About City Oyster & Sushi Bar
City Oyster & Sushi Bar is a classic American seafood restaurant. The seafood at City Oyster arrives fresh daily from local purveyors and from fisheries in the Northeast. It's flown in each morning and filleted in City Oysters kitchen. Some of the more popular dishes are the Yellowtail Snapper Filet, Crab Stuffed Shrimp, Sake and Sesame Seared Tuna, Alaskan King Crab Legs, and Housemade Pasta of the Day. The desserts are all enticing, all house made and all tasty. The award winning wine list offers a huge selection that can be sampled by the bottle or glass. City Oyster offers outdoor sidewalk dining in the center of the action on Atlantic Avenue. City Oyster, simple, fresh and delicious.

City Oyster & Sushi Bar Ratings and Reviews
We went to this restaurant after not being there for quite a while. We had a table outside and were very pleased with our wonderful server, Marissa, as well as all the meals, appetizers, drinks and dessert that we ordered. We are going back next week again and requested our same server!
Great food and service! My Singapore sling was weak but wine bottles were 50% off and well worth it! We enjoyed splitting a Caesar salad a makimoto sushi roll and a Thai curry seafood dish. All delicious. We had a wonderful evening of conversation with the people at the next table and had a lovely evening at the outdoor tables.
Food was tasty but it all was room temperature..not hot. My husbands fish was over cooked. The manager came around and when he asked how everything was he didn't hesitate to cook a new piece of fish for him. We didn't bother to return our "not too hot" food. Not an inexpensive night out...need to do some work in the kitchen
The food is always excellent. It is a bit pricey but worth it especially for the unique sushi. The service is only fair as the restaurant is very busy. It is also very noisy as it is crowded and there is always a line at the door of people trying to get in. Overall I would still recommend eating here but one has to be tolerant of the crowds, noise, and slow service.
This is the second time we have been seated an hour after our reservation time at City Oyster. The couple waiting next to us waited an hour and forty-five minutes. The way they get you to hang around is to say it'll be 10-15 minutes every time you ask. The manager did his best to deal with the situation, but it seems they have a problem extending too many reservations without the ability to fulfill them all in a somewhat timely manner. Our server was very good, and the good was average, especially for the price. There are a lot of restaurants in downtown Delray. I'd choose another one. This one is not worth it.
They seriously have great food and a menu with very good variety of craft food. The bar is nice and frequently more busy than the restaurant because the bar carries more many alcohol options. The sangria is very good. The sushi is super fresh and very nicely presented.
City Oyster is a great restaurant in the heart of Delray. We dine there many times throughout the year. Sushi is great. Fish Tacos are great. Would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Great place to people watch. Crowded at the bar during happy hour. Reservations are recommended.
This was our second dinner at City Oyster & Sushi Bar. Despite the crowd overflow, our waiter provided excellent service, refilling water, replenishing bread, and ensuring that our beers and wine arrived satisfactorily. He also recommended a new IPA to me that I liked very much.
Our food mainly pleased, since all of the fish were fresh. We liked the kale salad. Our daughter's rare tuna with citrus ginger sauce was good, as was our son's yellow snapper with Hong Kong sauce. My husband liked his grouper in a tomato sauce with risotto. In contrast, my halibut special, priced at $39, disappointed. The small fish portion had plain preparation and seasoning and was served with absolutely plain, seemingly boiled sliced carrots and broccoli. We had expected more in a halibut special at that price.
City Oyster is one of my favorite restaurants. I love seafood and they always do it perfectly. Everything is so delicious, wonderful sauces, big portions, sides are fabulous. I have loved every dish I have eaten there. Service is perfect also. You should really make a reservation. You won’t be disappointed.
