El City Perch es un comedor norteamericano de temporada, fundado por el ganador del premio James Beard, el chef Sherry Yard, y con Andre Miller en el horno. El restaurante sirve comida tradicional con productos naturales de granjas cercanas, lo que lo convierte en el destino culinario obligatorio de North Bethesda. El menú ofrece platos únicos. enfocándose en hacer más intenso el sabor de los ingredientes. El restaurante ofrece a sus comensales una cocina abierta a la vista y un bar dedicado a los mariscos. We didn’t have a server for the first 10-15 minutes, at which point we asked a passing employee, who then said he would check and then came back as our server. We ordered drinks but didn’t receive drinks, including water, for about 25 minutes. Different bar ingredients were not in stock. One person in our party then went to the bar to ask about the drinks. The drinks we eventually received were not good. Gin and vodka tonics that tasted very bitter, and an old fashioned that was syrupy. The food was good and as expected. We were disappointed by the lack of service at the beginning. The ambience is always good there.

The food and service was lackluster. It was a special birthday dinner and it didn’t feel special at all. No bread at the table and we just sat for a long time until our basic salads came. The waiter tried twice to take my wine glass when there was still wine in it. Then he offered a birthday dessert on the house, yet still charged us for the dessert anyways. Not a place for a special birthday.

The server completely rushed our dinner, couldnt have any time to just talk without being interrupted. The food came out before we could get our first drinks. I cuaght the manager drinking a white claw while we were being forced to wrap up the dinner since the kitchen was closing. We came here to celebrate a birthday and yet we were able to fully enjoy ourselves. Also the womens bathroom was so messy. There was toilet paper all over the floor with puddles of water everywhere.

The food and drinks came out pretty slow. I was expecting the same menu options as I saw online. They changed the menu in person and did not change the menu online. That was a bit misleading. The lights in our room weren’t working and the lights in the stalls were not working at all.

I reserved a table to celebrate my stepfather's Father's Day. It was our first time at this restaurant. The service was terrible. We waited for our breakfasts for about 30 minutes. Then they forgot my mom's breakfast. I let two of the waiters know, and neither of them cared. My mom didn't eat that day, and we had to go to another restaurant so she could get something to eat. When it was time to pay, they charged me for my mom's breakfast and two other orders that we never ate. I obviously let them know. Terrible experience, terrible service. This is definitely a place I won't return to.

My dad has always enjoyed dining at City Perch, so thought brunch for Father’s Day would be a good idea…unfortunately that was not this case this time. It took 40 minutes to get lukewarm coffee, over an hour for the bread platter, and our meals (omelette and French toast) were cold. The server was friendly, but inattentive and overall inefficient. The manager was nice enough to comp the coffee.

The steak was delicious, the food came out hot and delicious. It is 8$ for a soda which is ridiculous.
