City Works - King of Prussia
It's a fun restaurant; loud with large windows so many people are eating outside. A good amount of veggie options but wish there were more veggie appetizers. A little too loud for my taste but my family loved it.
good upbeat atmosphere. Great TV's. Food was ok.... nothing over the top but just ok for typical bar food.
The food wasn’t good but our server was polite and quick.
Sat us right next to a speaker and at a table where the sun was glaring right in ur face even though other tables were open. Took 15 mins before our server came, who was friendly enough but still shouldn’t sit and wait that long. Overall service was slow the food was just ok. I ordered a second beer and waited and waited and waited and waited. I had to flag down server and he’s like oh that explains the extra beer at table behind you. Goes to get my beer and at this point food is done. Split it with my husband to get out of there . Still charged me for the beer (even though other table got my original one for free). I was there for an early birthday celebration and had selected celebrating birthday when making reservations. Never even acknowledged it. Meanwhile all the other places around City Works in KOP Town Center go out if their way to acknowledge it etc. Everything was over priced for such an average meal at best and slow service

Solid pub food; service 2x has been brutal
I chose this restaraunt because of the gluten free options. I ordered the city works burger and fries. The server was pleasant and asked the cook how the fries were prepared, which I appreciated. The burger was cooked to order but was dry and lacked seasoning (bland). The g/f bun was average quality (Red Robin has a much better g/f roll). There was a thick layer of dust on top of the booth we sat in and took away from my dining experience. Overall, it was just average on all levels, nothing outstanding. I would not go back again.
Fantastic service and great staff!
Hi there, we're glad you had a nice time at City Works! - Staley
Drinks were horrible and when the manager asked...I told him...he said he would remove from the bill
But never did it
I will not be back here for a cocktail
EVER...33.00 for two horrible drinks
Horrible service!!! Food was just ok, salmon came on a piece of wood saturated in oil running all over, salad came without dressing, waitress was no where to be found, also waitress had a bad attitude as soon as we sat down and we were very nice to her!! I was very disappointed we chose that restaurant. Will not recommend it to anyone I know, and I know a lot of people that eat out.
Hi there, I'm sorry you had a disappointing experience at City Works. That doesn't meet our standard of quality and service that we aim for, and I am sincerely sorry you had this experience. I appreciate you leaving your feedback. - Staley

Hi Rebecca, I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to City Works! I will pass your compliments on to Marquis :) - Staley
Still a great place to eat, sports on several TV’s, and the open patio.
It’s a nice place with a really nice atmosphere, and when they have the outside open it’s fun to dine out there. I have been here 3 times and each time something different is wrong. First time was long wait time and prices of beer ($8 for a 12oz??). Second time was issues with food. Third time was terrible service. This past time, we were seated outside (3 people) and had to wait 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. She brought us water without us asking, which was nice. Then it took her an additional 20 minutes after we placed a drink order (1 beer) for her to take our food order. Our food and drinks came out at a good pace, however. After we were 1/2 way finished with our meal she dropped the check off without asking if we wanted another beer (even though one person said that they were trying to decide on a beer). It took another 20 minutes for her to come back over and we asked if we could split the check (which I know is annoying, but most servers ask prior to printing the check). She was visibly annoyed with us and came back and tossed the checks on the table without saying a word. I don’t know if I will come back.

Great beer and a good time!
Food ok, nothing exceptional. Terrific beer selection. Too noisy if u want to have a conversation- sound system blaring.
The menu was very limited. It had changed since the last time we were there. The service was not very good. The waitress was not very attentive. We had finished eating by the time she came back and asked if we needed anything.
Was disappointed this time dining here. Especially since they no longer offer the Shrimp Tacos on the menu.
We were celebrating a bridal shower and the manager comped our champagne. Great service!
Hi Devon, I'm glad you had a fun time at City Works! Thank you for visiting us! - Staley
Overall a good meal. The main attraction is the large selection of beer. Those who don't drink will still find the food tasty. The portions are of moderate size.
Slow service and food was over cooked.
Food was delicious and our server was responsive to our every need

I made a reservation at 5:45PM on June 1st 2019. When I was making the reservation, open table gave the the choice of sitting on their patio or inside. It was a nice evening, so i made our reservation for outside. Once we arrived, they told me that “a reservation guarantees you a table inside, but patio is first come first serve” and that they don’t know why that was an option when booking our table. They also told me that it would be another 30-40 minutes if we wanted to sit outside. We put our name in, grabbed a drink at the bar and waited for our table. Once sat outside, our server almost completely forgot about our table. My husband and i only put in one more drink a piece and one entree a piece and had to flag down our server 3 times for silverware. I love City Works, but this experience definitely soured my date night with my husband.

