Good food , well priced. Good wine.
Food good but service very slow.
Tracy was excellent as a server. The BBQ pork nachos appetizer were excellent. We had Fish and chips Nd filet mug in sliders and would definitely have again. Loud, but fun, atmosphere.
Amazing restaurant. Amazing beer. Amazing food.
House music was so loud that I was literally yelling at my date. Turn the music down
The staff were attentive and welcoming. The menu selection was good as was the wine list.
The food was delicious, prepared with finesse and wonderful spices.
Can not recommend this restaurant enough.
Our meal was superb!
very nice restaurant in doral city place, a very good option for every day lucnh and dinning .
Great place to eat and drink. Excelent food and service.
Average spot in Doral. The place definitely needs more servers!
We made a reservation at City Works for Saturday, January 20, 2018 to mark my birthday. When we arrived at the place, we realized that it was closed.
When we made the reservation online, we were not told that the place would be closed that day. Disappointed by what happened, we had to choose another of the CITY PLACE restaurants.
Thank God, the night ended well despite all this.
We have not been able to test CITY WORKS yet, so I can not recommend it yet.
We made a dinner reservation for Saturday at 8:00pm to celebrate my husband's birthday. We arrived a few minutes early and as we walked closer to the restaurant, we noticed that all of the tables (inside and outside) were empty. As we approached the front door, the gentleman who inside was by the hostess stand turned off the lights and walked away. A sign was taped to the door advising that the restaurant was closed due to repairs being made. Given that we had reservations to celebrate a special occasion, it would have been courteous for the restaurant to contact us and advise us. We were left without plans, all of the restaurants in the area had a long wait (since it was a Saturday night), so we ended up having to dine at a casual, fast food establishment.
Service was ok, heard waiter complaining to hostess that he didn’t want our table prior to seating us. Food came out cold (restaurant was 1/4 full), but didn’t want to deal with sending it back to only receive reheated food. We really love their tap selection, but won’t be going back for the food. It’s a shame, could be like the Yardhouse of Doral.
Great space and food, but maybe needs to be promoted more to get its name out more. Both times I’ve been there (once during the week for dinner and a second time for Sunday brunch) it was pretty empty.
Food was ok although I feel they changed the menu not long ago. The spicy buffalo dip was really good. Service was good and the waitress was very attentive.
Good selection of burgers varied menu. One complaint on the ribs, not the first they have been over cooked and way too burnt. While they could be quite tasty, and I like my ribs dry, these were definitely left in the grill too long.
For a Saturday night I found way too many small children left unsupervised and running out of control for my liking. While all the adults were at a table by themselves they left seven little girls all under the age of 8 at the table next to me where they were jumping in the booth, constantly running right next to my booth, and leaning over crawling into mine. Not the adult outing I was looking forward to. I don’t blame the kids, I blame the adults not wanting to be parents.
Overall the food is good. The ambiance could be slightly better. While I do expect noise at a bar type establishment, the noise here made it impossible to listen to anything but the little girls in the booth next door that seemed to achieve a decibel rating beyond compare. I would have asked my server for a different table but I only saw her twice, once when we ordered and when we paid the bill.
Not my first time at city works probably won’t be my last. But won’t be back for a while.
Horrible service. Thought they were just lost when they first opened, but it has seemed to stay the same after 9 months. Most horrible servers ever. Do not recommend, stay away!
This was our first time at City Works for dinner. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday. From the moment we walked in the door, the service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The food was great and they have an AWESOME selection of beers. Will definitely go back.
Nice place and good service. Only thing I didn’t like was that it we went to watch the World Series and you could not hear it. Other than that I recommend it, fried pickles really good!
Everything was so good, went on a double date with some friends, only thing was that we had a 8:45 reservation and it took us forever to find a parking space and when we got to the restaurant it was 8:52 and they gave our table to the people infront of us because they have a “10 minute cancellation policy” but we were there before the 10 minutes. They did give us a table but just be on time for your reservation!!!
