CK’s our family owned business believes our business should be part of the solution and not part of the problem. We serve globally inspired food with an emphasis on seasonal and local ingredients. We recycle everything we can: metals, glass, paper and cardboard. Our used cooking oil goes to the local buisness man for his bio-fuel trucks. The vegetable scraps become compost for our garden. 15% of our energy is produced by our rooftop solar panels and solar hot water is on the way soon. Many of us commute to work on foot or by bike. Our food comes from several local farms and ranches and we purify our drinking water. Our goal is fresh healthy food that will feed your body and your soul.

We had a lovely server and lovely patio table. The wedge was much better than most, and the crab cakes were good too. We ordered the lamb medium which was our mistake. Medium rare would have been better.

Requested a patio table when reservation was made as had company in town. When we got there, 15 minutes early, we were told only indoor tables available despite it only being 5:45p on a Monday. Food was very tasty as usual and our waitress fantastic. Only other issue was the squash blossom dish, which has cheese in the middle, were cold as if just out of fridge. Despite these two issues, we will continue our regular visits to CKs

I can't count the number of times I have been to CK's. It is the place for special occasions, for out-of-town guests, or for just a wonderful meal. The menu is creative, fresh, delicious and beautiful and the service is top notch. The dishes use local produce and meats, seasoned with a creative and insightful hand. Their combinations are wonderful and there's always a special that's a winner. If you are gluten free, this is the best GF bread that exists. There are also vegan options, including desserts that are beautiful and divine. Cocktails are creative, including mocktails, and the wine list is very good. Did I mention I have been there more times than I can count?

Although I've been in the bar at CK's I'd never eaten there. The ambiance is stellar and the staff were all amazing, engaging, and friendly. We were given excellent advice about the wine by the server and it was fantastic. The food was very, very good but I just couldn't give it five stars because it certainly wasn't the best meal I've had. I had the catch of the day (halibut) and some crab cakes on a bed of coleslaw which was excellent. I definitely recommend CK's as one of the Wood River Valley's best restaurants.

I want to be fair as the patio was packed and there was a party of I think 17 people inside so I am taking that into consideration. I just don’t think they were staffed up properly and our server was just not very good.
