About City Oyster & Sushi Bar
City Oyster & Sushi Bar is a classic American seafood restaurant. The seafood at City Oyster arrives fresh daily from local purveyors and from fisheries in the Northeast. It's flown in each morning and filleted in City Oysters kitchen. Some of the more popular dishes are the Yellowtail Snapper Filet, Crab Stuffed Shrimp, Sake and Sesame Seared Tuna, Alaskan King Crab Legs, and Housemade Pasta of the Day. The desserts are all enticing, all house made and all tasty. The award winning wine list offers a huge selection that can be sampled by the bottle or glass. City Oyster offers outdoor sidewalk dining in the center of the action on Atlantic Avenue. City Oyster, simple, fresh and delicious.

City Oyster & Sushi Bar Ratings and Reviews
We arrived a little early for our reservation and the hostess found us a really great table sitting just inside but still enjoying the open air breezes! My husband and I love the selection of fresh oysters here and we ordered a couple dozen of the various types. Fish entrees are all good. Service is attentive. Every time we visit Delray we frequent City Oyster. Recommend highly.
Ate outside. Friendly greeting and ushered directly to table. Our server, Mateo, is friendly and professional. I️ ate snapper and husband had filet. Our friends had shrimp/crab gumbo and seafood pasta. We all raved about the delicious food. Great night in downtown Delray! City Oyster never disappoints.
Decided to try City Oyster on Atlantic Avenue in Delray. We were celebrating two birthdays and wanted to try somewhere different. Boy, are we glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were immediately impressed with the decor. Each of us ordered a different meal and were ALL thrilled with the taste and the presentation. Our server, Garrett, was amazing. His explanation of the menu items made ordering effortless. His attentiveness, personality and attention were outstanding. He definitely made a great experience even better.
We have eaten here a number of times before because of the shucked oysters. This time I️ got the linguine with clams and it was the best I’ve ever had! There was plenty of clam meat and I️ would have loved to have some bread to soak up the yummy sauce!
Our friends thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. One ordered the rigatoni, another the hamburger and my husband had the lamb chops.
Bad enough to wait 45 minutes after our reservation for a table. But then to be ignored completely for another 15? Incomprehensible. Food is reliable but just ok. Probably our last visit as we've been noticing the decline as newer places open.
Just ok. Make sure you sit more toward the front, about a row behind the sidewalk row. Less noisy there. Dirty martini was very good. This was a b-day dinner & it was added to our Open Table reservations but they did not acknowledge it. We’ll try other restaurants on the Atlantic Ave
We went to City Oyster for the Sunday Brunch. The food was good, but we weren't blown away. The unlimited bloody mary's were very watered down and served in double rocks glasses which weren't very large so we had to order quite a few rounds to even get one or two decent drinks. The fried oysters (not on the menu, but they will do it if you ask) were quite good. Both my husband and I ordered the breakfast panini, which had great flavor, but the eggs were so overcooked that they were dry and rubbery and the homemade rosemary foccacia was tasty although over-toasted. The atmosphere was lovely and our server was extremely attentive and friendly. All in all, it was a nice place to sit and people watch on a Sunday morning if you don't care so much about the food.
From the moment that my wife and I walked into the restaurant the service was outstanding. The receptionist staff was extremely friendly and eager to assist. Our waitress Christine was very professional. She knew the menu and provided a great dining experience.
The food was incredible. My wife and I both had different fish dishes.
Our kale salad, red snapper entrée, and mahi mahi entrée were excellent at the Oyster and Sushi Bar at Delray Beach. We liked the seasoned polenta and rapini served with one entrée and polenta and arugula with red pepper slices served with the other fish. The Kolsch beer on the menu was not available for my husband, but I liked the IPA beer that I ordered. We would highly recommend dinner at the Oyster Bar!
We got there for Happy Hour. Service was wonderful.
We asked for a table outside—perfect.
Food was great. The restaurant was empty. For some reason, we were simply rushed through our meal.
The $10 parking fee is so mean. Upon parking our car we were told there is a 2 hour limit. After that, it’s $5 per half hour.
So happy to see all the new things on Atlantic Avenue but the car Parker was definitely hostile.
City Oyster used to be reasonably priced—not anymore.
