Chef Matteo Zamboni showcases the best of Australian produce in a menu filled with seasonal inspiration from Italy’s most famous regions (try; Beef Carpaccio, Prawn Mafalde, Mandarin Duck). Civico 47 is now welcoming BYO wine every lunch and Thursday all day! If you’ve got a something special at home, or have a favourite wine that’s not on our list - now’s your chance to bring it with you and enjoy at Civico along side chef Matteo Zamboni’s modern Italian menu. Corkage is $25 per bottle at lunch and dinner (Thursdays only). We have beautiful Plumm glassware, decanters where required, and advice on food pairing from our resident sommelier Luke Collard. T&C’s: Maximum one 750ml bottle (or equivalent) per adult customer. Not available when dining on our Pranzo or First Table offers. BYO is at our discretion for groups of 7 or more, please speak to the restaurant for more information.

This is a first class venue and reminds me of what it’s like to be at a proper restaurant. It sounds very old-fashioned saying this but if you dined here you’ll know what I mean.

Service was quite good, as was the overall ambience. The food was also very good, without being remarkable. The rib eye steak was a little stringy but generous in quantity. It was sufficient for two of us to share. Especially tasty and well-cooked were the potatoes (side dish) with rosemary and sea salt. The wait staff were friendly and happy to take some group photos. Overall, the experience was very pleasant without it being overwhelming.

The first thing I noticed walking in to this beautiful space was the perfect lighting and ambience. Its an intimate setting with low lighting on the tables and warm lighting on the walls behind the booth seats. Service was of a high level, respectful and attentive even with some of the dietary requirements at our table. Preferring a mocktail choice, I was delighted that the options were carefully crafted and the non-alcoholic spritz was the best mocktail I'd tried anywhere. The food was perfect in every way and there were again choices on par with the rest of the menu for those with a gluten free preference. Thank you for a lovely evening. I have already booked our return for our next event.

What a superb meal we had here celebrating my husbands birthday. Everything was perfect and the food was sublime.Without a doubt one of the best meals we have ever had.The service was impeccable..We cannot wait to return with our friends. Do not miss this restaurant you will not be disappointed. The chefs special menu was exceptional, so creative and delicious.
