amazing that I ordered more for dinner. The chef is so versatile and creative!! Bravo! The server was polite and attentive and the ambiance was very beautiful. I recommend this for all occasions. Thank you Claddagh for one of the best dining experience that I've had in many years. I will be back!!

   Arrived and promptly met at the door and taken to our table which was ready to go. We enjoyed the food very much, biscuits great, shrimp tempura great, surf and turf fantastic!

   Food and service for appetizer and main course very good. Disappointed as special request for dessert stated on reservation(small cake and a couple of candles ) was not available or ignored. Substitute of frozen brownie and sparkling candle sent back as unacceptable

   Service was slow and the pork chop that my husband had for dinner was very fatty. I paid $29 for a 1 pound lobster...very overpriced and then wanted to switch out my potatoes for lobster risotto and had to pay $5 more. I understand the extra cost...sort of, but it is annoying especially considering the price of the lobster. The kale caesar salad was delicious as was the chowder that my husband had. Dessert was also very good. Considering the cost of a dinner for the 2 of us, felt it was overpriced!

   Charlottetown's prices are way out of line. 40 dollars for simple lobster, 2.50 an oyster?

   We only had a night or two on Prince Edward Island and lucked out with food all around. However, Claddagh House is a definite standout. Everything we had was fabulous. My husband and I decided to share an entree. When it was delivered to the table, we thought it looked a little small (no problem - we could just order something else if we were still hungry). But it was so rich and filling that we were more than satisfied. (Well - we saved a little room for dessert.)

   Every summer I come to PEI for a visit. Every time I HAVE to book the Claddagh Oyster House. It truly is the best restaurant I've been to by far. I've been to many but this is the BEST. I ended up eating there both nights because I knew I wouldn't be disappointed and I wasn't. Both servers were exceptional and the food was amazing. Love the atmosphere! Hats off to the best chef ever. I tell everyone about this restaurant when they come to Charlottetown.