City works delivers a consistently good meal. Had the ahi tuna salad. It was very good. It was a work lunch so didn’t get to partake in their extensive beer list. Out server, Nicki, was superb as always- fast and friendly.
Really tasty brunch items. Love the habanero hash browns every time. The Churchill Bloody Mary is 20 oz of goodness at a reasonable price ($12). The outdoor patio is very pleasant with a more x of booths and tables, high tops and low tops, sun and shade. Great for summer brunch or lunch.

Celebrating my birthday overall we had a good time the waiter forgot to refill our drinks and she forgot to put someones food order in. She made up for it by giving it to us for free. I will come back again. She was a nice lady. Love the food even though some of our food was cold. At the end of the day we will be back.
When we arrived at city works they informed us they don’t take reservations for outside dining. Your apt clearly shows outside or inside a little unnerving to say the least . So we had to wait 30 minutes for a table that was not outside 😡
This was my third time dining here. The food has always been good. We had a burger and grilled chicken sandwich. The service this time was better than past visits. We made an opentable reservation to sit outside, the host told us the outside seating option on open table doesn't get noted in their system - so we had to seat in the very noisy full dining room. My fiance was impressed by the many beer options. Fair priced options considering the area.
Hi there, I'm glad you had a good time at City Works—thank you for visiting! - Staley
Food quality was excellent. Appetizer portions were very small. Entree portions were a good size though. Service was poor. Had to ask for utensils. One person in our party had to get up and get a napkin because our server was no where to be found. Our waters were not filled up until late in the dinner. They need to work on service and appetizer portions. The food is really good. Great selection of beers too.
Quick weekday lunch spot

Good place to go and have a beer with friends, Or watch sports! Filet sliders were great! French fries were cold !
Good food, but slow service. Waitress did her best
Hi there, thank you for providing your feedback! We hope you'll visit us again soon. - Staley
Excellent dirty blue cheese martini, raw bar octopus and buratto
Excellent service. Our server was new - he was excellent. Food was good.
The waitress was very good. My burger was not medium was to pink but I never send food back. Don't know if I will try here again portions are a little small for the money
Hi Tracy, I'm glad you had a nice experience at City Works. Thanks for your feedback, I will pass it along to our management team. - Staley
The restaurant looks very trendy. The service was a bit slow and the patio chairs were not that comfortable. The food was good but nothing outstanding. Did like the fact that it's away from the traffic and parking while the parking still is convenient.
The food was just blah this time. We might need to pass next time.
Hi Beth, I'm sorry to hear that you had a disappointing experience at City Works. Thank you for providing your feedback. - Staley
I started night at bar. Service was good and drinks excellent. My dining experience was completely different. The waitress was no where to be found as we diner had to wav her down whenever we needed a drink. The sale I ordered came out with a big black hair on it so had to send back. The onion rings on sale were not edible because there was so much salt on them. Would not go back here to dine only hang out at bar.
Hi John, I'm so sorry to hear about your experience at City Works. That is definitely NOT typical of the level of quality and service we aspire to. The hair in the food is completely unacceptable. I will speak with our management team and let them know about this so they can provide additional training and support where necessary. Thank you for leaving your feedback. - Staley
Excellent service, good quality food. Reasonable prices. Comfortable booth seating, noise level moderate.
Hi there, I'm glad you enjoyed City Works! We look forward to seeing you again soon! - Staley
Probably wouldn't go again. Wasn't terrible but I've had better micro-chain-type food in the area (Iron Hill). Service was slow to be not crowded on a Sunday around 12. Food was decent but pretty greasy/heavy. Side salad with a burger was super small. Didn't really get drink refills. May be a better place if you're going to have drinks and not just enjoy some company.
