Pair your bacon topped cinnamon rolls, with a $12 bottle of champagne served daily until 3pm. You can Build Your Own mimosas, featuring exotic juices. Come for dinner and try to decide between Prime Rib or Jerk Chicken. But wait there is more; City Fire has something for everyone, including plenty of gluten free options and daily features designed around the freshest locally sourced items.
Food was very good. We had cheese tray appetizer , prime rib and shrimp and grits. Server was pleasant and provided information about the food. Was served wine which was old and vinegary but he opened a fresh bottle and apologized when I pointed out the problem. The only other issue was my husband didn’t get the lime he requested the first time and server apologized . Nice quiet dinner on an early Friday evening
Loved it! Everything came out very fast.
City Fire offered a great setting for a late brunch with my family on Mother’s Day. Our server was excellent, prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was excellent, though $9 for two cinnamon rolls was a tad much, as well as $5 for a biscuit. I realize the Gulch location is going to come with a higher price, but it’s still too much. Entree pricing was reasonable, though, and the portions were just right. My two older kids each had the shrimp and crab nachos, both devouring their meals. My youngest had kids Mac n’ cheese, which was a reasonable portion. He loved it. My husband polished off his Italian sandwich with “all the things” and I loved my breakfast flatbread. We shared a delicious chocolate creme brûlée. We were only able to get a dessert because they still had one left. This was at 315pm because the kitchen closes at 3pm, even though City Fire takes reservations at 215p and 230p. Our party did not know this and it was not posted anywhere, though the closing time is posted as 3pm. Having worked in the restaurant industry, I know kitchens often remain open past the last seating or will have servers give customers a “last call” of sorts for orders. If a kitchen is going to close at 3pm, perhaps they should stop reservations or seating in general an hour before, so customers aren’t left with the dregs. That was disappointing. I’m sure will go back again, as we are locals and liked the menu and casual atmosphere, but we’ll arrive much earlier. I recommend you do the same.
Took my daughter here for brunch on Mother's Day. Food was amazing, Mimosas were good and I suggest prickly pear for the juice. Service was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful.
Came here for Mother’s Day Brunch. It was just okay. With all the other options in Nashville, I won’t be returning.
Fabulous food, great service! Will certainly go back!
Was recommended for the slow cook prime rib. Did not disappoint!
We got the 16oz cut. Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and well trimmed.
I would definitely go back and recommend.

Real good food, especially the pimento app. The food overall was good, but wasn’t spectacular but for a good meal with a group it works. Service was good but it was compromised in beginning when we didn’t see anyone for first 5 minutes or so. Feel good about this place for a casual meal.
Great flavors and friendly staff. Enjoyed our meal very much.
Excellent food and service. Lovely ambiance. Went with a group of 8 (2 separate tables) everyone was very happy with meals and drinks. Our first time here and we all agreed we would go back.
What a great restaurant! We were a party of 8 and were seated at a spacious round table which was great for conversations. We all ordered different entrees and everyone really enjoyed their selection. Our server was wonderful (cannot remember his name), food delicious and nice ambiance...highly recommend City Fire for dinner!
Pretty disappointed in this restaurant. We went for the first time the other night with some friends. Our server was not very personable, it was pretty obvious he didn’t not want to be there and the food was not great. We ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp as an appetizer and they took a good 20 minutes to come out. No biggie, however when they finally did come out, the bacon was almost completely raw. We asked our server if he thought the bacon was raw and he replied with “it shouldn’t be”. There was no attempt to fix it or anything which we thought was pretty unprofessional. We’ve all worked in restaurants at some point so we try to give it the benefit of the doubt, but I do not think we’ll be returning anytime soon.
Beautiful decor. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend!!!!
The wait staff is outstanding. Erika was great.
Food was ok
Location was nice, food was great, unfortunately, our waiter was very forgetful.
Way overpriced for food that was fair. I will not be eating here again and don’t recommend.