Birthday with friends!!
Good menu options...great for group dining. Great beer selection!!!
This has become our Friday night go to restaurant. My husband loves the beer selection and the buffalo shrimp. Service is good once you get someone to your table.
We love it here!
Nice place. Food was tasty but salty. Service was great and plenty of TV's. The prices are high. The total cost for 2 dinner items, 3 sandwiches and a kids macaroni & 2 small appetizers wad $137 plus tip.
They have very little choice for salad dressings. Presentation of food was very nice. The restaurant is very similar to Yard House
Service was very good and attentive. Very helpful with the beer and food recommendations.
Large and spacious restaurant. Kind of dull and empty on a Monday night. But love the ambience and spaciousness of the restaurant.
Great spot for a date or family get-together. Think of your typical and go-to dining spot when there’s no food at home, but in a much nicer location and environment. Service was great and the food was delicious. It’s a nice alternative to Chili’s and Miller’s Ale House. A lot of variety and great vibes within.
Overall great food & service
Great location with fabulous food and amazing services👍
Chose City Works on our first visit to City Place . I checked the menu before making the reservation and found the Duck Reuben which caught my attention but when we got there it was not available - big disappointment.
The Fish Tacos came with a chiplote slaw that for me was fire in my mouth so I was not able to enjoy my dinner 100%
The Risotto was not pleasant either.
The Thai Chicken Wrap was kind of dry.
The Fish and Chips was OK.
Service was good, ambiance was good.
Prices would had been OK if the food would had been better.
At this time I have no reason to go back; but, I will definitely try other restaurants at City Place.
Great ambiance, food and drinks excellent, casual dining.
This was our first time at the restaurant. The service could have been much more efficient. We arrived before 6 P.M. on a Monday and it was slow. Nevertheless, it took a while for our server to come to the table, and took a while for us to get our drink orders. I had to ask for water and when my glass was empty, I had to request a refill.
The food quality was descent but nothing to write home about.
Nice place, friendly staff, great food. I recommend the crab and cheese dip as an appetizer, the fish and chips were great and also the meat. Their bloody mary was amazing as well as their mules for cocktails, beer prices are pretty fair and lower than other places like world of beer (so my husband was a happy camper)
Great beer selection. Good food. Loved the atmosphere
Nice place, good food, lots of beer choices. But you're not give full value of beer for the price. I was given a glass of Sam Adams Lager in a glass that was less than a standard beer pint. Felt short changed.
First time at City Works and enjoyed it very much. Food was good and good pleasant service. Great beer menu and lots of televisions for watching sporting events.
Overall the place was great. Went there for Easter brunch and the food was excellent minus their dessert. Only two options and neither were really worth the money or calories. Great beer selection and the rest of the food was tasty. The service could have been better, our waiter just seemed to get annoyed or overwhelmed, not sure which one. We were a party of 6 so it wasn't that big of a party. Not sure what his problem was. Nevertheless, we'd probably go back.
We loved everything about this place!
The food was excellent at this brand new restaurant in Doral. The duck nachos are amazing. Great beer selection. The service was very good too. Our only complaint was that they were playing loud regeton music during lunch time. It was very annoying. The Sunday daytime ambiance, family customers and food do not go well with regeton. Bad music choice by management to play to their choice of music. After we requested that the music be changed, they played softer popular music.
The ambience is great to watch sports and to catch up with friends. The beer selection is phenomenal. I really like the French Kiss cocktail. The food is mediocre. The description sounds great on the menu but presentation and taste need more emphasis. We ordered the Sliders and while the meat was cooked medium and tender, it had no flavor. I think the appetizers are definitely better than anything else on the menu. Nevertheless, we really like the ambiance, and we will keep going back to this restaurant to give the menu another shot.
Had a great burger with pulled pork and onion rings on top. Great beer selection. Great hostess and waiter
