Overall good meal and good service. City Works is consistently good and I thoroughly enjoy their mimosa flights served during brunch
Food was good and beer selection was awesome! Only problem was I made a reservation and asked to sit outside. When they seated us they said it would be an hour wait for a table outside.
Overall - fine. Expected a bit more ambience though for date night and was not impressed with seating given. (6 seat high top next to bathroom for just the two of us). Restaurant was out of the wine I ordered... well, 3 of the different wines I ordered which was disappointing. Restaurant also did not have 2 of the beers my date attempted to order. Food and service was great as usual besides the initial headaches.
Our waitress was great! Food and drinks came out quickly. Atmosphere was relaxing.
Food was great. Awesome beer choices.
We both ordered the hamburger and it was tasteless. Never had a burger with no taste. Would never order it again. Service was good but the food was not good.
City Works - King of Prussia is a clean and aesthetic restaurant. They have multiple seating options (bar, high tops, elevated booths, traditional tables and outdoor) and the host/hostess staff were warm and inviting. Our party was there for brunch on the 4th of July holiday and the restaurant was not overly busy when we arrived. Our waitress was not very attentive and contributed to a less than enjoyable dining experience. When our food came it looked appetizing and each of us did get the dish we had ordered. One of the members of our party ordered The Boss and asked for a mid-rare steak. The steak came out well done. We attempted to get our waitress's attention about the overcooked steak, but she did not come back to our table and we were only able to get her attention when she went to wait on one of her other tables some 20 minutes after our meals arrived. In addition to the over cooked steak, the eggs on the rest of our meals (Easy Like Sunday Morning, What's The Story Morning Glory and Breakfast in America) were all over cooked but still edible. The biscuit in the Breakfast in America was overly salty and the garlic puree on the Easy Like Sunday Morning was so powerful you could smell it as soon as it was sat on the table. Each of our meals also came with cheesy potato casserole and they were all stone cold. Once we were able to get our waitress's attention about the steak she did offer to have it recooked, but our party member declined due to the amount of time it would have take to remake it. The Manager did have the meal removed from the bill and did send us two Jon Bun Jovi's (cinnamon rolls) for the inconvenience. Overall we were not impressed with the food or the service and will not be going back to City Works - King of Prussia.
Just meh, food was okay, not great. Service was efficient but place looks like it needs a thorough cleaning. Good bar scene but I was there for the food, not the bar.
I made a reservation here because the brunch menu looked good. I got the stuffed french toast (I believe the menu has it as "sweet child o' mine) and it was amazing! My family with me ordered lunch items and they were all delicious as well. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was here considering it had more of a sports bar vibe. The service was pretty good. Our food came out quickly and our server was okay. Our server seemed less than enthused to be there. She was still polite and treated us well but just seemed like she didn't want to be there. Oh well, maybe just having a tough day so I still say we had a great experience here. I imagine City Works would be fun during an Eagles or Phillies game due to the wide selection of beer and TV's, seems like a fun place!
Ate outside it was really nice.
Great service. Thanks
We had fun! Would have preferred outside seating however >1 hour wait for a table.
Food was fantastic. Service was pretty good, but we ask for something twice and never received it. I think they were overwhelmed. But very nice.
Food and drinks were good, service not so much. It was a slow day, but then server was talking to her friends at the bar and left us waiting to grab us more drinks and the check
Food was great, waiter was great, good environment, had an awesome time
Very kind manager and staff at KOP. It makes a huge difference having folks who care about people and customer service. Everyone who worked there seemed genuinely friendly and patient, including our waitress. And on a busy Sat night. Kudos to the management for hiring great people. Oh and the food and drinks were excellent too.
Was great food and drinks. Just a bit loud and lively for a do or die sixers game.
Our first server was very rude and just didn’t seem like she wanted to be working that day. We asked for a new server and after that our experience was amazing. The food was so good. You have to try the smoked wings!!
