Food was ok! Service was great! Thanks Mike!
We had a wonderful experience at City Tap! Great food and very cute local!
This was the 2nd time we visited. This was not a good experience. The waiter was not attentive and it was Sunday afternoon no one was in his section. The ribeye was not cooked as my daughter asked. As well as I asked for no cheese on my burger and it looked liked it had extra cheese. This was a family visit and it probably will be our last.
Reservation was fulfilled. Service was awful - ignored seating or ordering. Very bad experience.
US Marathon Olympic trials. Perfect atmosphere for an inspiring event. We had a blast! Thank you!
Great spot for watching sports. Lots of TVs. Great food & service.
Wonderful visit for happy hour. Worked with me to have a space reserved and the service and food were amazing. Highly recommend.
Went there for their $5 Margarita special for National Margaritas day; but were totally disappointed when she brought a 8oz glass full of ice and barely any margarita in it. No wonder the place was empty. We ended up going to another of their neighbors they had better drinks, food and ambiance.
We were only 1 of 2 tables there for lunch. We waited forever for our food and once it arrived the chicken wings were way over cooked. We didn’t have time to reorder, so we just ate them. I have had the wings many times and they are normally excellent. Our waiter was very friendly, but the kitchen was not on there game that day.
Great place for food and fun. We went before a Fox Theatre event and staff were very helpful (once we finally got someone's attention to help us) to ensure we got our food. Took a bit to get the check after, but food was good and overall great place.
Good was good service was so so our waiter kept disappearing making this a not do pleasing experience. They were not super crowded so I really don’t understand why he kept taking forever to come check on us
The restaurant was decent. Food was okay, but side portions were small for the cost. Drinks were okay, but for the cost, should have been a bit larger.
Superb dinner. Loved the kebabs and the ravioli was to die for!
Food was good but a bit overpriced. Service was slow and the server didn’t seem to be in a good mood. She would show up at the table and not really say anything - just expecting us to flag her if we needed anything. She never asked how the food was. We were running late to the fox theatre (which we told her) and she still disappeared without bringing us the check for 5+ minutes.
Excellent server and good menu
Great brunch spot for a large group.
Atmosphere is fun - bar and grill vibe. Food is average. Corn dip appetizer is good. Flatbreads were good. Salads are good and very sizable. Entrees were average. Service was average. Took a long time to get cocktails and beer. Salad came out with entrees rather than before, salad was actually the last thing brought out. Not sure if this was a service issue or a kitchen issue. Overall, experience was to be expected from a chain bar and grill. They also were not busy when we were there.
Perfect Pre-theater light bite! Staff very courteous, helpful,
Service was slow was slow, it wasnt crowded, fish and chips over cooked and expensive!
It was good
Perfect pre-theater location. Happy hour until 6:30 with half price drinks and appetizers! Excellent service and great vibe.
Good place to meet friends for a pre-show meal. Friendly service. We had a couple problems with server spills, and were comped appropriately.
We had a 7:00 reservation, and were not seated until after 7:30. We waited 30 minutes for our dry hamburgers. BTW...if you have a food allergy let them know. They cook the fries in he same fryer as the shrimp.
Wasn't too busy, but service was a little slow. The food didnt seem as good as I remembered from previous visits. I was disappointed in the pork nachos...not sure if it had hummus or thick grainy cheese on it. The elote dip was good though.
Excellent. Top notch, Shawn and Matt made us feel welcomed, were attentive and the food was excellent!
We loved all the food sitting on the patio on a perfect day. Our server Leah was amazing!! Can’t wait to go back !!
This was out first time to go to City Tap and we will definitely go back. The atmosphere was fun and the food was great!
Sean was a great server and, as always, food was delicious.
TV’s went down during the game and never came back up. Hopefully they get that fixed 👍🏻
Food is just okay, better places in midtown. Nice bar area... and the buffalo wings have cinnamon on them... nasty
We stopped here to grab dinner before going out for New Years Eve. Everything was great and they were decorating and getting ready for their own NYE party. We should have stayed st City Tap, they looked like they were going to have some fun.
Food was sub-par, cold when it should have been hot. Guacamole was brown. Food preparer had nice dreadlocks but no sign of a hair net. Dirty glasses and silverware. They did have wrapped peppermints in the bathroom. Never again.
City tap is a local neighborhood favorite. If you have a large or small party or just want to catch a game at the bar the food is varied is on point.
Food was great and priced fairly for the market. Drinks were a little pricey but good. We would definitely dine at this restaurant again.
The restaurant is nice but the staff was completely unconcerned with the customer’s comfort. It was a 55 degree day the restaurant had all doors and windows open. The restaurant was unbearably cold, it was actually warmer outside. Multiple complaints were made, elderly women were seen wrapped in coats and hats, but the various staff members didn’t care about the guests comfort inside but rather serving the 5 people sitting at outdoor bar windows.
Our waiter (she) was terrific! Having people join us a different times was not easy but she handled it well. Good place on Friday evening with valet too. Overall good experience!! Second time.
Tony was our server and he was very attentive. The food was very good and the wait time was not excessive even though the restaurant was full. We will definitely be back.
Good food and great service. We made a reservation for 8 to celebrate an anniversary and the preparations of the table and service was outstanding. Servers are friendly. Food was tasty but just a little pricey for our lunch budget. Will do again on another special occasion. Free parking with free valet after 4 pm.
I think City Tap has a lot to offer. Extensive beer menu, excellent food, both valet and self parking available onsite (free). I also think City Tap could improve in a couple of ways. Our server was extremely nice and a manager came over and chatted with us but they were slow. It took entirely too long for someone to stop by and take our drink order. We would have been happy if anyone stopped by our table to say ‘someone will be with you.’ Whether that’s a result of a slow Sunday afternoon crowd or the norm, I don’t know. The menu, while varied, was overpriced. We got a fried chicken sandwich with fries for $16. It was a sizeable sandwich but nothing that would have me writing home about. The only reason I didn’t balk at paying that was because we were allowed to leave our car in their parking deck which we went to a show at The Fox which saved me a lot of hassle. I do think we will visit again and try more of the menu.
