The prime strip was not prime. It could not have been more than Angus, lots of sinew and waste. The cut was nowhere near prime. Our waitstaff was mostly inattentive. I asked for a glass of wine with the meal and never received it and we waited quite a while for the check. I should note this wasn't a busy night. Love the venue and want it to succeed, but the beef was not as advertised and the attention to detail wasn't there.

Started off ok. No wait. Attentive server. As soon as the food and drink came it went downhill. Au gratin potatoes were not good. Bread was weird. My drink was not good. (Wedge Salad was excellent). My steak was way overdone. At this point we apparently became invisible to the server. He NEVER came back. Didn’t check on food, ask about drinks, see if meat was ok, no dessert offer. NOTHING. never made eye contact with us even tho he was waiting in the 2 tables closest to ours. After 20 minutes We finally got the attention of the manager who was the best. He was extremely apologetic and made it right. He boxed up our over done meat and handled the bill. He was the only shining star of our visit.

Went for our anniversary dinner to try something new. We are used to spending a lot for a good meal so going in we were fine with the price points. We spent $200 (including tip) that included a bottle of wine, cheeseburger and fries, wedge salad, salmon, and lobster Mac and cheese. It was good for what we ordered although we had no lobster that we could find in the Mac and cheese. They knew it was our anniversary because I listed it on the reservation and they acknowledged it when we sat down. However, they didn’t offer us dessert or anything when every table around us was getting some kind of dessert with a big sparkler type thing. Also it was really loud that night and we didn’t expect that. It was a Saturday at 8 so I would have thought it would have been a little more of an intimate setting by then. All in all for what we spent it just fell flat for us.

We all had steaks and they were very good. Service was excellent by our waiter. The desserts are to die for according to our waiter...and he was correct!!! Be prepared for a little sticker shock. Great place to celebrate a birthday since all the desserts that came out had a fun bday candle.

Good overall. Steak not cooked correctly (at a steak house). Server didn’t wait to make sure temperature was correct so had to wait for them to come back before we could let them know. Service could be more on point for this price point.

Bar tender (Ella I believe) took great care of us. The amount of food/drink we got for the total ticket was a great value. Will return often.

This was our second time at City Hall and it was fantastic both times. Nathan was our server both times (lucky us!) - and made sure we were taken care of and even gave us each a complimentary glass of champagne for our anniversary. The food is phenomenal, steaks cooked correctly and the sides are delicious. This is our new anniversary/special occasion spot, for sure!