Nice option in Gulch that takes reservations, with validated parking in garage. Extensive menu, nice ambiance, tasty food. Portions are generous but not huge. Service was slow, but it was very busy in all fairness. Once order was taken, food arrived in timely fashion.
Extremely friendly atmosphere but yet slightly upscale. A gem outside the din of Broadway. I would definitely recommend this establishment! Excellent food and best drinks we had in the city!
Everything was great. Really enjoyed the salmon.
Overall, it was "meh" to be honest. I had higher hopes based on some previous reviews and I'm not overall fussy that all. Service was lack luster and the food was just okay. Perhaps just an off night for our visit. I'll give it another shot next time in town because everyone can have an off night.
It’s always a great experience.
Great time, great food, great service.
We were on a short vacation in Nashville. The Gulch is a great area with many restaurants. We were a group of 6 and City Fire was able to seat us at a large booth. All of our meals were great. The hummus app was especially good. We also had the house potato chips smothered with bacon, cheese and peppers. Great App. The meals were all good. The service was a little too prompt with entree’s coming out before we could finish apps & salads. All in a great experience.
Great location, great service, great food. A little loud but it was a busy Easter Sunday. I would definitely come again!
This was our first visit to City Fire and we really enjoyed it. The food was excellent and the service was very good. It was a little smokey from whatever was going on in the kitchen and a little loud. As well, it's in a very congested and busy area of The Gulch. However, overall, we had a very positive experience going there for our Easter brunch and would definitely consider returning.
Great food, service, and atmosphere for business luncheon! Highly recommend.
I made a reservation but, we still had to wait 15 minutes for a table. The restaurant wasn’t too busy but, why make a reservation if you have to wait for a table? What’s the point?!? The server was a little to casual. We were greeted with “What can I get for you bro?” The server forgot to ring in our appetizer and wasn’t apologetic for it either. Along with forget to ring in our app. He also forgot to mention our parking validation. We parked in the correct garage and were told that CityFire still validates at the door. As we were leaving we checked the host stand to ask about validation, where they referred us to talk to our server and made us hunt him down around the restaurant. After finding him he apologized and we waited 5 more minutes for him to deduct the total from our bill( that we already paid) and brought back new receipt with the updated total. Patrick was an okay server but, I wish that the experience was a little more formal, considering how expensive the food is.
This was my wife and I's third time eating here. We really enjoyed it. I would encourage the ownership to bring back the Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf to the menu. That was a solid item! Sad to see that's not on the menu anymore. Same thing with the Haystack salad. That was good too. Otherwise, great restaurant and great location.
The food was really good and decent price. Our service was not the best but the food made up for it.
My date and I ate here on a Wednesday evening and it was a very good experience. There was no wait time to get a table and service was prompt. The entrees we got were the salmon with bokchoy and the prime rib Italian sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. Delicious! For cocktails we ordered jalapeno margaritas which were very tasty as well. Would highly recommend this restaurant!
We were immediately seated, service was fast and friendly, the decor was very pretty and the food was delicious. I’ll defintely return. What a great birthday brunch experience!!
Food was really really good but was a little overpriced for what you got. Also the service was less than desired. We routinely had to flag down our waitress to get anything at all. Keep in mind the restaurant was fairly empty that night. Maybe 10 tables were occupied.
I had a girls’ brunch there and we loved the build your own mimosas! The food was nothing short of amazing and the service was great. The server was attentive to our needs. 10/10 would recommend if anyone wants a good brunch!
Still a weekend favorite but the prices have increased. I believe they might be under new management because a lot of little things have changed.
Great brunch spot! A bit noisy, as we did have to basically shout at each other over the table but overall a great experience.
Great food and service! I had the Mediterranean Wrap and it was amazing! Also, don’t care for mushrooms, but I had their mushroom gravy on top of the mash and it was so good!
City Fire was a great date night restaurant. The food was good, our server was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing.
We opted out of mimosa bar and the waiter immediately became disinterested of our party of 7. What started as friendly, quick service turned to cold, short responses, and waiting forever for him to return to our table
