   We went for a family dinner on a Friday at 5:30. Big mistake language at the bar was NOT family friendly. We ate quickly and left. Will not be back. We complaied to our server and manager.

   Great food and service! I hadn't been to this place in years (don't live in the area) but am glad I returned. Our lunch was very filling and our server was friendly and personable.

   Cabbage rolls off the appetizer menu were fantastic. Our main entrees were just ok. Service was a challenge, we only saw 2 servers for the entire restaurant on a Sunday at 5:30 p.m. We were placed in kind of a nook library, and it was a sunny day. There were no shades on the windows we could pull, and the sun was in our eyes. When we said something to the server, she said yes, we do get many complaints, but never offered to move us. After we paid the bill, we never saw our server again. I think we will try another place in the area.

   All 3 of us didn't feel good the next day after eating here. We all had the fish. The service was remarkable better than the last few times we had been there, however, that wasn't saying too much. The place used to be PACKED all the time, now it's always empty. Last time we went we didn't come back for a really long time because the service was the absolute worst we've ever had any where, any time. Again, it was much better this time, but the food made us feel ill, so it will probably be a long time again before we return.

   We usually have very good food at Claddagh Irish Pub but on this occasion the food was not even close to acceptable. I usually order the fish and chips which are always good. This time I thought I would get something different. I got the shrimp and andouille sausage pasta. I have never had worse shrimp. They were stuck together in lumps and as chewy as erasers. To their credit they didn't charge me for the pasta and replace it with fish and chips which were good as always. Learned two lessons. Only order Irish Pub food at an Irish Pub and don't go to Claddagh for dinner on trivia night.

   The food was very good & the service great. The down side was we sat on the patio because it was such a lovely evening but it was Trivia Night & the microphone inside was also projected on the patio - the voices were so loud it made conversation impossible. We cut our dining experience & ordering short then found a quieter spot to finish the evening.

   I highly recommend the Monte Cristo Sandwich; it's enough for two and delicious. Good French Onion soup, Jameson burger and Patty Mac. Efficient, friendly server. We will definitely go back.

    My husband and I went to Claddagh to celebrate our 1st Wedding Anniversary with a few close friends. We had our Wedding Reception there the year prior and it was magical! Our experience on the 29th however, was not so magical. After we left I wasn't very satisfied with a number of things, based on the expectation that had been set every other time we dined there, so after much deliberation, I called and spoke to the Chef and then the General Manager called me after. Both were so genuine in their concern for our experience and their restaurant. They invited our whole group back last week for a "redo" as they wanted to make our Anniversary special. Wow! It was such an amazing experience, everything I had looked for the first time and more! My husband and our friends had such a great time. It was everything we had desired the first time around and more. We had a wonderful table in one of their beautiful library nooks, so intimate and cozy! There were daisies on the table, which were the flowers at my wedding (Pretty sure it was just a coincidence, but a delightful touch, regardless). Our server was phenomenal, so cheerful and attentive. The food was scrumptious. The Beef Stew and Sausage Board were two of the favorites at the table. My steak was cooked perfectly, one of the better steaks I have had in a while! Since it was a Tuesday, we stayed for Trivia and had an absolute blast. Overall, such an amazing, redeeming experience, speaking volumes to the level of care and pride Claddagh takes in the service they provide. From one restauranteur to another, Thank you.
