This was our third time at City Cellar and the best visit overall. The food has been great all three times, but the first two times we were sat in the booths by the bar and the service from the bartender who was clearly busy making drinks and probably shouldn't have been given a table to serve as well left a lot to be desired. We decided to give it one more shot for Sunday brunch and got seated in a nice booth. Our server was new and still training, but he did an amazing job! Friendly, gave us great recommendations, treated us well and made sure we had everything we needed. Our party included a friend we hadn't seen in a while so our table sat for almost 3 hours and never once did he or the server training him make us feel like we had overstayed our welcome. We loved our experience and will definitely ask to sit with him in the future!

Menu choices are excellent for brunch/lunch. Quiche was a little cold but sent it back and got a piping hot one that was very good. Server was great - available when we needed him and scarce when we were talking. Over all great experience

It’s big , it was crowded (Sat . Night in season). Yet we had great service and a great meal. City Place is Cool and it’s right in the middle.

City Cellar is one of my favorite restaurants. It is on the pricey side, so I usually go on special occasions. The food is always excellent as is the service. The restaurant is located at CitiPlace in downtown West Palm Beach on the second floor. Being at CitiPlace makes it easy to combine a good meal with other activities (movies, shopping, bands, etc). City Cellar has indoor and outdoor tables. The outdoor tables overlook the CitiPlace courtyard with the band stage and is a great place to listen to the music and "people watch". I always eat outside when I go to City Cellar. I highly recommend this restaurant.

With the lights on and fans spinning so fast it caused a strobe effect that made one of our guests sick by the end of the meal. Slow down the fans outside please ...
Salads and rigatoni are great!
Prices are a bit steep, especially the wine
Service was good!

Food consistency used to be on point. The last visit we had to send two entrees back due to being over cooked.

All was good except for our service from our waiter (James). He would literally disappear, or he would skip our table all together and go to another table instead, that we flagged down another waiter to help . We had to wait for service, called out for him and he still would not hear us or acknowledge us.

We ordered the brunch City Cellar Breakfast New Years Day. The hostess was not happy to be there. The waiter, Josh, was personable and efficient. Food was tepid and the sausages, cold and funky. Of course, the food was overpriced. The local diner does better for $10 total, truth be known. CC is probably a better place for people who drink their breakfasts. I didn't complain because I vote with my feet.

We have been going to City Cellar for years. This was a friends’ get-together for a pre- Christmas brunch. The steak for the steak and eggs dish was so good! All the food was delicious. We were not rushed, the servers were attentive, and it was very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

After a disappointing start with a 1/2 price bottle of wine exclusion (Mgr made it right), the service and food was very good. The manager's customer service was appreciated. The dining and bar area is beautiful, and the restaurant was busy and energetic. Would go back.

The menu choices are expensive in most cases. The meals are delicious and prepared as fine dining. The least expensive glass of wine for 2, 2 moderate entrees and the least expensive appetizer will be $100.
The decor is beautiful and the location is good. Be sure to take your receipt to guest services to have your parking ticket validated.

Surprising good. Had a great meal in s casual atmosphere while catching up with old friends. Creative, casual, hip, all the things you want in a restaurant when you really don’t want to go to a “ restaurant”! Will defiantly return to this gem of a restaurant and “mini mall”. Also, great cocktails by a true pro behind the stick.

This is my, lost count how many times, at City Cellar. Unfortunately this was not the best experience. We arrived just before 5 so the menu is the, very limited menu. So we ordered some drinks and appetizers and waited for 5 for the full menu with nightly specials. Maybe because it was Sunday, maybe because so many restaurants at City Place have closed, maybe just not a good evening, but from hostess to service was just so off.

City Cellar did a great job with our large group. They continuously filled our endless mimosas and stayed on top of all requests. Would definitely suggest them for a large group :)

Service was great but the food was terrible. We were served bread in the beginning which was old and dry. One main chicken course had a lot of fat and cartilage in it. And the grouper dish tasted like too much salt.

Food was very good. I was in the mood for some comfort food and my partner justed wanted a pizza. She had a very delicious arugula, fig, and proscuitto pizza and I opted for roasted chicken, polenta, and cauliflower (I very seldom have chicken out). Both were excellent. My chicken was moist and beautifully cooked.

Our waitress was excellent. She (I wish I could remember her name, but she was blonde, from Chicago and had two pigtails), was able to provide great wine suggestions and was attentive without being intrusive.

All in all it was a very nice dinner.

Consistently good from the atmosphere, to the service, to the food. Been several times for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Never been dissapointed and Mike the GM goes out his way every time to make sure everything is a top notch dining experience. He even had the kitchen make a dessert for us that a friend raved about and it had been on the specialty menu several weeks prior but wasn't listed that evening. Always a wonderful experience!
