The service was terrific. Our server was friendly and very helpful with food and drink recommendations. Her name was Nadia. Our party was very happy. We’d go back again.
Food was amazing and very affordable.
Tiffany was the best and my eggs were cooked perfectly.
This is place is a real gem. And the staff is outstanding. Go there as soon as you can.
The hostess staff was not very friendly, and they had to seat us in the bar area with two small children, said no other tables were available. Our server was very attentive and friendly.
We met a friend for a farewell dinner and had a nice time. We brought our kids and they had a small but good kids menu (pizza, burgers, chicken nuggets), and gave them kids cups and had a page to color. Our party had the salmon, barbecue platter, and a pasta dish. The food was delicious and our drinks were nicely done. Our waitress did a wonderful job - she was very attentive. The hostess was not friendly or helpful, and the place is LOUD - so loud we were practically yelling across the table, so this isn’t a great place for conversation or a romantic date.
I went to City Works to celebrate my graduation. The food was tasty, though the burgers my parents ordered were well done (they ordered it medium) and the fries were cold (our server was very nice and brought us fresh hot fries).
Server wouldnt Come to table to get us more coffee, drinks, etc. He took over 20mins to get our order and after we got our food never checked in on us.
Service took long, food was ok. Small portions for the price and quality.
Drinks are pretty great. Glad that they have a gluten sensitive and dairy free brunch choice, but I ordered the white wedding frittata and basically got an egg white omlette with a few pieces of asparagus on it. It was supposed to come with an avocado salad on top. I told the staff and they brought me a sad plate of arugula, I had to show them the menu to prove that my meal was missing a key element. By the time it was addressed I had already finished most of my food. Made the experience pretty meh.
Good food, good service. Nice space.
Had the bacon burger and it was delicious! Hubby had the Nashville hot chicken wrap and loved the taste as well. Looking forward to going back.
Great evening out! We sat outdoors, under the heated awning & it was great. Though the evening was chilly, we were still comfortable. Really good food (chicken tacos and filet sliders), and fun flights of beer + cider. Great service and friendly staff. We'll definitely be going back!
City Works in Pittsburgh is one of the few places that have all their beer taps available! The food and service is always great! We were there with friends this past Friday night and we had a new server named Drew. He was funny, attentive and made our evening that much better!
Best place ever!!!!!
Awesome atmosphere, incredible beverage selection.
The only complaint I have is their should be more healthier appetizers and small plates everything is fried ! Even if you did different flatbreads or pizza ! Lots of people now are looking for healthier options . But your the only great place in market square these days !!
1st time there but definitely will not be my last. Food and service was excellent!
On nice days the windows are wide open to make the outside inside. Good Covid protocols.
We went there on a recommendation for my son's 21st birthday. Staff was amazing! Food was outstanding! We will definitely be going there again.
It was very nice. We had an amazing time. Our server was awesome as well.
Had a really fun time! Wait staff was awesome and the food was delicious, especially the salmon and the Mac-n-cheese!
We ordered the bbq platter and everything on it was cold. Not just tepid but cold. For the restaurant being so crowded one would think that food would be served hot.
2nd time visitors from out of state...lived up to our memories of how good it was the first time!
City works was great as always. Great menu, great staff, always a 0leasure to visit.
Great place and great food!
The only negative from our dinning experience was the appetizer we ordered, Buffalo chicken wing dip. We’re from Buffalo, NY and our Buffalo chicken wing dip is different than the one we had here. There were massive chunks of chicken in this dip with red peppers and carrots and other veggies that just weren’t necessary and overpowered the actual dip. It wasn’t spicy or had any sort of kick to it as one would assume ordering “Buffalo” sauced chicken wing dip. We still ate it to try it because it was different than your standard/original dip but all we could taste were the vegetables. In Buffalo, NY it’s as simple as: cream cheese, shredded chicken, Frank’s hot sauce, blue cheese, and sharp cheddar cheese. The rest of our food was good however! The server was nice, just super busy as almost every table was filled. Overall, we’d come here again when visiting mainly for the ambiance and drinks!
A friend and I dined for brunch because I was in the mood for a good Bloody Mary. I definitely got just that. The garnishes were delicious, as was the drink itself. My friend got French toast with a Bailey’s filling and berry compote on top and I got a breakfast bowl that had grits, sausage, and braised pork belly. We both enjoyed everything and said we need get back as soon as possible! Oh, and our server, Courtney, was very friendly and helpful while helping us to navigate the menu and suggest items.
Excellent Brunch and service is always fantastic.
Loved the brunch. The French toast was amazing!
Very nice expansive selection of beer and great food. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. Will definitely go back again.
Our waitress was amazing and super helpful when we asked her a bunch of questions. The food was delicious and we had a great time!
Bartender was fantastic!
Great service, tasty food, hreat beer and bourbon selection, comfortable setting. Great place to enjoy a bite downtown.
They have the best service
I tried to pay they the app and I believe I was charged 2x
1st time there. Excellent service. Waitress named Angelica nice, friendly very good in all aspects. Plenty of food, nice variety cost was reasonable. Drink's were very good. Place was clean well kept and open concept. Recommend it very highly. 5 Stars all around.
The staff are beautiful and very helpful, friendly and professional...I have eating there numerous times and all the staff are great.
Great night at City Works. We loved all of the cocktails we tried and the food was great. The best part was our awesome server - I just wish I could remember her name! We will be back!
