Darren provided great service.
The waffles stuffed with bacon he recommended were delicious!
We love City Hall Bistro and will be back again soon.
Wonderful dinner at the City Hall Bistro. Service was very nice, and the food was very good. Recommend trying the Kanafeh for dessert (baked ricotta with brown butter pear ice cream), it was very delicious. This Hotel is a must visit even if your not staying the night. The history and atmosphere are amazing.
Our dinner was absolutely fabulous and reasonably priced as well. The menu is not large, but the selection was varied enough that is was not difficult to find something to please. Service was great. The style is Modern Diner with white subway tiles - cozy and fun.
Staff was incredible. Restaurant is visually appealing. Entrees were pricey which is to be expected for its location.
The Belgian Waffles were delicious and the chicken sausage was yummy. We had brunch there on a Sunday and the value was good and atmosphere was great! Service was fantastic.
Friends from out of town. Very good food and service!
Excellent. Brussels sprouts and Bravas skillet both great. I had salmon orzo dish which was delicious (and I'm not even that big a salmon p1 - my ticket peeps feel me). Great job all around.
Delicious! From start to finish, the meal was full of flavor and detail.
I always have a delightful experience!
Excellent breakfast at a very reasonable price considering the hotel. Will return!
We decided to try City Bistro on a friend’s recommendation. We were impressed by the attentiveness of the waitstaff and of the amazing food served. We went in not really hungry, but ended up devouring everything we ordered: caramelized Brussels sprouts were unique with a spicy flavor, braised short rib was tender and scrumptious and a black truffle inspired salted sweet potato. And these were just the apps. Then came Bolognese, Pork belly and a Lamb Shank for the main course. It was all amazing. We declined desert but inquired about a colorful looking pastry under a heat lamp. Turns out it was the restaurants take on a Mardi Gras king cake and we were offered a piece to try from the gracious GM Mr. Eric Porter who made recommendations for our dinner. And a plus is having after dinner drinks in the Adolphus lounge. I highly recommend the entire experience at the Adolphus Hotel.
Clean food great space wonderful service Please open one in Austin
Great service and food.
Amazing food. Awesome service. Very good value. Will definitely go back.
We eat at City Hall Bistro several times a month! The food is excellent, Chef Jeramie is the absolute best. His creations never disappoint, and all the staff are so nice. We also love the mimosas at brunch!
Great hidden gem! Wonderful ambiance, quiet cozy and beautiful space. Great food and service.
Very good both service and food
Great waiter, amazing food, beautiful hotel. I would absolutely come again.
Yes, I would. The bar area preceding the dining is loud, but we were seated in the perfect corner booth, and we were delighted. We could have conversation, and our server was excellent. Very knowledgeable and attentive. The food was wonderful, and we intend to return.
City hall has such great vibes! The food is always on point with great detail and uniqueness. Will definitely be back soon!
The food was deliciously prepared and I have a slew of items in allergic too. Chef is very talented. My waiter Christian was outstanding making the evening overall phenomenal.
I wrote a review on the 8th which was room service. Food was great again. Here’s the review from my experience on first visit in restaurant on January 7th when Christian was working.
The food was deliciously prepared and I have a slew of items i am allergic too. Chef is very talented. My waiter Christian was outstanding making the evening overall phenomenal. He made sure my meal and experience was on point.
I am a regular at City Hall because Gabby and her team always make me and my friends feel special and because the food is phenomenal. If you haven’t been- get there quick!
My husband and I took guests to this place, and this place didn’t disappoint us. Food was good and the service was excellent. The hotel valet parking was very useful and was free.
Came in with a group of 7 for an after church lunch. Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. Gabriela and server made the experience over the top. Food is light and fresh; always great.
Christian gave us great service
Great food and amazing service.......for a party of 6 for New Year’s Eve dinner. 😁
The Cornish chicken was amazing. Good service and lovely decor. Comfy booths.
Assistant Mgr Gabriela made it special!!
Enjoyed the food, ambiance, and staff.
I’ve never had a bad meal here. The food has always been interesting, with a well-planned menu. Everyone who works there was super attentive and responsive to our needs.
Good was great! Nice staff.
The food was outstanding at this small, charming bistro. My guest had oven-roasted salmon with orzo and a spectacular chimichurri sauce. I had pan seared swordfish served on a bed of tomatoes cooked in Moroccan spices. We had sides of broccolini and roasted Brussels, sprouts—both delicious. The restaurant is small, but tables are well-spaced, so conversation is possible. I will definitely go back to this lovely place.
We celebrated our anniversary here and we had such a great experience! The service was super, the food amazing and the ambience a pleasant surprise. It’s linked to the bar at the adolphus, which makes it perfect to go for dinner after a drink there. Definitely recommend this place!
Food was terribly over priced, no sides offered with dishes. I ordered the pan-seared dish of sword fish and that is all that I got. I would assume with a bill at 100 you would get atleast a side with your meal. Super disappointing, will not be back. Atmosphere wasn’t even special, no decor or ornateness to the atmosphere.
Very solid food with a creative menu. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be going back.
City Hall set the scene for a super fun night out for our group! The service seemed to be a bit slower than I’m accustomed to, but our server was extremely accommodating and offered great recommendations.
Have dined at the French Room in The Adolphus a few times in the past, which is always a special experience. Really enjoyed the more relaxed, casual setting of City Hall Bistro. The decor is a bit bright and antiseptic but nice. Had the little gem salad, beef hummus and steamed fish with roasted maitakes, shaved fennel, mushroom-bacon broth. All of the food was fantastic as was the service provided by Caleb and the others who assisted. The valet service was the biggest disappointment of the night. Something has changed from the days where the valet at The Adolphus would take your car and not even give you a ticket but somehow always seemed to remember who's car went with whom. Tonight had us waiting an excessively long time while a confused staff tried to track down where my car was, which gave me more than enough time to exchange the bills I had prepared for the tip with much smaller ones from my wallet. Once the car was finally located and brought around to the side garage where the valet stand was instead of in front of the hotel, they parked it far away from us (and the valet stand) which then had us walking even further to get into our car. I'd much rather have a self-park option instead of what we went through; next time I'll look for a nearby meter.