The fried pickles were awesome - the cheese curd was delicious and overall the Nashville Hot chicken wrap - - highly recommend.
Good food, nice atmosphere. If you're going to eat outside, make sure you ask for a table in the shade. Indoor dining is loud. Our waitress Arijana was fantastic!
Hi none of the servers where wearing masks and the tables weren’t social distanced well. The food was pretty good but I felt uncomfortable being that Covid isn’t over. Even if the government tells you you don’t have to use common sense to make the customers feel comfortable!
Die Bedienung war so schlecht es gibt keine Worte super super schlecht .. total tätowiert und arrogant ohne Ende nix war das null Komma null totale verarschung
Service was slow. Food was only ok. Ambiance was nice.
Fun and energetic place to eat. All age groups except for young children. Plenty of TV's. It's really noisy. It's NOT a place to have a romantic dinner but it's a great place to meet up with friends.
The menu is great, and food was good. I did get the bacon cheeseburger, but did not finish it. There were no condiments served with it and I had to ask. I thought the bill was a bit expensive for 5 people, who had 2 drinks each, some apps, and an entre. The bill was $240 with the tip.
The worst part of it was the server. He was a bit arrogant and was not very responsive. One person ordered a drink with Gray Goose vodka and the server actually waved his index finger back and forth at him. To me, that was really uncalled for. He also ignored the plates from the appetizers, the drink glasses that were empty. I stacked up the dishes and the there were a lot of glasses on the table. So, when dinner came we were moving things out of the way to get space. Last, we just got a bill literally handed to us asking who is taking it? Did not even bother to check on us through out dinner, and toward the end, before giving us the bill ask us if we wanted anything else.
I was a server and a bartender, so maybe my standards are a bit high, but he was not good. And, I noticed how he interacted with food runners.. he seemed disrespectful, almost ordering them around.
If it wasn't for Covid, his tip would have been 5% at best.
And, I would recommend but not him as a server. Sorry, I do not remember his name.
NOT BEING A MEAT EATER, THEIR "IMPOSSIBLE BURGER IS DEFINITELY THE NEXT BEST THING!!!
Met friends for lunch. The menu was diverse enough for our different taste. We were seated quickly and served just as quickly.
There was a mouse inside the place while we were there and instead of taking care of the situation, they made us (including the table next to me) move to the bar.
Our first visit here. It has a nice vibe, comfortable seating and friendly staff. The food was awesome. I would recommend the kung po cauliflower for an explosion of flavors. We enjoyed everything we ordered and we were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices. Kudos! We will visit again soon.
We made reservations for brunch on a Sunday morning, and arrived to find a large crowd waiting to be seated. The staff told us that they were understaffed due to difficulty hiring from Covid government unemployment benefits, and we ended up waiting 45 minutes before being attended to. Also, the brunch food was poorly cooked and was nothing special.
If they are understaffed they should cut their hours, not reduce the quality of their service. We won't be back any time soon.
Great spot for brunch! Many interesting dishes to choose from.
Delicious! Outside area was so nice. Our server was PHENOMENAL!!!! First time visiting for both of us. We lived it!!! Receptionist very accommodating. Again our service was THE BEST!
Made reservations for this past Sunday for 4. It wasn’t particularly busy & there were 3 people at the host stand. We were seated right away but never spoken to again so after 15 minutes of neglect we decided to leave. One of the hosts told us “thanks, have a good night!” Absurd.
Amazing place! Get food and service-
I asked for a medium rare burger, but it came out rare. I sent it back and came back rare again. Spoke to manager and 3rd time was the charm. Great burger when cooked correctly.
21st birthday celebration
I ordered the chopped salad, and it was fair, at best. For $13 I would expect the portion to have been larger and have more chix on it.
Our food was excellent, the service was superb, the atmosphere was friendly – overall a wonderful experience!
Great service & food! Nice selection of beer. Definitely recommend!
