The food was delicious and our waiter was very nice and attentive to our needs.
Mimosas were great! Cold brew was delicious. Food was ehh. Really expensive, but not that high quality. My friend had the shrimp and grits and it was great! I had the Mac and cheese and it tasted/looked like velveeta Mac & cheese from the box.
Our service was adequate. Two of the meals came out cold.
Great food and service. Relative cheap and large menu for a broad choice of food. Definitely will visit again.
Got seated right away with our reservations and got food very quickly for a Sunday afternoon! Champagne bottles only $10 if everyone at table gets one. Hidden bargain right in the heart of the Gulch
Not good. Food was below average at best. Restaurant nearly empty. Do not go here.
Food was excellent, great location in the Gulch, nice outdoor sitting, easy parking. Staff could be a little bit friendlier.
The service was good and the mimosa special was great; but the food was not that desirable. I had the ahi tuna salad, and it was soaked in dressing. My brother ordered a breakfast plate and the portion was very small (it looked like 1 egg not two).
Great location and great food.
Great food and service on a Sunday for lunch!
Amazing food!! Beautiful decor ... Server was great!!
I liked city fire, but not a place I want to come every week. If you’re looking to get bottles of champagne with your group and have a fun party and eat, this is a good place to go.. but if you’re looking for a simple brunch.. it’s not my number one option. Waiter was very very nice but seemed like he almost forgot about us because it took forever to order. I liked it though, don’t want to say that it’s bad.. just not my number 1 pick!
It was just ok
We really enjoyed our meal here. The service was great and the food was tasty and came out quickly. They had run out of the wine I ordered but replaced it with an alternative sauvignon blanc which they were happy to replace if I didn't like it and also credited it off the bill as it took a while to come over. Fantastic service.
Very good food and service. The BLT sandwich with the Goat cheese smear is amazing. Ahi tuna salad was
perfect. Drinks were very good with a nice selection of draft beers as well.
Dined here for brunch on Saturday. Although we opted not to partake, the make your own mimosa option is a pretty good deal. Menu was a bit limited compared to some of the other offerings in the area. ; although items ordered were quite good (difficult to screw up eggs!). A few little oddities to get your head around....eggs can only be ordered in pairs....NO omelets on the menu...and last but not least....Half & Half only for your coffee as the restaurant chooses not to make milk available..?!
Great Brunch and Service.
Food was good but even though not busy we had to ask for a server after waiting for over ten minutes and again had to ask the manager to run our credit card after waiting for way too long to pay.
Great food and great staff
Fell in love with this place. We were in and out in 40 minutes
Unimpressed and "meh." My prime rib was overcooked and a little tough, but the flavor was good and blue cheese was delicious. I asked for my side salad to have ranch on the side, and it came covered in a vinaigrette. The side of bacon was super crispy and scrumptious. Most frustrating was that I had saved my carbs all day to try their "fresh baked cinnamon rolls" with bacon and cream cheese frosting for dessert, and they were SUCH a disappointment. IF they were fresh baked, and I'm skeptical that they were, they must have been baked and then frozen and reheated in the microwave. Make that OVERheated in the microwave. They came out piping hot. I mean "too long in the micro and too hot to even eat" hot and came in only 5 min after we ordered them. They were tough in spots and rubbery in others and the icing had gotten so recooked that it was disappearing, so it may have been cream cheese icing, but there wasn't really enough to tell. It was completely inedible, and I HAD SAVED MY CARBS FOR THAT (insert crying emoji here). You all know what happens to bread/pastry products when heated in the micro too long. Yeah, it was like that. I make better cinnamon rolls from a Pillsbury can in my oven at home.
My husband had the Mac & Cheese with hot chicken, and the chicken was sooooo dry! You could tell it was dry just looking at it. He couldn't finish the chicken but said that the mac n cheese tasted good and creamy. The pasta shells were not homemade but were cooked properly at least.
The whole experience was NOT worth $90. Nope, not at all. This was our second time there. The first was several years ago and also, "meh." I think we're done with City Fire.
The food was the worst thing I’ve tasted. Ambience was just as bad. Literally never would recommend anyone to go there.
The waiter brought the salads with the dinners not before. He was very scarce throughout the meal and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant.
Had the NashVegas French Toast, which was fantastic. Please note that the "Nashville hot chicken" indicated on their menu is not really Nashville hot chicken. Theirs is simply a crusted, slightly spicy, chicken breast. True Nashville hot chicken is bone-in, fried and very spicy. CityFire's version, while tasty, is simply not true Nashville hot chicken. Everything else is spot-on and delicious, down to the coffee.
Went for brunch. The juice option for mimosas were good. Food was good. I def recommend. Great for any size group. But highly recommend a reservation
Toast eaters beware! City Fire has a nice atmosphere. The service and food were good; however, the prices were ridiculous! Literally we were charged $5.00 for ONE piece of toast. When I questioned this, the server stated that anything extra costs $5.00. I understand eating in Nashville is expensive, but this was extreme.
Server wasn’t good but good was great!! May need to work on customer service some
Great place for Brunch!
The menu is very diversified- offering appetizers, breakfast, salads and dinner options. The Mediterranean quinoa bowl was filled with about 2 cups of quinoa, some feta and almonds, tomatoes, a cucumber and several almonds. There was enough to share (splitting fee). The restaurant was empty at 5:15-6. Service was lacking any enthusiasm by the staff. I had to request my check and then after waiting 10 minutes- find the waiter at the bar.
I would try the menu again, but not thrilled with the dining experience. Also, I had to call to remind them to “mark me there” for this review.
Love the concept. Brunch and dinner served all the time! Both the food and the service was great. The location is a plus too. We will definitely return.
This was hands down one of the best brunches my girlfriends and I have ever done! The food was excellent and the value on the mimosas couldn't be beat! Our server, (I think his name was Zach) was so friendly, accommodating, and just straight up fun! I would literally move to Nashville just for City Fire, I can't stress it enough! Don't waste your time on the tourist brunch places, come here!
Excellent menu. Loved that they offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, options at ALL times throughout the day. Great ambiance. Was there with two friends and one had chicken parm, another a salad and I had a turkey, brie, pear croissant - all were fabulous. Great service all the way around.
Last minute decision and turned out to be great!
Good food and service, but we were seated next to a really loud table of young men who were obviously celebrating something. One of them never sat down and was just the coach of loudness and lots of drinking champagne. They should’ve had a private area/ room
I ordered the beer cheese dip with kettle chips and the chips were pulverized I could barely scoop any cheese on them, so I asked if I could have different chips. They came back with new chips and the next chips they came out with were just as crushed? I tasted my other friends food and it was subpar at best. I wouldn't recommend this place if you want a nice meal in Nashville. The staff however was great!
Loved our meal... Excellent service
There with family before a concert. Food was solid, and the service outstanding the night we were there.
Excellent food and service. Parking right next door. Cant get any better!!!
The food was incredible! Our server was super nice, but she wasn’t very attentive. Overall a great experience.
Everything was good at City Fire. I had the "Bacon Cinnamon Rolls" for an appetizer, and I had the Turkey, Pear, and Brie Croissant. It was all pretty tasty.
