Decent, but loud. Tons of people. Kind of like an upscale TGIF. Couldn't hear our server, mask, music & surrounding people. Just not our style.
We will definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends and go back on our next visit to the area. The food was outstanding.
The food at City Cellar is well above average and Rosemary Square is a really nice place. That said, there are a couple things to note:. It can be a challenge finding the City Cellar. It's suggested you park in the parking garage on Hibiscus Street and enter through the adjoining entryway midway on the West side of the garage. City Cellar is on the upper level. The noise level is very high, bringing you to believe you're in a bar more than a fine dining restaurant. Like I said though, the food is really good. If you sit along the edge near the square at or after dusk, you'll be able to watch the "million dollar tree" which is a spectacular light show with 100,000 constantly changing led lights displaying a full range of colors.
Nice brunch. Love the bottomless cocktails and atmosphere. Server was efficient and food was very good
We had a very nice evening at City Cellar. The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Our server was very friendly; he joked around with us and checked on us just the right amount.
We had a blast!
The music was far too loud in the dining room to hear the person seated next to you let alone anyone else at the table in the main dining room. It was a disappointing experience. Food was average, the venue was nice. Would not return unless the environment is different from a noise level perspective.
The food was delicious. There is plenty of outside seating and the space is lovely. Everything on the menu is yummy
Always dependably good. The menu changes from time to time but they always keep some of our favorites, and we have been going there for years. The service is also almost always excellent. Having signed up for their mailings we get coupons for free entries on our birthdays and anniversary, which makes it for a good value. There is plenty of seating outside and they have placed plexiglass between the booths, also the doors are open so there is good air circulation.
Needed more wait staff.
Celebrated Easter at City Cellar and we enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere.
Wonderful experience all around
It was very nice. The food was very good and I would go back.
The food fir the prices were average at best. My 16 oz Ribeye Steak was very thin and not very flavorful.
At one point I wanted over 30 minutes for my tea to be refilled.
We had a reservation- and One particular hostess tried to send us to the bar which is first come first serve without knowing if we could even sit there- lied and said we could order from full menu there- she's doing your restaurant a disservice. Short young woman. Not pleasant. We will not return. Don't appreciate being hassled and misled. We were on time ready to spend money- very nicely dressed- came from the Breakers.
Great service, seated immediately. Knowledgeable staff, very large wine menu. Will come back and tell others
Nice overall. Would return.
Brunch was amazing! Great value on the unlimited mimosas. Kid friendly. Server Manny was awesome. Will be back for dinner :)
Seated right away, polite staff, excellent food!! Can’t wait to go back!!
The tall dividers between each table was very reassuring. Food, ambiance and service is always good.
Let me say our server was outstanding. She saved the meal after the very rude hostesses nearly sat our party of four in the kitchen. When I asked for another location she advised other tables were reserved. We had reserved our table over a week ago and ultimately I pointed to another table which they let us take. These young girls are the first impression and they almost spoiled the entire meal. If I’d seen anyone looking managerial I would have told them of their misstep having them greet guests. Our server, again, was fantastic as was the food. The carrot cake, though - - none of us thought it resembled carrot cake we’d ever had.
Nice experience! Good food!
Food was just OK and service was slow and inattentive.
Our waiter was not very attentive, but the food made up for it.
Made a reservation and say for 40 minutes without being helped or served.
The only time we got help is when we flagged someone down for waters.
Horrible service for a restaurant like this in the heart of city place.
Managers completely ignoring tables, unaware of their own reservations, and poor team effort overall considering several employees walked by us and ignored the fact that we sat at an empty table for about 40 minutes.
Def won’t be going back
Great staff, great atmosphere and attention to detail with Outstanding food!
Brunch was great. The food came out hot. Our server was very accommodating. I’m going to be back fit sure.
City Cellar is a great place for a girls' brunch, business lunch, or special date, of which I've done all three. The food is very good, the wait staff personable and attentive. The decor is very nice with an ambiance that is casual and easygoing. Love sitting outside. The kale salad is a favorite with chicken on top, the calamari is tender, the charcuterie board has a nice variety of cheese, meat, and accompaniments. And you cannot go wrong with bottomless mimosas and bloody marys!
Our server, Manny was very attentive. The food was great and the prices reasonable.
Our first time there and definitely not our last!! Everything was delicious!! Peach sangria my favorite😋
Great meal and service.
The appetizers were delivered with the dinner
Server was overwhelmed ! Too many stations but very nice!
Great brunch menu.
Great food and service. Just wish the music they played was off or at least low, it made it really difficult to have a conversation. Besides that it was a great experience
Good and consistent as always. Mushroom soup and brussel sprouts are always ordered. Fab! Our server (Mario I think??). Was great and food was out in a jiffy.
The best restaurant we have eaten in for some time.
The restaurant was not busy but we had still made a reservation earlier in the day, so when I walked up to the hostess stand, they said they did not have a reservation under my name. I told them I had reserved the table on open table and they asked to see the confirmation, which I provided. They still could not find it. And then a few moments later, when they were showing us to a table, the hostess told me they had given my reservation to someone else who had the same first name as me. I then saw in my emails that my reservation had been confirmed 30 minutes prior to us entering the restaurant and 30 minutes prior to our reservation time. Just because someone has the same first name as me does not mean they have the same last name and should be able to take my reservation.
This place is the BEST! Love coming here for weekend brunch as they have great mimosas (all you can drink) and a good variety of lunch and breakfast items. I honestly have never gotten something I didn’t like. 10/10 recommend coming here if you are visiting from out of town because it’s in the center of a lot!
Food was outstanding and we love Sam!
