The ambiance is upbeat while still maintaining privacy.
The service is very good.
The food is not great.
It is not a restaurant that I would return to, or recommend.
great choice . friendly service will go again. the garage was a blessing
The place is nice, great ambience, server was attentive and food delicious. We had Valentines Day dinner, the menu was different than the usual menu they have which was price fair and the food was delicious. Oh and the drinks were amazing! And not water down at all!!! I will be coming back and trying the regular menu. Overall had a great experience with wifey :)
I would not go here again. Our server was not welcoming and wasn't eager to answer our questions about the valentines day prefix menu. We waited an hour for our food. We were told the kitchen mixed up our order and our server was confused as to whether we received anything up to that point. The food was good, but we didn't get to savor and enjoy it too much because we were so hungry. Then, the one dessert item we both wanted on the prefix was sold out. Too much money for not a great experience.
Consistently good food, but the bartenders (consistently) need schooling.
My daughter took me here for my birthday. The menu selection is limited but what we ate was delicious. The ambiance is nice and our host was fantastic. Will return 🙂
We thoroughly enjoyed our birthday dinner. Everything was perfect.
My server Jean-Michel was amazing. I would love for him to be my server again to my next dinner experience at City Perch. The drinks were amazing as usual and the food was great. I love city Perch and will definitely be back again!
Appetizers and desserts were delicious! But main entrees fell short
Food was good but it came cold. Arrived earlier than the busy hour and server could have been more attentive.
Had brunch to celebrate a family friend's 75th. Our server was good food was excellent. I had hanger steak, and it was cooked just the way I liked it.
Had a wonderful intimate meal and a fantastic server who who could not have been nicer.
Everything was great!
It would of been an excellent review if the bathroom wasn’t disgusting. Looks like a toilet was overflowing and they just put a velvet rope to block off the toilet. I actually had to walk outside and step in the fresh snow to clean my shoes.
Food was excellent and service was as well.
Went for my frind’s
Not a lot of healthy choices and value for the $ was not there. Prices were moderate to high on average items.
Sold out of fish special at 7:15pm and very limited a average menu
Would not return
Food is great! & Lovely service every time we go :)
I like the atmosphere...People working r great!!! But...being a vegetarian I do like some chicken there was not a favorable choice...u need soups!!! U need some chicken!!! Some veg dumplings💜...I had pizza which was tasty but not for the price☺️🥴
Yes if you are mainly into a cool place to go out. It’s a nice place.
However, the food is generally meh and they couldn’t even get my daughters salad right.
Great service, short wait, great food... I recommended the 3-egg omelette off of the Brunch menu.
The food and service was way better than Dobbs Ferry City Perch.
Everything was good except the service. WE had to ask other servers a few times to locate our server. We also felt she did not do a good job of suggesting items to us or explaining the choices on the menu.
We had to ask for simple staples like butter for dry toast. The response time between request was lengthy and the place was not crowded. She seem to be disinterested.
asked for something special for mother's birthday. nothing was done, and we had to ask for a candle ourselves.
waiter took down 1 order of duck when we ordered 2. The food came out correctly for 4 out of the 5 members of the family and the 5th member, who ordered the second duck, had to wait 20+ minutes for the duck order that was not placed.
No compensation for the inconvenience whatsoever. knowing that other restaurants make your birthday celebrations memorable by providing a complimentary dessert or a customized menu, i can still understand if it is not in their practice to do same. however, there should have been some gesture of apology for making my family wait for the 5th entree to come out due to the waiter's inability to confirm order. even a complimentary 8 dollar dessert wouldve shown that gesture. There was nothing. will not be returning for birthday celebrations here.
Great Ambiance and made early reservations, anticipating the crowd. Osyters were fresh and if we weren’t too full, would’ve ordered the 3rd plate of scallops.
We've done City Perch for 3 Thanksgivings now with our family. It's a great place to do a lavish Thanksgiving dinner where I (mom) don't have to do a thing and the cleaner (dad) get's a break too. Plus with picky kids who like totally different foods, everyone is just quietly eating.
Thanksgiving food was good but not worth for the money I spent and there was no beverage or coffee included in the buffet price. There could’ve been a little more foods that people could enjoy other than only thanksgiving foods. However, service was good and everyone was very friendly.
Girlfriends of 7 reunion.. night out
We found the food at City Perch to be just mediocre. I had the salmon eggs benedict and the eggs were overcooked and the salmon was tasteless. My family had pretty much the same experience with their chosen brunch. We were also very disappointed that they no longer have their bottomless brunches, where for $10, the momosa or bloody mary were "bottom-less."
Jean Michael and the restaurant’s manager made our visit special as usual. Jean Michael sent our a special dessert to my 10 year old daughter because he heard that she made the honor roll. She was smiling from ear to ear, and that made our day. Food was awesome as usual, but this visit was extra special because of Jean Michael!
The service was great, the burgers were outstanding, wine / drink list impressive. Only complaint, bathrooms were not very clean.
I really like the experience. I was there for lunch on Sunday afternoon at 2:45pm and they told me that I can only order brunch. The menu was too limited for a late afternoon.
Service was slow but food was good
I came here because of Wolfgang where I was never disappointed. For this, Food was tasty but kind of Overpriced. $19 for a glass of Pinot Noir ( they called 1.5 glass but the size of a regular glass). Charged $5 for a small piece of corn bread (and bread too which I did not order). Service was just so so. The waitress was trying to take away our dessert and coffee while we were still eating. They need to train the waiter and waitress better. I could have given a 2 star. But because of Wolfgang I give 3. Will not go back.
I had dinner there few times when the restaurant opened and I was not disappointed with the food. However I had brunch there for my birthday with some friends and the experience was very poor!
2 of us ordered the salmon eggs benedict and instead we got 2 hard boiled eggs on top of the salmon!!?
The 2 others ordered omelettes which were pretty greasy. We send back the eggs benedict, while our 2 other friends were eating their brunch, we were waiting for our new order.
I didn't like my brunch experience at City Perch at all. It was disappointing, especially on my birthday!
Delicious! Staff was lovely and attentive. Wish the brunch menu also offered salads as they do at dinner. Not great choices for someone trying to be mindful and be on a diet. Was really noisy when we first arrived but did improve over time. Also, the coffee was a bit wimpy and not quite hot enough. Refill cup was hotter, but still not robust enough.
Everything was good, food and service. However we went for brunch and they ran out of cream It seems to me someone could have run to a store that was close. I am sure we were not the only people who wished to have cream or half and half in our coffee
I expected a little more but it's worth a try. The polenta and braised rib was sweet, nothing I was expecting and should have been advised. The ricotta pancakes were just ok and the chicken and waffles were under seasoned.
Very good service and food. Noise level can be overbearing. The bread course is excellent, but pricey.
The restaurant is nicely laid out and decorated. The food was excellent. The waitress was kind. The issuuis that it took a LONG time to get the foos
The food looked good but wasn’t as good as expected and the service was slow. Sitting down was quick but when it got to ordering it took quite awhile before the server came over.
