    Sat outside in screened in porch area. Nice and quiet. The inside restaurant seemed a bit noisy but people were definitely enjoying themselves. The food is fantastic as is service and wine list. I will definitely go back.

    Eaten here many times. Food always excellent. Everybody was very nice and personable, which is a welcome change in my opinion. Look forward to next time

    Food was amazing and reasonably priced. Service was great. But it was SO LOUD we were screaming at each other to try and have conversation. It was really too bad - would have been a 10/10 otherwise

    Loved it! Food was amazing! Atmosphere was awesome and the service was wonderful! Only thing I would change would be the noise level. It was a little hard to hear folks. But overall I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great night out with amazing food!

    We had the best experience. Food was amazing, wait staff was incredible. Can’t say enough great things about everything from the wine to dinner and desert. At the top of my list now when in Nashville!

    Service was amazing from the moment we walked in. Our server was super knowledgeable and helpful guiding us thru the menu. Food was excellent. Only nitpicky thing was the octopus was a little chewy but pizza and bean salad were crazy good

    Food was impeccible. Pizzas were delicous, made with the freshest ingredients. Sal was fantastic. Would recommend this place to anyone and will certainly go again next time I am in Nashville

    The food is very good especially the carrot cake dessert. The main dining room is so loud due to poor acoustics. I am not a person that has ever complained of a loud restaurant before but this was so loud. They really need to address this and I would not go back. Also waiter was terrible and knew nothing about wines on menu.

    I love this restaurant and always visit when in Nashville. I didn't love any of our 3 appetizers this time, and the noise level was very high. The upside was the pizza was yummy as always and the strawberry icecream sandwich was the perfect summer dessert!

    I’ve dined at City House a few times and those experiences were all very good. The food was very flavorful but this time, something was amiss. The flavor wasn’t quite right this time. The noise was a little too high so hearing my groups words was sometimes difficult.

    A gentleman Kyle M was my server on my birthday celebration with my wife. Yes, Great food brings patrons through the door, but it is servers like Kyle that enhance the dining experience. He was kind, caring and even suggested locations throughout Nashville we would enjoy. Salutations from NYC. We will return again not only for great food and a wonderful ambience, but because of waiters like Kyle.

    I’m a foodie and I was actually surprised it wasn’t up to my standard for this level of a restaurant. Service was good but It took a long time to get our food and for what it was, it was a little cold and not very interesting or flavorful. Green bean app was good. Wish I could rate higher!

    We have been dining at City House since it opened. It has never disappointed! Our potato pizza & pork sausage entree were terrific as was the lemon-lime ice box pie. It was a lovely anniversary dinner. The staff & owner, Tandy Wilson, couldn’t have been nicer. Thank you!

    This is one of our favorite spots. On this trip, however, we found the menu and food slightly underwhelming. Service was excellent as usual. Sitting upstairs is preferable if you’d like a quieter experience.

    We sat in one of the back rooms. The ambience, cocktails, and food were great. Our friends are vegetarian and there were plenty of options to choose from. We particularly loved the roasted beets and the potato pizza.

    City House is a restaurant that has it all figured out. Great service from the foh, the line cooks are the real deal and nailed everything we ordered, amazing atmosphere. The restaurant has been around for a long time and you can taste why, see why, and feel why.
